We are constantly looking for ways to improve the game, your feedback and suggestions are a key part of this process.  Everyone is welcome to visit our Suggestion Forum and share your thoughts with the BDO Team and the community.  Below I will give some advice on how to present your suggestions to ensure you are heard. How to make sure your contribution will be taken into account: Be precise and constructive.Take the time to explain your reasoning behind a feeling or a suggestion.Check if the suggestion you have in mind has already been shared. If it's the case, you can reply to it.Ask other players or friends you know what they think of your post before you click the "Submit" button.Be realistic. To add content requires a long time, but don't feel discouraged if it takes time to see changes.  I want to thank you in advance for any suggestions provided, and we look forward to reading your contributions!

The User can report any violation of the services policies by clicking on the report icon on the Forums.The User shall not use the Service(s) to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually offensive, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violating of any applicable law.The User shall not use the Service(s) to post any advertisement, link or information regarding content which infringes the Agreement.The User shall not post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned or licensed by the User or by Kakao Games Europe.The user shall not promote illegal or illicit activities including cheating and the use of exploits.  2. Threats to the provision of the Services The User shall not make threats or attempt to disturb the provision of the Services in any way including spamming, denial of service attacks, performing actions whether alone or as a group, on the Service(s), that would affect the performances of the Service(s) or the experience of other end-users of the Services.Kakao Games Europe reserves the right to take any actions necessary deemed necessary to maintain the integrity of the Service(s).  4. Account sharing The User is not allowed to share the credentials of the User’s Account with anyone.Notwithstanding the above, Kakao Games Europe may request from you the name of your Account for events or in order to provide you customer support. However, Kakao Games Europe will never ask you for your Account password.  5. Violation of law The User undertakes to respect the legislation of the country from which the User launches the Game and accesses the Services.  6. Behavioral rules and guidelines 6.1. Thread bumping The User shall not bump own threads. Replies to own threads with the sole purpose of moving said thread to the top of the forum can lead to a warning with the possible consequence of losing writing permissions on http://forum.blackdesertonline.comIf the User wants to add more information to a post, the “EDIT” function can be used. It is permitted to reply to own posts once every 48h as long as the follow up post adds new and meaningful information related to the topic.Replies to other users posts with the sole purpose of increasing it's visibility are also considered thread bumping as well as spam and will be actioned accordingly.Normal replies to other users are not affected by the above mentioned rules.6.2. Posting Etiquette The user shall not post in all capital letters, use excessive punctuation, flamboyant fonts etc. to draw attention to its posts.Using the words Kakao, Kakao Games, Pearl Abyss or any Kakao Games Europe member’s name in a topic title is frowned on.The user shall not use misspelled versions of inappropriate words to circumvent the swear word filter. Doing so shows the User was fully aware of the nature of the word and it will be reflected in any potential penalties.6.3. Interacting with other users Post made with the sole purpose of upsetting or angering other users are not allowed. All posts have to be made in the spirit of mutual respect. The User shall not attack or insult other users for having different opinions or for making statements the User disagrees with. Challenging the opinions or statements of other users is permitted, attacking the person holding them is not. If the User finds the actions of other users in breach of the forum rules, the Report Function should be used in order to bring the case to the attention of the moderator team. The case will then be reviewed and appropriate actions will be taken. The user shall not "name and shame" other users. If a user is suspected to have broken Terms of Service / Terms of Use or taken part in fraudulent activities it should be reported directly to Kakao Games Europe by submit a support ticket.6.4. Quoting The User shall not quote posts who break the forum rules. The User is instead encouraged to use the Report Function in order to bring inappropriate content to the attention of the moderator team. Reported content will then be reviewed and appropriate actions will be taken.6.5. Abuse of Report Function The user shall not abuse the report function. The report function is intended to be used to make the moderation team aware of potential breaches of the forum rules not to get revenge on other users. If the User finds another user behaving inappropriate several times in a short time span, the Report Function can be used, highlighting one relevant post and indicating in the notes that other threads are affected too. If the User feels a thread is out of control, one post should be reported indicating in the notes the whole thread needs attention.  7. RP Forum Rules The RP Forums follow a more strict rule set. Any user wishing to participate on the RP forums is advised to review the specific rules before posting.  8. Appeal Forum Moderations Threads deemed inappropriate to a particular forum will be moved to a more appropriate forum or even removed completely. Threads that have been removed or closed are not to be re-posted. The User shall not discuss specific cases of moderated posts or disciplinary actions against users on the forum. If the User disagrees with an action taken by the moderator team, an e-mail should be send to forumdisputes@blackdesertonline.com. An uninvolved Community Manager will then review the case.

