    Fix pvp
You need to fix pvp in this game. You spewed nerfs all over sorc,on ranger, and buffed the shit out of giant and this was all pre-awakening. Then awakening comes out and you nerf only sorc, and only on NA/EU, while no other server has the sorc nerfs. You give super armor to every move, practically, in the awakening kit for giant, warrior and witch/wiz. You claim you're trying to balance things but you haven't made class changes in months, RBF strat is get to the back and try to get to a mage before they aoe everything. Oh you found one great attack him and knock him down, well he's casting through all my moves with his super armor and oh knocked me down i'm dead.
You've nerfed only sorc awakening damage, and I think a very very light dmg nerf to one or two warrior moves, can't remember exactly. While leaving ranger, wiz. and giant unchecked, not only is their damage more than every other class, but you just suit them up with super armor so they cant even be contested while in the middle of a fight. You're just so ignorant of your own game it makes me sick. You do nothing to better the balance of this game and so a shit ton of people just reroll into these OP as ----- classes because you're too busy sucking your own ----- to look at the numbers.
Fix this -----ing pvp, Nerf everyone, or just make everyone's dmg equivalent so it becomes an equal opportunity one shot fest instead of this bullshit where only a few classes can kill you 100-0 without you participating in pvp at all.

    You guys are hilarious.

If lotd had defended their castle, we could have had a fun night. Instead, like every week, (except that week lotd and flex actually banded together to try and take mediah, which was actually fun) you run to try and take a fight you think you can steamroll over the opponent.

Everyone has overlooked the most disgusting thing about this thread. How dare you attack Ameno (the elephant).
I'm sorry I wasn't aware only "mega-alliances," could make an elephant. I didn't know you and your guild were completely incapable of doing this- that you were physically limited by the game, and couldn't perform what we did.  We have raised Ameno from just a baby... Partially because we killed his herd, partially because we wanted a huge moving siege engine- look these facts don't matter, what matters is I'm so sorry you couldn't make your own elephant because the game wouldn't let you.
I just hope you don't get too emotionally distraught when you see Ameno's new armor...

First guy, not relevent and attacking my person, missed the arguement. I'm not here to insult you, I'm here to express my opinion about the change.
second guy: exactly, and if there are so many posts about it, that you're not even replying constructively, or destructively like reply 1, it must mean quite a large portion of the player base is making threads and expressing their dislike for the change as well.

    PvP Exp Loss
I almost don't even know where to start. Let me say firstly although I could arrange this in a syntactical way to forgo cussing, I find it's much more poignant with it, and expresses accurately the frustration and struggle of hardcore players.
Daum, P.E., you -----ing pieces of shit. This is a pvp game and you've done your -----ing best to make sure it's really only carebares gently swatting carebares. I've watched this game for years in development, I wanted the super hardcore grinding, the super hardcore exp requirements and the pvp and you're doing everything you can to strip this game of what it is at its essentials, to make it more marketable to a larger audience, while stifling the demographic of people who wanted the game as it was.
I haven't read any of the forums since the week of the exp loss change, why bother keeping up or being informed if Daum/PE, (I can never remember which one is the dev and which the publisher) will simply change the very basis and foundation of this -----ing game to cater to the whatever % of people who casually play because they're more vocal and they raise all kinds of shit storms. Thus as that seems to be the only way to get things done, here is one for you.
I'm literally typing this as I take a break from grinding because someone, comes to where I'm grinding, steals my packs off mobs I've rounded up, by bolting in and killing them or simply following me around waiting for me to get mobs. - How is this possible? Because you ignorant -----s, decide to take away the only deterrent to stop people from being ignorant -----s- the exp loss on death. It was the only thing that made people go, "oh shit, I better not keep going back there to harass them or try and steal those mobs because I'll get killed and lose time I've invested." Instead now what we have is a "PvP game," where if you decide to pvp you are punished by losing karma while the other person resurrects 20 yards away and then comes back to grief you because they're mad they got lost a fight to you.
The last thing I read from the devs was their explanation saying something along the lines of, we don't want to reverse this change immediately because we want our entire player base, which we believe are all 14 year old teenagers, to have some time to calm down. ----- YOU DAUM/PE. I can get adequately, and proportionally mad in response to the ignorant changes you implement in a game based AROUND PVP WHICH REDUCES AND DISCOURAGES PVP.
Put the experience loss back in the game, to fix some of the atrocious mistakes you've made with this product please.

