  2. Hey the scroll boss Ferrid just decided to up and walk off barely 5 minutes into the encounter, he walked straight through the cave wall and disappeared from view. Pretty sure that's not meant to happen!

Okay, so the guides all suggest to do summons in groups, as all people get loot.  My bud and I do the all bosses in the area chains together and we are both just rolling over lvl 30.  We have yet to see ANY loot off of these encounters.  The loot we get is a little something off the black spirit, and that is only when we do the boss the first time (two scrolls between us).  Second round has always been zilch. That loot is usually xp based and maybe 1 base crystal.
    Are we doing something wrong?

    There is a boss timer up where u can fill in whenever a boss has either spawned or killed. It will count down the time untill the next boss spawn.

    This is for world boss (NOT KAZAKA), and Guild mission boss,

  6. 5 guild bosses yesterday after mediah was release, 6 people got livertos and A LOT of weapon stones, today, 2 livertos, people only getting 2 blackstones or 1, bad rng or did any other guilds notice this?

    Ich fang am besten mal direkt an:
     
    PK-System
    Hierbei geht’s mir nicht um das G-Suit, mir geht es nichtmal um das geganked werden.
    Das einzigste was mich extrem nervt und meiner Meinung nach auch das PvP von 50-55 kaputt macht ist der EXP Verlust beim sterben.
    Ich versuche gerade auf Level 51 zu kommen und ich muss sagen es gab schon paar Momente da ist mir schon die Lust nach dem Grinden vergangen.
    Ich brauch ca 20 min für 1% (Je nachdem wie viele andere Spieler da sind). Oft kommen dann irgendwelche „Top-Gilden“ und beanspruchen die Mobs/das Gebiet für sich zum Leveln [Das stört mich nicht] und killen mich dann. EXP verloren und wieder das gleiche...grinden bis ich die 1% wieder bekommen habe und da kommt schon der nächste Pkler. Ich als Warrior, bin da gefundenes Fressen.
    Versteht mich nicht falsch, ich finde das PK und die Gebietsbeanspruchung nicht schlimm, aber diese 1% EXP Verlust sind einfach nervig – möchte nicht wissen wie das mit 52 oder 53 ist.
     
    Handelsystem | P2P-Trade
    Möchte jetzt nicht die Büchse der Pandora öffnen. Das ist nur eine Idee die mir so eingefallen ist:
    Gilden-Trading:
    Voraussetzung:
    - Mind. 1 Woche Gildenmitglied*
    - Mind. Level 30*
     
    Die Idee ist das man es den Gold-Seller so schwer wie möglich macht (sodass es sich gar nicht lohnt den Dienst anzubieten) ohne das Gildemitglieder darunter leiden müssen.
    Folgendermaßen soll das ablaufen:
     
    Sobald Gildenmitglied A Level 30 erreicht hat kann er mit Gildenmitglied B (Auch mindestens Level 30) einen Vertrag abschließen zum Handeln. Dieser Vertrag hat eine Bearbeitungsdauer von 1 oder 2 Wochen. Sprich tatsächlich können die Gildenmitglieder erst nach 1 oder 2 Wochen miteinander Rohmaterial tauschen. Richtig gesehen, keine Ausrüstung und kein Silber.
     
    Das Handeln:
    Handeln kann man nur 1 mal pro Tag und auch nur 1-2 Gegenstände pro Handel. Stack XXX-XXX* von einem Material.
    Für jedes Handel werden beiden Mitglieder 50* Energie abgezogen.
    Dazu kommt noch, wie Daum es schon geregelt hat, die Materialien können nicht mehr verkauft werden.
    Von mir aus kann man noch als Voraussetzung die Berufsstufe des Händlers dazupacken – z.B. beide Spieler brauchen Händlerstufe Lehrlingsstufe 1.

