Just as this thread has run its course, so has my enjoyment of horse breeding. Even getting a couple of T7s fairly close together really didn't infuse me with very much excitement. My apathy has led me to a point that I didn't bother recording or posting my last 6 breeds. Today I officially ran out of T6 females to breed and have sold off all of my spare T6 males. I will finish leveling my 5 T7s, and will likely sell those with the exception of the one female I have and whichever male turns out best. I have a T5 racehorse, and 2 T6 racehorses, and 1 T7 candidate. I still don't have a great combat horse, but with the silver from emptying my stables, perhaps I will just purchase one. Afterall, the Uno horse market has plenty to choose from.
Good luck to those who are still having fun with this profession. I'm out.

Yep, same here. Came to the forums to check on the issue.

I seriously had been trying all kinds of weird superstitious crap in hopes for a T7 over the last couple weeks. Logging off for a while, then waiting 15 minutes after logging back in before receiving foal, or using an alt to receive the foal, or both things combined. Also tried waiting to receive foal until I saw a lot of good drops happening (they tend to run in small bunches). I finally decided to afk level for a few days while playing CK2 (I need to take over the world sometimes, yanno?), and get away from breeder burnout.
The 25th foal since my last T7, is Spartacus, my second T7H! This time I just stopped my auto loop, went to the stable and received foal, without ritual. Go figure.

I wasn't having autoloop issues, then I was. I downloaded and ran the program that was posted, and put in a ticket. I'm on an autoloop now for the last hour and a half, no problems, but I'm not entirely afk.

  5. Askavi added a post in a topic Anyone able to autoloop horses since last patch without getting kicked?

I have been able to autoloop for many hours at a time with no problem. I have been disconnected (likely my own internet) a couple of times. This is not to say there is no problem, because obviously there is. I do use the autoloop button on the map, my autoloop is a simple back and forth and is outside a safe zone and away from regular traffic. It's approximately 1,000 in length each way. I also minimize it if I am afk for long periods of time (when sleeping).

After an actual count, I have discovered that I've made 20 T7 attempts since the last time I actually got one. My 21st attempt is cooking. After getting a T5 from my two level 30 T6 race horses a few days ago, my hope level is pretty low. The pair I'm breeding has some premium skills, so at least if they fail to give me a T7, they will make me some silver. Might take a while to sell them though because the T6 horse market on Uno is severely saturated.
Edit: Glad I didn't get my hopes up. Here's the results from my last few attempts that I hadn't posted yet.

  7. Askavi added a post in a topic Horse leveling - One by One vs Wagon?

A wagon is always more efficient to level multiple horses. Even in the higher tiers. However, it can be dreadfully boring, while riding a fast high tier horse can be quite enjoyable. I think most trainers mix their training up depending on the situation, but some are exclusive to one way or another. Ultimately, there is no wrong way, just what suits you. Keep in mind, while afk looping, a wagon will protect your horses from any attacks you/your wagon might face.

So glad I'm not on Orwen now.

No one gonna comment that OP thought that the Belmorn quest unlocked PvP and didn't know about the 45+ crap?
This is why the quest needs to be fixed. It is STILL misleading new players into the false belief that they are fine as long as they don't do that quest.

Your guess is as good as mine. It could be that they are unaware of the better/less populated places to set up their loop. I haven't looped in a safe zone, EVER. I have NEVER been PK'd or knocked off of my horse, or wagon destroyed. I sometimes afk loop for up to 10-12 hours at a time. However, I will not announce where I do this, either.

No need to apologize. Many of us have had to have our horse RNG rants here in this thread, including me. It can get disheartening to spend so much time leveling horses towards a specific outcome, even knowing that RNGesus will have the final say. When the final say is, "Here's an ugly (and likely useless)T6 male, or hey, two level 30 T6s, how about a T5!?", it's enough to incite rage and even tears. We get it.

Horses learn skills in all kinds of weird, unpredictable ways. I recently had 2 different T6s learn 12 skills by 24/25, then learn nothing all the way to 30. I've found out that sometimes horses that seem smart to start off with, aren't really, and some dumbos are really just late bloomers. There's nothing you're doing wrong, but skill change coupons are a gamble, so use them at your own risk.

As I said in a post a few days ago, I've stored the wagons full of horses and been leveling solo while taming. I've been taming by 1 rope, 1 sugar then waiting for submissive emote. If a horse doesn't seem to want to submit, they will get another sugar. At Artisan 1, I am still getting kicked in the face on occasion. I think there is a roll when you go to climb on, and sometimes you fail, no matter how high your training skill or how much sugar, or what emote the horse does. It doesn't bother me too much though because I succeed at least 90% of the time and it throws just enough annoyance in there to keep things interesting.
I wish you were right. My luck has been so bad for the last three weeks, I'm afraid to go receive the foal waiting for me right now. I bred my two T6 level 30 race horses, and I'm afraid I'll get a T5F or G, and then I will cry. Artisan 1.
Edit: Nope, T5A...just ugh... so discouraged. This is the first time I've been so upset about an outcome, and I knew if it went bad I would be. The best horses in my stables, the only time I've ever bred at this high of a threshold (775 grade), I'm an Artisan trainer, and I get the slowest F...ing T5 there is. Meh.