Um Euch Zeit zu geben, laufende Diskussionen abzuschließen, könnt Ihr noch für zwei Wochen in offenen Diskussionen antworten. Danach geht dieses Forum hier in den Ruhestand und das NEUE FORUM übernimmt vollständig.

    Dons et offres d'échange sur le marché
    Salutations Aventurier(e)s !
    Chez Kakao Games nous cherchons à promouvoir un environnement de jeu le plus amical et sécurisé possible afin que tous les joueurs puissent profiter de Black Desert Online comme ils le souhaitent. De ce fait nous n’avons aucune tolérance envers les arnaques entre joueurs. Par le passé, des punitions sévères ont été mises en place contre des joueurs malhonnêtes qui profitaient de leurs pairs.

    Récemment, nous avons découvert que certains joueurs profitent du système de don afin de truquer le marché des enchères. Nous aimerions apporter plus de clarté quant à nos conditions d’utilisation sur ce point.
    Exemple :
    Joueur 1 dit à Joueur 2 qu’il lui offrira un set d’armure équin et 2 compagnons si ce dernier liste une Épée longue de Dandelion sur le Marché. Joueur 2 demande à ce que les objets lui soient envoyés avant de lister son arme, Joueur 1 accepte et les objets sont envoyés.
    Le système de don est aussi simple que cela : il a été créé pour vous permettre d’offrir des objets à vos amis ou à vos proches. Il n’a pas été mis en place pour faciliter les échanges commerciaux dans le jeu. Cependant, à ce stade dans la transaction, la mécanique normale du jeu est utilisée et nous ne considérons pas cela comme une violation des conditions d’utilisation du jeu.
    Nous tenons juste à vous rappeler que même si les deux parties sont honnêtes, il n’y a aucune garantie que l’objet du marché soit acheté par la personne désirée. De plus, tout le monde n’est malheureusement pas honnête et vous courez le risque de vous faire arnaquer et de perdre tous les objets concernés.
    Finalement, tout joueur pris en train d’arnaquer un autre joueur verra son compte suspendu et tous les gains retirés. Cela pouvant inclure la suppression d’objet voire même la baisse de niveau de votre équipement.
    Les objets et/ou perles NE seront PAS rendus au joueur qui les envoie.
    Nous espérons que cela clarifie les questions que vous avez pu avoir à ce sujet et vous recommandons encore une fois d’éviter à tout prix ces demandes.

    Wir von Kakao Games versuchen eine sichere und freundliche Spiel-Atmosphäre zu bieten, in der sich jeder Spieler von Black Desert Online wohlfühlt. Einer unserer Grundsätze um dies zu ermöglichen, ist daher, dass es keine Toleranz im Bezug auf Betrug gibt. In der Vergangenheit erhielten Spieler drastische Strafen bei der Nutzung von Exploits und in Fällen von Betrug im Spiel, beispielsweise Betrug beim gegenseitigen versenden von Briefen mit einer Rückzahlung.

    Nun wurden wir darauf Aufmerksam, dass Spieler das Schenkungssystem nutzen um anderen Spieler Anreize zu bieten um Gegenstände auf dem Marktplatz anzubieten. Hier möchten wir nun unsere Grundsätze dazu darlegen.


    Spieler 1 sagt zu Spieler 2 er werde ihm 1 Pferdeausrüstung und 2 Begleiter schenken, wenn Spieler 2 ein Löwenzahn-Großschwert auf dem Marktplatz einstellt. Spieler 2 verlangt, das ihm zuerst die Gegenstände aus dem Perlenladen zugesandt werden, bevor er das Schwert einstellt. Spieler 1 stimmt dem zu und sendet die Gegenstände.

    Das Schenkungssystem ist, wie der Name schon sagt, dafür gedacht, dass Ihr eine Möglichkeit habt Euren Freunden eine Freude zu bereiten, indem Ihr ihnen etwas schenkt. Das System ist nicht dazu gedacht, dass der Handel im Spiel vereinfacht wird.
    Da dieser Handel aber, nach wie vor, durch die Spielmechanik eingeschränkt ist, sehen wir es nicht als Verstoß gegen die Nutzungsbedingungen an.

