  1. An Idea to share is have the capability to build a distillery to feed workers. The Idea is like the Epheria sail boat. Get plans, Get Materials and then have a distillery you can put near a Town that can feed workers.
you can still Brew Beer, or Oatmeal, or whatever - stock your Distillery (wharehouse), but it will have the ability to feed workers without having to put them on a local character to feed.
  2. @GM Felaxus @GM_Axion I have been attempting to cook beer as I typically do. I am using the proper indigents (5 potatoes, 2 leavening agents, 1 sugar (regular sugar not raw sugar), and 6 mineral water). But I keep getting the message seems like something isnt working, or wrong combination of items.

  3. Post on FARMING in Suggestions

I Feel that the farming needs a HUGE boost in profit margin.I also would love to see a farming rack ,or something to decrease farming time or something. Another thing THERE IS NO FARMING OUTFITS ARRGGGHHH. I have also noticed that there is a huge change since sever merge to the amount of drops of hards and sharps.I make 1.8mill every hour on beer and i was trying to be a BREWING POWERHOUSE network and i realized that i could never make more that 2.2mil +- hards and sharps from my farms, but i never get them anymore. Its like one every 4 hours OMG SCREAM. That makes the farming avenue HORRRIBBBLLLE choice. I thought this was a Black STONE EVENT,and they would BOOST the drops of Hards and Sharps, but they have STOPPED drOpping SCREAMS and MOans ARGGHHH.
  4. Just a short 4 minute video explaining what ingredients you need and how to set-up to craft the beer itself:
  5. I understand how workers work and how they need to be fed, at least I think I do.  Currently, in Velia I have 3 workers and in my storage warehouse in Velia I have stacks of beer (green and blue).  In the beginning when the workers ran out of stamina, I could hit recover and they would consume the beer and regain some energy.  It would seem like I could only recover their stamina once and then there after no more.  Even when there was still beer in my warehouse, I would click recover again and I would get hit with "Not enough food."  When this first happen I said "OK let me get some more beer."  I went to the marketplace and purchased 100 cheap beer (green).  Still, "not enough food."  My quick remedy for this was just to fire the worker and hire a new one.  As time went on I saw that there was a higher grade beer (blue).  I tried purchasing those to see if it was the ticket to getting them to recover more than once, not so     So, I've continue to just fire and hire workers to continue production and now I'm at the point with 3 workers, 2 at lvl 7 and one at lvl 8 with no more stamina and not wanting to booze it up to recover.  In my warehouse I have 120 green beer, 25 blue beer and recently add 10 stacks of a yellow dish, don't remember the name, that would replenish worker stamina.  And still when I hit recover on all three, I get hit with "not enough food."  What am I doing wrong?  Am I missing something, or can they only recover once?

We should be able to walk into the tavern, buy beer, Sit on chairs, and get -----ing drunk. Remove some of the NPC inside the Pub. Make room for real life players.
Effects of drinking: Screen will blur at times, Movement speed is decreased (Walk animation changes, kind of like GTA V - Image Below) WARNING: If you drink too much, you'll pass out, but it won't count as a death.
WHY ?We'll, because It'd just be fun to do drink with friends inside a game rather than real life. Also for role playing reasons. Ohhh and in WEED. It'd also be fun to smoke a blunt or pipe with friends.

  7. Stopped by Velia to fish at lvl 4-5. Now I'm 27 and still fishing! Love this game!

I am going to present my argument that the energy system associated with crafting is significantly flawed and not the original intention of the game designer.  This is based on my limited knowledge of this game so please bear with me if I miss anything.
I believe the game designer never intended that processing and cooking would require energy or at least not anywhere near the amount of energy burden crafters are currently experiencing.  First, if you are aware, there is a housing system in this game that lets you buy lodging for your workers.  If this is the case, then hiring more than a handful of workers should be something that a player can and should do.  Workers help you gather primary materials or process more complex materials but do not seem to touch anything in between.  To give an example, you can have your worker gather wood and you can tell them to make finished material but there is an essential step in between that they cannot do, which is to process wood into planks.  This action is required from a player to actively process through the "L" tab. This design is completely logical because we don't want your workers to do EVERYTHING for you.  However, the problem arises when processing the wood into planks take significant amount of energy.  Currently I only have 3 workers chopping wood and 2 workers gathering barley and wheat for beer and my player is already extremely bottlenecked in terms of processing the raw material my workers bring me.  Even if I just stay online 24/7 and staying in bed for the double energy regen, it is barely keeping up.  This is only 5 workers!!
So now this game encourages you to hire workers but at the same time, do not allow you to use them to their full potential via bottlenecking you in the processing/cooking stage, I find this extremely contradictory.  Some people like to farm mobs all day and they can do that.  Some people want to craft all day and somehow that is extremely limited.  Therefore, I propose that we remove the energy requirement for processing raw materials.