    @die Spieler die für No-Trade sind: Ich weiß ihr seid absolut gegen P2P-Trade wegen den Goldsellern. Falls diese Idee immer noch nicht akzeptable für euch ist, wäre es trotzdem schön wenn ihr dabei Helfen könnten eine Lösung dafür zu finden. Sodass beide Seite zufrieden sind.

    So wie ich das im Moment sehe wird das ein andauernder Konflikt bleiben. Falls Daum irgendwann sich dazu entscheidet den P2P-Trade zu aktivieren, geht ihr auf Barrikaden und es fängt wieder alles von vorne an. Lasst uns doch alle an einem Strang ziehen und gemeinsam an einer Lösung arbeiten.
     
    Cash Shop – P2W
    Ich hab mir über das Thema auch etwas Gedanken gemacht – auch hier geht es nicht um das G-Suit sondern um den Zuchtschein für Pferde.
    Nehmen wir an ein Spieler hat 2 T5 Pferde (etwas Arbeit die zu bekommen) nun kann der Spieler Pferde dank des Zuchtscheins endlos paaren und die Fohlen/ älteren Pferde immer wieder am Markt verkaufen ohne Limit. Dadurch bekommt der Spieler ein Haufen Silber fürs nichts tun...immer und immer wieder. Mit dem Silber kann er sich dann Endgame Ausrüstung oder sonstwas zulegen ohne dafür wirklich viel zu tun.
    Also im Prinzip kauft man sich Silber über den Cash-Shop.
    Ich weiß nicht ob das schon jemand aufgefallen ist.
    Lösung? Hab ich im Moment keine – mir ist das nur in den letzten Tage so aufgefallen.
     
    Vorschläge für Bosse
    Handwerksberufe und Bosse verschmelzen.
    Ein Beispiel:
    - Eine Riesen-Stein-Schildkröte als Boss
    X Spieler müssen mit Seilen den Boss zum Fall bringen. In diesem Fall jeweils X Spieler an einem Bein. (Diese Spieler brauchen vielleicht eine Ausbildungsstufe von Kenner 1)
    Sobald der Boss zu Fall gebracht wurde müssen andere Spieler auf den Boss klettern und mit einer Spitzhacke die Steine entfernen (Sammeln Kenner 1). Erst nachdem das gemacht wurde kann man DMG auf den Boss machen.

    Ich weiß nicht was noch für Bosse in Zukunft erscheinen werden, falls es das schon in Korea gibt ist das Thema auch schon durch.

  13. So, today, I did 3 world bosses, had a lot of fun, lost 50% of my exp bar, but that's not the point.
    Of those three, I did Red Nose once, and Dastard Bheg twice.
    On Red Nose, when we killed him, everybody in my channel who damaged the boss got loot. As long as you had damaged him before he died and were there when he died you got loot. No problems there, it was just like the scroll bosses in how loot was divvied up.
    I went into Dastard Bheg expecting this to happen there as well, but apparently that's not the case? Both times he dropped a total of 3 Liverto boxes, 2 weapons stones and a crystal, all split up into 6 different loot bags on the ground that were only lootable once, so whoever got there first got their loot. 
    Unsure if the loot mechanics are different for the different bosses but would like some clarification on this. Some people are saying it the party that did the most damage but when I was in Red Nose I got loot without being in a party.

    Habe ein paar Fragen zu diesem Thema und hoffe es hagelt hier nicht gleich Ohrfeigen für mich, konnte per Google leider nicht wirklich viel finden. (Forumsuche ist auch mit Haufen sinnlosen Threads zugemüllt)
    Bin nun Level 45 geworden und habe gelesen dass man ab da Quests für die Boss Schriftrollen vom Schwarzgeist bekommt. (Täglich oder Wöchentlich)
    Ich habe gelesen dass man, damit man die Quests bekommt, entweder in Calpheon oder Mediah*  sein muss. Ist das korrekt?
    Leider habe ich noch keine Quest erhalten. Bedeutet das ich habe irgendwie/irgendwo eine Questreihe des Schwarzgeistes vergessen? (Vor Lvl 45)
    Bekommt man Schriftrollen auch von anderen NPCs? (Quests)
    Weitere Infos die ich finden konnte:
    - Durchs Zusammenfügen von 5 Fragmenten erhaltet man auch eine Schriftrolle
    - Diese Fragmente erhaltet man durch Angeln oder Grinden

