This is not only a thing during combat - this also happens in the Amity mini-game (or at least a similar effect). Albeit not as often (obviously, as you can crit so fast and often..).

Getting additional blackstones is fine - having to turn them in, one by one, is annoying though..
Went to turn in around 400 of them - took a bit of time..

    Thanks!
    That was actually it!

  4. Tagger added a post in a topic So what happened to the colors?

    Colors are weird now..

If I change my costume, I suddenly get a new hair color.. Same goes for when I decide to hide/un-hide my helmet. Different color as well.

Usually have black/dark hair - new costume gives me blond hair. Hiding my helmet, gives me red hair - taking off the costume, gives me brown hair..

    Utensils - 'Recently Successful' list
Was doing some cooking, as you do, and I kept getting more and more annoyed by the 'Recent Successful Cooking'-list (Pictured below).

It's very handy when you only do the same thing for i.e. Beer (as I'm doing currently) - but as soon as you change one ingredient, you gotta re-do the ingredients again (unless you have enough of the ingredient from before, to allow for it to be selected and then edited).

Why not change it a bit, so it's way more user friendly. Add in the recipes that you actually used, instead of the 10 last created recipes. It makes no sense to display the same thing 10 times.

Change it to something like this:

    Example:
User makes Beer with Potato - Potato recipe gets added to the list.
User makes Beer with Corn - Corn recipe gets added to the list.

This would be extremely useful and make cooking and any other crafting that requires a station like that, a little bit easier/faster.
Other than that, I love the list that shows up, with all the different recipes - but as soon as you click one you want to make; it should really show the different versions you've made in the past, instead of the last 10 you did - because that's really not useful at all, if you (like many people do) change some ingredients for efficiency.

  6. Tagger added a post in a topic Golden Event Information

    Thanks for this event!

Caught 3 of the golden coels so far, only counting today (~5 hours of fishing afk and actively at times).
My economy needed that boost greatly.

    THANKS!

I got them just now. Seems the delivery was fairly slow

I've gotten nothing (yet) at least, so maybe not?
But then again; the topic doesn't specify if it is only for NA players or everyone.
Doing region specific events, just seems weird..

Went from Velia, up and around all the way to Epheria.

I've seen the video - I know that those spots are supposed to give Coel - I only mentioned them as they were the two first spots I found.
The rest of the spots (over the course of ~4 hours) were all just a single catch and then the spot was gone.

It's odd how every time I mention this, all people "hook on to" (pun intended) are the Coel catches and not the fact that the other 6 spots just vanished instantly.
Heck, one spot even showed up right after another got removed (barely 5 seconds movement with my boat) - but still only had 1 catch in it.

The new fishing spots seem to be a bit buggy - or if they are supposed to be like this; bad.
    ...unless I'm missing something.

You can also use the interactive version of the map that Xyntarris linked: http://www.blackdesertfoundry.com/map/

It has a Node calculator (top right icon - first one on the row), which makes calculating how many CP you need to get certain nodes, way easier.

I found 8 spots last night (over the span of ~4 hours or so - in a fishing boat). All of which only had one catch in them (the 2 first, were near Velia, so they were both the 125K fish at least), then they disappeared.
2 125K fish and 6 gold fish. That's all I got for finding 8 spots.

Yup, the new system is indeed great.

    /s

I'm all for active fishing - I love it! - but this is just ridiculous..

  13. Tagger added a post in a topic Extremely bad performance

I found the problem that caused it for me..
"Send to tray" or whatever it's called, where you dont exit the game fully.

I've done this a few times, after the Mediah patch - that kinda reserved VRAM without "letting go" of it again. Sending it to tray again, just reserved even more.
This all added up (slowly, but steady), and it started going over the 3.5GB "limit" of my 970, and then started using the slower 512mb VRAM as well (this brings down performance greatly). This is by no means only a 970-problem - it'll still keep taking VRAM and piling up, if it wants to (tried putting in my older 680 and even a friend's 980 - same issue). It was just more noticeable on the 970.

So yeah.. What I did, was just close the game and relaunch it, if it felt like it was performing worse.

Mediah introduced VRAM-leakage, that's for sure
By that, I'm not saying that everyone will notice or even get this - far from it - so if you're not seeing it; good

Copy/paste from another thread I wrote in:

Since the Mediah update, yesterday; I've gone down to 10-20FPS on Fullscreen Windowed - despite running around 70-80fps before Mediah, on the exact same settings as now..
Getting around the same reports from guildies and friends.
Something in this patch, went very wrong somewhere..

I'm running the same as you, but with a i7-6700K instead.