We are some good friends who played other games before and liked BDO a lot and most of us played CBT1 and CBT2. We are zp to everyone and every class. We are a people with a real life from monday to friday noon but if we hit the WEEKEND we are getting nolife and BDO only (casual in the week - nolife in the weekend thats who we are). But you dont need to be nolife, just play. Reallife is always first before game. We try to make a guild quest every day, but i think that will be hard because of our low number of members. But that will be no problem with enough members.
    - PvP (such as siege's and nodes)
    - GvG
    - PvE (world bosses and future content)
    - having fun
We are aiming for PvE at the moment.
But as soon as we all get on a higher level in level and gamaplay and farming (depending on what you want to get money from in the endgame* )
I as a gamemaster am aiming for high standards, and want to make the guild a sellf running system, with good officers.
    - support where we can
    - s friendly and open minded guild
    - a sweet atmosphere in which you can enjoy your time ingame
    - s well run guild, run by people who understand its a game and that real life takes priority.
    - voice communications (via Teamspeak)**
    - participate and contribution to the guild (via guild missions)
    - Some knowledge about the game
    - Don't bring Drama into the guild
    - Treat others as you want to be treated
You can whisper me ingame: Baba or Bachenbenno Family: Pajne
My beloved Officer: Nikolaus Family: Schtark
    *Endgame is Permagame
    **Teamspeak is not required
  10. Post on Worker beer farm in Guides

    By Haruno, posted
    Hey all,
I am fairly new to the crafting and working system, but I saw my workers run out rather fast of stamina.
I read some guides about using beer and I was wondering if it was possible to use all workers for crafting beer (at the moment I got 5),
to ensure u never run out of beer and therefor never out of stamina (so you can level up workers as fast as possible).
Some questions about this are :
how many workers would I need to put on farming potatoes or other materials,
how many workers should I place on crafting the beer itself,
what kind of work station would I need,
how could I make this all go automatic,
and last but not least, is this even worthwhile?
I would love to hear your views on this matter and see if anyone has experience with making such a setup:)
    Hello folks!
I recently started making quick guides for BDO, here is all of them!
More are on the way, trying to balance actually playing the game and making the guides.
If anybody has ideas on what parts of the game that I should make guides for please leave your suggestions. =)
AFK/Auto Fishing and Fishing in general.
    How to connect nodes
    How to get workers
    How to make beer
    How to get pet food
How to increase Breath Strength and Health
  12. Something I noticed that bugged me in CBT 2:
Workers can be fed beer to restore their stamina, but only from the player's inventory. For whatever reason, they happen to be too stupid to drink the beer stored in your warehouse in the city they're living in. That's great and all if I'm next to my workers, but it makes zero logical sense for me to be able to feed my workers in Velia from my inventory when I happen to be standing in Calpheon. It's also incredibly inconvenient to have to carry all that beer around with me if I'm not even going to be able to drink it myself. I already have to deal with potion weight; I'd rather my character not be subjected to the indignities of being a walking keg.
Make workers consume beer from their local warehouse during the recovery interaction.
This makes way more logical sense than teleporting beer to them from across the map, and is far less inconvenient than hauling unnecessary weight everywhere.

I would love to be able to drink beer in Black desert, not only give it to workers. Just be able to have a good time in a tavern or out on your adventures with beer!

  15. Hello everyone,

Would anyone happen to know if worker stamina regenerates naturally or do I have to give them beer? Based on this Wiki page:

It tells me that I can "let them sit idle for a long period of time to recover their action points". This is the only source that I could find that tells me stamina recharges without food. Does anyone know if this is even possible and if so, how long does it take for the stamina to regenerate?
Thank you so much for all your help~
  16. Yo! Holla at me if you played on Killian. There are so many of you that I'd like to speak with again, so many good memories.