    [Update] Nachdem ich Lvl 48 erreicht hatte, bin ich nach Heidel zu meinem Lager und habe paar Sachen reingelegt. Nachdem ich es verlassen hatte kam auf einmal mein Schwarzgeist mit neuen Quests - kurz darauf bin ich nach Keplan zu meinem Lager und habe dort das selbe erlebt: nachdem Verlassen des Lagers meldete sich wieder mein Schwarzgeist. Alles erledigt nun. Es ist echt etwas ärgerlich wenn sowas "verbugt" ist. Was hat den mein Lager mit dem Schwarzgeist zu tun...
    Naja jetzt funktioniert es.

  15. It's a feature seen in games like dragon's dogma or shadow of the colossus, the abbility for you and your team to work in tandem to take down bosses in interesting ways. Being able to climb on the furry parts of a boss's back  to climb up to the head and hit the weakspot at the back of the neck or the eyeball etc.
    Your berserker could for example hold the beast's tail, your mage could encase the beast's feet in ice and pin it, whilst the warrior uses his shield as a springboard to launch the ranger into the air to grab hold of the boss and attack the head.
    The boss can also pick you up so your teammates need to aim carefully (hit the hand) to save you.
    Maybe bosses like flying griffons could knock you down with it's wing beats but be brought down itself by having your ranged characters aim at the wings.
     
    Kind of ambitious though..

  19. Guten Tag meine Mitspieler und Support von BDO!
    Ich habe die Quest vom Schwarzgeist erhalten, in der ich Org töten musste. Ich habe ihn also beschworen und es sofort bereut. Ich als Magier halte jdenfalls nicht viel aus und weiß, dass diese beschworenen Kreaturen sehr anspruchsvoll sind. Also sehr viel ausweichen ist angesagt. Habe auch all seinen Feuerangriffen sehr gut ausweichen können. BLOS Werde ich von Angriffen getroffen, wo keine sind. bin 6 mal gestorben. Zur Erörterung. Er zaubert viele Flammenkreise, die natürlich sehr schmerzhaft sind. Natürlich werde ich auch einmal getroffen. Doch wenn ich sichtlich 5 Meter von dem Äußeren Rand stehe, dann glaube ich wohlkaum, dass mich dieser noch treffen sollte. Ich wurde auch öfter getroffen, wenn er gerade seine normalen Feuerbälle wirkt (also noch nicht einmal abschießt). Ich habe es <ohne> ausweichen dann doch knapp geschafft. Einfach nur ein zwei angriffe und GAAAAANZ VIELE TRÄNKE, dann LAUFEN WAS DAS ZEUG HÄLT. und zwar an seiner seite vorbei bis man hinter ihm steht. dann wiederholen. Es kann nicht sein, dass man ausweicht (auch 2-3 Mal hintereinander umd Platz zu gewinnen) und dann doch von etwas getroffen wird, was nicht mal ansatzweise einen treffen sollte UND von angriffen getroffen zu werden, welche noch nicht mal abgeschossen wurden. Mann kann geradezu sagen: Ich laufe um den herum und werde von Unsichtbarren Angriffen erfasst. Ich bin nicht zufrieden mit dem Kampf. So wie ich am Ende knapp gewonnen habe, fühlte es sich nich wie ein Sieg an, sondern eher wie Ritt auf stürmischer See mit einem Schuhkarton als Boot.
    Habt ihr auch solche eine Situation gehabt? Ich habe zwar gewonnen, doch will ich mehr darüber erfahren und für andere diesen Kampf sogar überarbeitet sehen. Das war einfach nicht Benutzerfreundlich.

