    Hey Bels, is there ANYWAY we can PLEASE keep these changes permanent? These would be huge quality of life improvements.
    I know you guys wanna sell certain cash shop items. So I think maybe we could get a compromise with the Deletion timer? What if the 24hr deletion timer only went into effect when trying to delete a character that's level 10 or higher. Keep it 10secs(or instant) for a level 9 or lower character. Sometimes I love how a character looks in the editor, but when I enter the game I find a sorts of issues with it. This way I can quickly delete that char and correct it right away.

    I would like to put in a request.
    Since a TON of NA players that plan on playing this game with friends/guilds/etc have been screwed over by this bug and a few of your crappy systems that you put in place(Like the unique char names AND wait time for deleting characters) can we PLEASE at the very minimum REMOVE THE WAIT FOR CHARACTER DELETION for the duration of the Headstart time. So that we can all set ourselves back where we should be with the people we planned on playing this game with. The sooner we can do this the better as not to waste ALL of our Headstart time!
    The reason I mentioned the crappy Unique Character system is because MOST players made the obvious choice of filling all there character slots if only to reserve names. So a lot of people are unable to make a new character on a different server because of this and the stupid deletion times.
    Please guys, it's time to get something done. Enough time has been wasted. =C

    After 2 hours of punching in names that I liked that were already taken, I gave up. Punched in some random crap. Thx for the wonderful experience so far Daum/Pearl Abyss(Whoever's in charge of the Name System.) Sure hope you guys open up Character Names at some point. Make only Family/Handle unique and setup the chat system like Champion's Online. Ya know, or just have tons of frustrated players.

    You can either set it up to show just Family Names in Chat. Or like Champions Online does it. Either Character name or both Character name/Handle. In that game you would often see people with the same character names, wasn't a big deal at all. And everyone was able to make alts and still talk in World Chat with everyone knowing who they were right away. It's just a much better way of doing things. Period.

    No they should not. It's a beyond dated format. I do hope they open up Character Names at some point down the line. It's going to be such a PITA trying to make alts without absolutely ridiculous names otherwise.

    I REALLY wish we were ONLY reserving Family Names/Handles. Having Character Names be unique is such a horrible idea. I'm really dreading naming my future characters. =C
    Might take me even longer to find a good name than to actually create the look of them. /sigh

    Are you looking into allowing multiple players to use the same Character Names, making only Family Names unique? 
    I ask this because setting Character Names to one use only is a now dated format. There will be a TON of players in this game creating MULTIPLE characters, using up names ridiculously fast. Even during the 1st CBT I had issues with names being taken.
    Using our Family Names in chat allows players to become familiar with each other over all chat channels easier, as you'll see them under the same name no matter what character they're on. Which allows you to open up Character Naming freely. Please Consider this.

    I'm pulling another post from the Official Discussion Thread because it has helped point out a horrible exploit in my proposed system.

    But there's one issue, an exploit present both in the flagging system that you posted now and in the current system that exists right now on KR.
    I will explain it based on the "new flagging system".
    White & yellow players do not lose anything upon pvp death. Why is this bad? They can keep dying intentionally to feed negative karma to players, because they have nothing to lose. The white & yellow players can harass you for eternity without any repercussions in the flagging systemt that you posted. This is a big problem present both in the system you presented and in the already existing one used by KR.
    The exploit I mentioned can be easly fixed by adding a penalty to the pvp death for both white & yellow. % exp loss & respawn to a city should be good.
    Also, all pvp deaths should result in respawn in the city to avoid karma feeding and drama / ganking. 
    Other than that, it does look promising and it's worth testing. If you guys could get it ready by CBT2; it would be awesome.

    The highlighted part is what concerns me most when it comes to my suggestions. The exploit exists when a Red Player asks a friend to make a trash character to farm Negative Karma off of with zero risk. So how do we fix this?
    Make it so that a Red Player will receive less and less Karma from killing the same player, at which after killing them 5 times they will receive 0 Karma. You may receive full Karma from that player after 24 hours has passed since you last killed them.
    Does the exploit still exist? Technically yes, but at least we've minimized the damage greatly.
    Also, the GM's will be able to lock down people using this exploit by seeing that Player A is killing Player B repeatedly on a daily basis. Then they can swiftly hit them with the ban hammer.(Or at least a good old fashion TIMEOUT!)
    If I can think of a more solid way of stopping this exploit I'll revisit this post.

    I'm also thinking about finding concerns people have from the Official Discussion Thread and respond to them here stating why the system I propose here would fix said concern. So here's one to start it off.

They all then party up (because most friends are going to play for many hours together anyway) and run off to do Daily/Weekly/Quests and grind for EXP since Parties gain bonus EXP now to promote Party play. By the time a few hours rolls around everyone has Bounty Seals and the Karma for them have reset back to normal from grinding/killing monsters.
     
    Four Friends now have Bounty Seals for free for taking 15 minutes out of their time to farm each other for Bounty Seals.
     
    And if out in the wild these Four Friends are doing their normal quests to regain Karma another player runs over and attacks them because their Yellow? They have 3 Friends to come over and help beat that other player down and then run off and keep grinding Karma back. And the chance of another player/group stumbling onto them in this large of a map if that other player puts a bounty on them? Very slim if they play intelligently which they would be. And then they do it all over again.
     
    Am I wrong here?

    This exploit while still possible would be made pointless and time consuming within the system I proposed. First, Silver would be the reward for collecting a Bounty. The Silver comes from the Player that posted the Bounty. So these 4 friends would just be trading money around essentially. Secondly, they would all have their Karma become Stationary for 30mins before they can start working it back off.
    Yes, they will still get credit towards collecting a Bounty to unlock goods in the Bounty Hunters Shop which I spoke of. Which is the only thing that would make it still an exploit, although I see it as a very minimal one that isn't really worth doing. It would be more beneficial to play the game regularly.

    Hmm... I see a few similarities with what I proposed in another thread. http://forum.blackdesertonline.com/index.php?/topic/8235-improvements-for-flaggingkarmaand-bounty-hunter-systems/ But I don't feel like overall what you have here is going to set up BDO for a very robust OWPvP player base. There's still no reward/point to go Red other than to be the Psycho you know yourself to be. It's the friendly PvE players that will never be encouraged to try and dive into OWPvP and will instead stick to all things PvE related until they get bored of the game and leave. We need a system that encourages ALL Players to try each aspect, which is what I lead to in my other thread through rewarding each playstyle.
