    Everyone should have a fair chance. Since gear doesn't really begin to show huge stats until it's later enhancements, even if a lower level was fighting a world boss, it would take a reasonable pace for them to get to the higher levels and enhance the weapon enough to compete without them jumping too far ahead. Of course, even that could be abused. But, honestly it's still a lot of work. The details are what make this game special and its unfortunate that something that should be free for all to attempt (world bosses) don't have the chances at the same loot or any loot at all. I've been playing for a year, since release and while I'm not a super hardcore player, if I take the time to travel and fight these bosses, I should at least get something! A memory fragment or an enhancement stone! I already have knowledge on a good bit, so what's the point otherwise?

    Fix Boss Loot
    One way to ensure that higher level players stay higher level and nobody below advances, is the loot tables for bosses, or more recently as I noticed, no loot at all. 
    For reference, I'm level 57, 150ap,152awakeningap,250dp and for the past seven or eight world bosses I've fought, I have gotten ZERO loot. 
    Is it really that difficult to make the loot table with these scores? Because at the moment I'm not finding any reason whatsoever to keep attempting world bosses only to waste a good chunk of playtime for nothing. I'm not the only one who this has happened to so I'm assuming that it's intentional. If the game is RNG based like most Korean games, why is it further divided and why is it that some players will receive nothing at all, despite fighting the entire time? If this has been answered or explained elsewhere, please direct me to it. If not, and there is no answer, I hope I can at least be told that so I won't waste any more time.
    EDIT: seriously an enhancement stone or SOMETHING would be nice for my effort

    On the actual page of the Patch notes they confirm this is a typo and that it is only a 50% increase for combat, and 20% for skill.

    Came here because my patch was stuck at 48% (ten minutes total elapsed) and it suddenly jumped into action. 
    Don't understand why, just relieved I don't have to deal with this bull. lol

    honestly that's where I'm at. I want to see an archeage fail.
    then they will realize that they're going along that exact same path.
    Vindictus might have had the worst RNG I've ever seen in a game, but last I heard it's always been vanity and little convenience items you could buy.
    It wasn't open world, more instance based, but I enjoyed it for a long time before it kind of died off.

    RNG in a buy to play game, once again, makes no sense. Korean MMO's and MMO's these days are not capable anymore of not sucking every penny out of their customers. because we are not "players", we are "customers".

    Really this game possessed no actual Buy to Play mechanics. In games that you buy, generally everyone has the exact same opportunity to get to such and such exp. You just can't turn Korean MMO's in to Buy to Play without eliminating the RNG. If the RNG was gone, then this wouldn't even be an issue, but nobody would want that either.

    I'll use an example of a game that continuously makes money for long-term players with a cash shop that ISNT pay to win. It's not a very well-known mmorpg, but it's The Secret World. The UI can be complicated and so can the skill system, but aside from game mechanics there isn't anything in the shop that is game breaking. It's small things like sprint buffs, vanity items and pets, and if I'm correct they've added vehicles. So how do they make enough money to keep running? I would imagine it's content packs, which I think is something Black Desert could introduce. It would prevent people from going past their level zones, as grinding alter imps around Velia would not be beneficial to anyone past that recommended level, even with the best armor. Game would get boring really fast, even if it was still allowing PVP in Balenos Territory. So they plan on introducing new content in the future past Valencia, why not just make that an additional purchase to keep advancing in the game? 
    I just think there are better ways to go about this if they are looking for ways to make more money.

    Probably The Secret World. There's a lot of interesting lore and virtually no way to pay to win. The only things I saw the last time I logged in were vanity items, sprints, pets that give small buffs (maybe?) , and temporary gear items, or vehicles, which really do next to nothing gear wise.  It never really took off but the community was always nice. It's a well-made game.

    As much as I really don't want to, because I love this game, I believe this new feature will completely ruin the game and turn it into another ArcheAge.
    If it is implemented, expect a ton of refund requests. It's a shame too, because this was a pretty unique mmo.

    Totally agree with you there. 
    I don't find it takes away from the game from me if other people have it, as it's mostly for convenience and hardcore playing. 
    I enjoy the game at my own pace typically, just because of how detailed it is.

    As far as I've noticed with the value pack, I placed a 22 mil item on the auction house, and only got 14 mil back. Not about to do the math on that, but I'm guessing that is a little better than it was before the tax reduction, but still, thats quite a significant loss. Aside from that complaint, which isn't really one, I haven't really noticed any other significant change. Drop rate fluctuates, as expected, but the weight limit is a nice gift and the ability to mess around with all your characters appearance. Not noticing hardly any change in life/skill/combat exp, but then again, I'm level 55 so the grind is hard anyway. Hate to see what it would be without the small boost lol. 
    some benefits, but nothing significant to note so far. therefore no complaints, but would i buy it? ... honestly, probably not.

    Not sure if it was intended for everybody, but I received two value packs in my mail today? Seemed like a courtesy, so I certainly appreciate it. 
    So far I have no real complaints with Daum or the game, barely even have a technical issue ever. Those who are complaining just don't know how good they have it! I spent my time in ArcheAge, and this is definitely the game we needed.