  10. Arckaina added a post in a topic Feedback - EXP Penalty Removal from PvP

I posted this in suggestions but no one goes there soo...
Now I mostly lurk, and I mean I'm a real lurker. The first time I saw this game there was only a male sorc, years ago. Fast forward to now and I've been playing since launch. Through every issue I read and lurk but never post because it never seems like something has gone to the extreme of needing my input, which I assume will largely be drowned out or not read.
The reasoning they give for the change is fine, it's just not applicable to this game rofl. I died 20-30 times at level 55 to pvp. That's more exp loss than most of the casuals who die at earlier levels but I don't complain about that, you take the hit. There is no way ganking is such a ubiquitous problem, let alone happening to a large amount of the player base that "chain ganking," is preventing a significant number of people from leveling. No. -----ing. Way. And as a side note, when do you stop ramming your head into a wall of players crying you can't farm somewhere and just switch channels?
However this is just really ridiculous. This is a pvp game, it's not a life skills game, it's not a pve game. It has those elements, correct, but it's main function is to use those elements to help you become stronger, to join a guild to node war, (lol not in na/eu yet I know).
So this change removes all incentive to flag on someone, to world pvp. Are they stealing your mobs? Are they making it impossible for you to farm, well tough shit. The old solution was simple and proportional, I flag up and kill you and you leave or come back and we do this dance again, but each time someone was paying a penalty, a deterrence fee to engage in that behavior. Without penalty you're (Daum is) effectively positively conditioning this behavior by saying we agree you shouldn't lose EXP, you should be able to pve all day without care and nothing can stop you, no one can stop you. So that changes the perspective of the game from pvp to pve. Instead of worrying about players attacking you, which there is now in fact negative incentive to flag on someone because you will lose karma and they will lose nothing but a 20 second run back, you cast a black veil over the entire pvp community. There is no pve endgame though so it makes no sense, sure there are some large outside farm areas in the desert and I think a few more world bosses but that doesn't constitute a true pve endgame like a raiding dungeon with 15 bosses.
I'm not a doomsayer, saying the game will die, or I'll rage quit, I'm just putting my opinion out there that this change is ignorant to the very foundation and perspective with which the rest of the game was crafted around.
Stop listening to casuals and carebares who come to a KR GRIND GAME, and demand hand outs and easier rng, more assured loot drops and comparable gear for shit tier work. The appeal of this game was two fold, unlimited character progression and numerous types of pvp (sorta counting the amazing combat system as a pillar of this). Because instead of being in game doing something to further their character they come here to cry to you to do it for them.
Un-gimp world pvp by removing this change.

0 Exp loss is an ignorant change

  14. Arckaina added a post in a topic [Updated v2.0] Bounty Hunters, Karma, and Flagging Discussion

I'm sorry I haven't had time to read every page so if I double up on someone else's point, my bad.
I know getting ganked by someone who is way stronger than you can be demoralizing, and I'm aware that getting killed by someone just passing by as you're fighting mobs is also very frustrating. However this is a game whose focus is end game pvp, and while it might be meant to be focused on GvG, or in an arena or battleground, I cannot be the only person who enjoys world pvp. To find someone afk, someone whose name just pisses you off, or for what ever other arbitrary reason, and kill them. It happens in the real world, and if you're trying to make a game as immersive as possible it should be happening in your world of BDO.
Personally I'd do away with all penalties. I was ganked relentlessly way back in Vanilla wow on a pvp server, and it made me a better player, made me more aware, made me learn how to deal with classes, and also created several rivalries which some ended up becoming amazing friendships. All of this is an after affect of pvp'ing.
If you have to keep penalties turn them down quite a bit. I really don't get why everyone is so interested in peace on a game about pvp. You can argue ganking isn't a real form of pvp, however if I'm correct you have to be level 50 to be attacked, so even if you're only starting to play 4 months from now I can't just see you in the fields and murder you. I want to see someone and be like, "Oh I hate warrior! I want to gank him," and not be punished for doing so.
The bounty system is rather interesting, in a world where karma penalties for killing a player are far reduced, and world pvp is nearly ubiquitous, a bounty system would be an amazingly interesting way to handle those who excel at ganking. Maybe there are just a few superb ninjas (i know not at launch) or archers who just rip'n'dip anyone they come across, and someone puts a bounty up on them- maybe make it so that others can contribute to the bounty price if they too have been ganked and feel the reward isn't enough to incite someone to take action.
One thing I believe is that the western markets are far more interested in ganking, and killing. We're jerks here, and we like it that way. I kill you, you kill me, salt for everyone, but the fun is real, the rivalries are real, and it will help keep the game from getting too bogged down in simply grinding mobs or manufacturing supplies.

Tl:dr- Lessen penalties for pvp, bounty system sounds fun for players who want to pvp but roleplay that they're helping the community or world while doing it, and western markets are much more prone to wanting to gank and have world pvp than other markets (I believe this to be true anyway).