    Aber wir wollen noch einmal explizit darauf hinweisen, dass solche Modelle bei der Umsetzung auf mehrere Probleme stoßen. Erstens ist nicht gesagt, selbst wenn beide Parteien alles in ihrer Macht stehende dafür tun, dass gezielt diese Person auch den Gegenstand vom Marktplatz erhält. Zweitens sind leider nicht alle Menschen ehrlich und es wird Spieler geben, die Betrügen wollen! Daher raten wir euch von solchen Geschäften die Finger zu lassen, außer ihr seit wirklich gewillt, dass ihr die Gegenstände verliert und nichts dafür im Gegenzug erhaltet.

    Wir möchten des weiteren darauf hinwiesen, dass jeder der andere Spieler betrügt zur Rechenschaft gezogen wird. Der Account wird gesperrt, die Gegenstände entfernt und sollten diese schon verwendet worden sein, wird der Fortschritt rückgängig gemacht. Dies kann beispielsweise durch Herunterstufung oder Löschung von Gegenständen geschehen.

    Gegenstände und/oder Perlen, des Schenkenden werden nicht ersetzt!

    Wir hoffen, wir konnten die Fragen, die Ihr eventuell zu solchen Geschäften habt,  beantworten und möchten Euch abschließend noch einmal dazu Raten nicht auf solche Geschäfte einzugehen.

    Gifting Trade Deals
    Greetings Adventures,
    At Kakao Games we look to promote a safe and friendly gaming environment and create a place where everyone can enjoy Black Desert Online to the fullest. Part of our policies to ensure this means we do not tolerate players scamming each other. In the past, we have dealt swiftly with several exploits and punished players harshly for in game scams. Such as deceiving players into sending out Gift Letter of Repayments.
    Recently, we’ve become aware of players making deals using the gifting system to offer incentives for placing items on the market place. We would like to offer some transparency on our policies for this.
    Player 1 has told Player 2 that he will gift him 1 Horse Armor Set and 2 Pets if Player 2 lists a Dandelion Longsword on the Market Place.  Player 2 requires the pearl items be sent to him before he lists the item, Player 1 agrees and sends the items.
    The gifting system is intended as a way to give items to your friends or loved ones. It is not supposed to be a means to facilitate in game trading. However, since at every stage of the transaction, our normal mechanics are being used, if done honestly, we do not consider this to be a violation of the terms of use.
    We want to remind you, there are multiple problems with making this kind of deal. Firstly, even if both parties do everything in their power to make it work, there is no way to be certain the intended person will receive the item from the market place. Secondly, not everyone is honest and people will try to scam you! We strongly urge you not to arrange such a deal unless you are willing to take the risk of losing all of the items involved.
    Additionally, anybody caught scamming other players, will have their accounts suspended and all gains removed. This could include item deletion or even downgrading your gear.
    Items and/or pearls will not be restored to the gifting player.
    We hope this clears up the questions you may have had about these transactions and once again urge you to avoid risking such deals.

    It seems there has been a small amount of confusion on the new payment process and I just wanted to clarify a few things.

    Kakao has partnered with Paymentwall, in order to simplify purchases for Black Desert Online.

    This will allow you to take advantage of over 150 payment methods worldwide, including credit/debit cards, mobile payments e-wallets, bank transfers, prepaid cards and many others.

    PaymentWall will also directly handle any payment issues that you encounter, so please direct your concerns to them by emailing support@paymentwall.com.

    We are confident that this partnership will improve the overall service levels for Black Desert Online, taking away many of the issues our community experienced when attempting to make a purchase.

    Hi Goodi,
    I'm sorry you feel abandoned by us, I definitely did not intend for that kind of impression to come across. 
    We knew beforehand that we wouldn't be able to help with such cases, and we knew how frustrating it would be for people caught on the wrong home server. This is why we were so strong in our messaging, notifying people on the launcher, forums, helpdesk, newsletters and even in game notifications. 
    Everything that happens is fixable yourself though, even if it is extremely inconvenient. I'm glad you've been able to sort most of it out already.

    We’re excited to bring some great news! As many of you know, our game packages included a limited quantity of Guest Passes to hand out at your leisure. We’ve since taken an in-depth look into this system in preparation for a complete overhaul!
    Starting this Friday, November 18th, players with newly purchased or active game licenses will receive a brand new set of ten (7 Day) Guest Passes. Alongside these passes, a new reward system has been introduced with a series of objectives and tiered rewards!

    Unfortunately our support tool is experiencing outage. This will prevent the creation or servicing of tickets. Our provider is working on mitigating issues with external DNS providers.
