No more numbers excuses, I am very glad to see this development. I believe that it will be healthy for the European conquest scene with the (4) strongest guilds all being ''Extra Large''.

I'd rather have those dev's/GM's to have new dialogues about the path this game is heading and how they are going to resolve OUR issues instead of Korea's.

  4. Judaism added a post in a topic I'd like to get to PVP, but you've put it behind the biggest PVE grindwall ever constructed.

This thread hits the nail on the head, there is soo little PvP content and the PvE content is indeed way too tiresome and solo. We need more PvP content and more incentives to do PvP in general, so many people have no point in further playing after reaching 500+ AP/DP and level 60.

So Enemy vs Oldskool tonight. I'll be watching that for sure, goodluck to both sides in advance already.

I was fighting you outside in a 1v1 but you called some backup, I sadly had to run for it

We had to focus RTLX the first 20 minutes and in the process we lost some structures to Oldskool. We had to rebuild them which sadly took significantly longer than it shoud've. The engages on Oldskool therefore started relatively late and we actually managed to get their fort down to 4% in one of the first few engages, that was quite early on.
After that they however rebuilded their base to around 50% and were utilizing the chokepoints very nicely. The timers were rising which put us in a disadvantage due to the travel time. Oldskool woudn't really let us regroup and would push out constantly. In the last few engages we adapted and took our time with proper regrouping. That resulted in several clean wipes where we could deal massive damage to the fort.
I think that it was a great fight, Oldskool performed very well considering their numbers.

I don't really know why you have to bring that up and make it all personal, it does not add anything to the argument. Especially after you just have said ''I'm not resilience'', why do attempt to bring my guild into this.
That aside, who said that I have always been in Addicted, I have actually been in different guilds and one of them used to get zerged by far larger guilds. I've had plenty of fair PvP over the last year in multiple guilds.

No that is not entirely true, it comes down to strategy, preperation and determination aswell. The siege scene is clearly based upon skill, strategy and numbers. There are always external factors that could influence a better player. That is exactly why there are so many different classes with different abilities and why you have such a variety in consumeables, roles, siege equipment and structures.
Just because you are able to kill 300 people uncoordinated without a purpose doesn't have to get you anywhere, a canonnier could have a much larger impact in regards to the outcome.

I am happy that everything evolves around the siege-scene. MMO's never really are competetive on individual level, that would require little coordination and teamplay and ultimately thats relevant. People can complain all they want but that is not going to change the direction, it only has became more important and with an eye towards Korea's development that cycle will carry on.

Here is some of my footage of yesterday's Valencia siege.

According to their numbers they were around 325 +/- people. (Leviathan 45, Millennium 70, Khaos 50, Morghulis 80, Blacksails 50 and Blacklust 30)
Considering the fact that we likewise had a relative low turnout it nearly was 4 to 1, at that point it hardly makes any difference in the argument.

I have been in Sanguine before I joined Addicted, trust me when I say that I have had my chunk of castle sieges. We held Valencia castle with barely 35 people for the full 4 hours against almost three times our numbers (vs Addicted that was). That woudn't had been plausibel on any other castle, without a doubt. I forgot to mention that it was before the gates actually were useful, health-wise.
Valencia is by a large distance the hardest castle to siege, after that you have Calpheon and the easiest castle to siege is Mediah.

Valencia is the hardest castle by far.