Even with all of those drawbacks, Fist of the Empire [FoE] has managed to take their highly entertaining drama into numerous games over the past 15+ years. At the moment, we are actively annoying our enemies, (and most of our allies) in Black Desert, Crowfall, Path of Exile, Over Watch, Ark:Survival, and The Division. We have an intricate organizational structure which gives us a false sense of control in a gaming world gone mad. We acknowledge the efforts of our members and reward/promote them based on their demonstrated commitment to their fellow Guildies/fellow Psychopaths; however, should they fail in game (or at life) we are swift with harsh judgments, reprisals, and ridicule.

If you've made it this far into this post you clearly want to march in our parade of degenerates. You must be legal (18+) so as to avoid any sticky situations with statutory laws, and TeamSpeak3/Discord with a microphone are required, so we can ridicule each other with our face-for-radio voices. We are currently looking to add more crazies to our ranks, and YOU (and the voices in your head) would fit in nicely, especially if you can have as much of a sense of humor about yourself as we do about ourselves. Everyone is welcome to apply; however, we are mainly seeking PvP-focused players that are guild-first types who approach their limited gaming time in a professional manner and who would enjoy slaughtering anyone not wearing your guild’s tag just because they are there (one of us, one of us, one of us)... Oh, and did I mention that most of our ranks consist of members who have worn the FoE tag for 5+ years or more? This will be the last guild you ever have to join!
    These are the facts:

    • Named Guild of the Month by Beckett MMO Magazine, PC Gamer and MMORPG.com
    • Guild Age: 15+ years
    • Players: 250+ active in multiple games
    • Faction: There are no factions in BDO, so we will be playing the “FoE” faction

    • VoIP: Teamspeak 3 and Discord (required)
    • Founded on military principles and led by RL Active Duty Officers
    • Highly organized group of "Good Dudes and Dudettes"
    • Professional: Guild writers have been published & paid (Beckett MMO Magazine, MMORPG.COM, Guildnetwork.net, etc...)
    • Fame: FoE has been featured in numerous industry publications and sites - Star Wars Fanfest '04 1st place, Star Wars Insider, PC Gamer, Stratics WoW, Beckett MMO Mag, Trion, etc... to name a few
    • PvP Prowess: FoE has been one of the top PvP guilds in just about every MMO since SWG; so much so, that developers come to US to alpha test the PvP mechanics in their games (WAR, APB, STO, D&L, DF, GW1&2, TB, Rift, Wildstar, TESO, CrowFall, etc...)
    • Tactics: we usually shy away from the zerg mentality and instead apply smaller group military tactics and strategy to dominate the zergy masses which abound throughout the MMO PvP battlefield
    • PvP: Yes please! We are a PvP-based guild!
    • PvE: Get your fat loots to dominate on the PvP battle field
    • Daily PvP, Weekly FoE Community events, RL rewards for loyal guildies, (FoE Swag, free games, gamecards/time, etc...) and our annual get drunk-get together in RL FoE Fest!
    • Did I mention that we like to drink...

  18. Post on Cooking Beer Guide! in Guides

    By Adron, posted
Simple guide for the beginner who has not tried crafting at all on how to make beer to feed your workers.
Previous video in the series discusses actual workers and node management, this builds upon that.
Remember, this is for those who have never done it, I take you step by step.
Please feel free to watch, share, like, dislike and let me know if there is something you don't like.
Even better, if you want to see any other guides, let me know!

  19. Hey there, I've been following the game for a while, unsure if it was for me. Luckily I got a CBT1 key, so I get to try out the game before making my final decision on if I want to purchase it or not. Anyway I have a few questions that I hope you guys and girls can help me answer.
    1. I understand the combat is much like Tera, which I only played briefly. If I am coming from having played primarely traditional mmorpg, are there any classes that are setup more towards people like myself who would be new to this sort of combat in an mmorpg? (Read; I am not looking for the fotm or most op class, I am looking for perhaps a class that is more forgiving in combat).
    2. Does "alting" work in same way as traditional mmorpg's or is it different here? As an example let's say I make a warrior at release, but I really want to play a Valkyrie when they hit our servers. Is there anything I would have to grind on the Valkyrie, besides levels, before I can carry off my enemies to valhalla? (I kinda want a character that I focus on PvE and one that I focus on PvP.. is this at all possible?).
Alright, that's it for now. Thanks in advance for your time.
  20. I mean some of us like being stout hard working drunkards that are fond of industry.

If we can be dwarfs correct me now, but I do not think we can.

Poll conclusions so far. Most people like ale, but everyone wants to be a dwarf seeing as no one voted no.
