I just did a clean install, was freezing right before it'd get into town.. said it was an error and to press the "repair" button on the launcher.. Turns out there is no repair button... Looked up the files to delete, deleted cache file, and now whenever I'm doing anything it just shuts off. No error message, nothing. Just shuts off.
Why are you guys even arguing with him. Ignore it. He's sitting here getting fueled by this banter, it's best not to give a whining child attention. At the end of the day, to everyone who is mocking us for getting upset at having to restart our characters and are frustrated that the promised items were not delivered to us, know that most of us would not have purchased the 100 dollar package if we knew this was what was coming. You say that what we have at the moment is worth much more than the 100 dollars, the horses, the horse whistle, the costume, the 7-day trial and the head start, but at the end of the day, I'd like to say that a large percentage of the conq. package buying section of our community would not have chosen to purchase that package had we known that we would not be starting off with this. I would have been much more content with the 50 dollar package and to just purchase 50 dollars worth of pearls instead. We bought the conq.'s package expecting the items that were advertised to us and it is not out of the question that we request and inquire to why we have not received the items that have enticed us to purchase such an expensive pack in the first place. I purchased the pack the 2nd week it was out, even before the costume for my main character, a witch, was out--because I trusted Daum. If you purchase a couch at 50% off, I doubt anyone would be okay with just getting half of a couch because "that's what it was valued at". None of us expected this to happen, and none of us appreciated the 6 hours of silence and uncertainty in which we twiddled our thumbs and waited to play a game that we've anticipated for a long time. People have taken a week off to play this release, some people have called out of work sick, some only had the few hours this morning to play before work. 6 Hours of silence, when we asked just to be told straight up what was happening. Then, I'm sure, more people would be more understanding. To have 2 hours of our lives simply thrown away because they couldn't get the servers working correctly (Launch was WAY too close to CBT2, I would have been fine if they pushed the date back on release to avoid all of this mess), then 6 hours of being told that we shouldn't touch our characters because they don't know what's wrong--to end up having to restart them anyways. Now those of us who wanted to rush to 50, be apart of the leaderboards have our chances taken away from us. Now those of us who struggled and tried to stay on top of the crowds are forced to level in crowded spots. And it'll only get worse as the days pass.
It isn't wrong for us to want what we paid for. What was advertised to us.
And for everyone who says that they wish they had our issue so that they could get the compensation, I, and many others, would gladly trade places with you, if they so allow.
instead of one "mega server" like they have in KR, where there's groups of channels, we have 3 different servers. Which means when we make a char on Edan we shouldn't see that same character on Orwen or Uno. If you do want to play on the other servers you have to make a new char from scratch. There are channels within that server that you can change to that have that character in it.
So the Mega Server from Korea = 1 server + tons of channels Our set up: 3 servers + "9" channels each.
I mean, they can't release any information to us without an O.K. Not saying the silence is doing them any good--definitely doing worse saying nothing then saying they have no idea what's wrong--but I wouldn't blame the GM's, more so the devs.
