Well met, folks from Syndicate. I was informed that you folks may be gathering in Calpheon for an RP meeting, or perhaps have early meetups. Was just hoping to catch sight of them when I'm there myself.
    Any information is welcome.
    Thank you!

Hey, Lightning! I'm here with Arvek in the Ravens and I would also be happy to make the trek back to the starting area to assist when needed.
Just let us know! We're here to help you with whatever venture you're looking for.

Agreed! Just made it to Calpheon, so here's also hoping folks are still around.
Have a few people I met up with! Looking for more, and I'm in Calpheon now!

Of course, bud. I'm speaking in Calpheon 2 now, as far as the main channel, and seeing what interest there is. Got a lot of people talking, and a lot of whispers.
Just making sure everyone has a place!

    In Game Linkup.
I know a lot of us are pushing to hit 50, but I'd like to offer those who are taking it slightly slower a chance to take time out and meet!
This is totally optional, of course, but if you're looking to get your foot in the door and meet someone for one on one or maybe a group somewhere, feel free to post!
My in game name is Tyranth and I'm usually on Calpheon 1 or 2. Shoot me a friend request, and we can work something out!

1.) Hello folks! I'm a PvPvE player who is an addict of good, quality roleplay. While I haven't had a good RP home in a few years I have tarried in multiple games that are out currently. I enjoy RP in all of it's forms, from tavern to free-form travel. I've been roleplaying since I was ten, from forums and such, but really dug my heels in during my teens when I began my MMO exploration. With that, however, came the knowledge of my second love - PvP. While I enjoy PvE as much as anyone (raids and the like) the feeling of pitting yourself against someone, or multiple people, is something I find invigorating. I have participated in various games both solo and in large groups and I would be lying if I said it was not a draw for me in Black Desert as well. I may be a warmonger, but I am loyal to those with who I throw my lot, and you all look like the family I'm hoping for. As for what I'm doing when I'm not hacking something to pieces? I'm...hammering something into existence. You give me a forge, a hammer and point out something you want made and I'll make it. From metal figurines to platemail, swords to shovels, I'm your man. I always work for free, and I'll never leave behind a friend in need, or a person in trouble. This is who I am.

    2. I'll be playing a berserker, as is my M.O, and he will fit me like a glove. It wasn't much of a contest for me, really. Axes (two handed or otherwise), spears and knuckles are hands down my favorite melee weapons categories. You give me intense combat, ground stomps, tank-like health AND TWO AXES? Take my money. It is also the fact that there is so little known about giants in general in the BDO lore, from what I found, that drew me to them. I have an idea about how he has been made the scion of a lesser house, one who has little in the way of finance and status, which will lead to a variety of personal choices in his character. These choices, in turn, will have a direct effect on my gameplay, such as housing and other aesthetics. Yet for all that I wish to offer Ty's services to any who need a bodyguard, a soldier with a keen eye for tactics or just someone to beat down the door when tactics aren't necessary!
Ty'ranth (Tee-Raunth) is a rough man whose work is rougher still. He is an excellent metalworker and is adept at bartering for fair prices on his goods. To say that his imposing figure assists in said bartering wouldn't be too far from the mark, either. He is also a man of truth, speaking with actions if his words don't suffice. One truth? The world is a hard place...you have to be a bit hard to survive. It is for this reason, among others, that Ty'ranth is a fighter, one not unknown to gladiatorial pits and the lines of skirmish. He's an old friend of the road and counts the land and sky as his kin, closer to them than any noble who would see the land tamed. Oh, he accepts coin well enough, he's no fool, but he'd be as comfortable on a patch of grass as any might in the comfort of tavern. He is not an ambitious man at heart, nor is he one to covet power once he has it, but he will not run from responsibilities bestowed upon him. A straight edge, you could say, and loyal to the grave.

    3. Klang. Klong. Klang.
The sound of hammer to steel was as rhythmic, as constant, as the rain that fell in sheets just outside of the open forge. Each drop of the hammer was forceful enough to cause sparks to bounce into the cool night air. Passerby, the unlucky and unsavory both, gave the smith a wide berth. It was not hard to understand why, not if the hunched figure of the smith was any indication. Hands as rough as the leather apron on his waist made the items of his trade look like the fanciful toys of a village child, almost comical. Nobody laughed. The smith, for his part, had only arrived that morning. Some villagers, superstitious lot that they were, grumbled he'd brought the rain with him. The man's name was Ranth, or so he'd grunted when asked by the local militia. A giant, for certain, but with good coin and ample quiet he'd been left to his own devices after being pointed to the only forge in the area. He'd paid the owner a decent sum to rent it for the night and it was too late to be rid of him now.
    Klong. Klang. Klong.
It was a different image each time the hammer fell. A half remembered field here, a muddied hillside there. The mending of his armor only served to remind him of the ghosts he spirited along. That chink there?  An arrow gained during a frantic push towards the top of some shoddy hill you wouldn't even piss off of. That rend there? Unlucky strike from a man with blue eyes, left handed, returned in full in the chaos of battle. And so it went, metal and memory melding to pay homage to a past as weathered as the armor he wore. "But not nearly as polished..." The deep tenor of his voice was akin to a rumbled growl and his quiet laugh more of the same. It was good to remember the past, all the blood and the mud and the pain, the beauty and the terror. Every defeated foe, every scar and sc-----, wove together an armor tougher than any he could hope to make. It is what made him who he was.
    Ssssssssh.
The angry hiss of the cool water as it met metal sealed the ritual, as it had always done, and he turned to face the downpour. There was a new sound now, a rumble you might miss if you weren't looking for it. Riders, and soldiers in their wake, come to fight for yet another piece of land they didn't own on the orders of someone who they hardly knew. The sound was the promise of battle, the promise of another ghost, it was the validation of his ritual. As he stepped out into the rain, as the rain hissed off of his skin like the water on the armor, he folded his arms over his chest, awaiting another day in the furnace on his way towards the Black Desert.

    [OOC]New Tyr! (Hello!)
Hello fellow roleplayers of BDO! I've had many nicknames over my time playing MMO's, but I think I'll stick with Tyr this time. It is a pleasure to meet you all! I've been wondering about this game for a good while now and, after being surprised by how suddenly (to me) it came to NA, I'm more than ready to meet and greet other like-minded individuals. I've been roleplaying about twelve years now, since I was a youngling, and I don't see that stopping if I can help it. There is a lot to explore, and more detail than I imagined in the videos I saw. I was, unfortunately, not able to play this last beta since I'm still running an older OS - but I'll be there for release!
If anyone would like to get together to plot and plan for characters or just get some forum RP going, I'm your man!
I'm also terrible at intro posts...If you have any questions feel free to ask!
    So quiet in here!