    so as we all know the PvE in BDO isnt quite perfect. Actually most games with this more-action-style-combat have this problem. Its more like a syndrome by this time. But its not really that bad. When it comes to mobs its actually pretty enjoyable. And do you know why? Because they die fast. But thats good. Thats why the action combat feels good, because the mobs die fast. You probably know where I'm heading.
    The problem with Bosses in BDO is that they are just sandbags. Its just epic looking but very boring mob with 1000 times more HP. Thats why the action style combat fails here. Its fun to kill hundreds of mobs with it but not if you stand on 1 place for 30 minutes just spamming random keys while drinking coffee waiting for reward(s).
    The problems
    -its not fun to stand on 1 place spamming keys mindlessly
    -its not fun to spam keys mindlessly
    -its not fun when the boss isnt hard at all, you bring enough potions to stay alive = win
    Solutions
    In the launch trailer we see a huge Rock Giant humanoid which is most likely World Boss and I immediately thought of all the amazing attacks, spells and techniques he wont use because Ive seen other bosses. (I know that the Dragon actually takes effort to kill before someone mentions him/it).
    My thoughts of how the fight with the boss should look like (which could be used as some sort of template for future bosses).
    - Group of players engages in combat with the Rock Giant. His basic attack would be: slamming the players with fists doing normal ammount of damage, kick (animations like kicking a ball) which would knockback 1 melee player that did the most damage to the boss last minute before the attack, rock throw (he would break a chunk of rock from his shoulder) and throw it at random range class player, doing AoE damage around the area, last basic attack would be huge kick where the boss would stomp the groung with 1 leg (doing the animation slowly as indication to players which could react to it), once landed it would knock back all players about 20 feet around the leg to greater distance (30-50 ft maybe). The animation would last long enough so players could react but not too long making them able to prepare lunch in the meanwhile
    - Special attacks: the boss would knee bend and breathe out sand from his mouth doing AoE damage in front of him while players would have to go behind or to the side of the boss to avoid damage. At 5% health he would start charging a spell so everyone would know whats coming: after the uninterruptable spell charge ends the boss would summon a sandstorm 150 ft around him, he would stay in the charging animation until the spell channeling (not charging!) is done which would end in 30 seconds, all players would have to hide in tents otherwise the DoT (damage over time) would kill them in 15 seconds. After that normal fight would occur untill the boss' death
    - from time to time he could accend a sand under random players causing a hydratation debuff which would apply DoT and slowly kill players until they would drink purificated water.
    -the spells wouldnt have to be extremly punishable so all players could join. There could be 2 version of it so when the world message of it spawning would appear it would state if its normal or hard version of it. Hard version would punish more for not reacting and would have same drops as normal version with higher drop rates and more silver awarded for killing + maybe 1 special item (customization? pet?) and a title ("<boss name> killer" for instance).
    This was quite long but I wonder if players would like this and if Devs would be willing to implement something like this. I know this feels more like other MMO bosses (WoW for instance) but a lot of western players enjoy these type of bosses.

  21. It would be helpful to have a party matching system that would allow players to team up for boss fights, quests, etc. where a little extra muscle or support would be helpful. A level synch function could be introduced when higher level players are joining lower level players or an exp penalty of some sort.

  23. I'm sure that everyone who has played either beta test noticed that the [Co-op] summoning bosses given by the black spirit and some NPCs are severely easy and somewhat lackluster. If these are the "bosses" for the PvE level advancement, they need to feel like bosses. First I want to go over general suggestions for all co-op bosses. Feel free to add to the suggestions.
    Boss HP should increase with everyone in the party by 133% per person. This means with a full 4 person team, it has 5X HP. I chose this over 4X because with more people, there will be others not being attacked that can focus on offense only.Give bonuses for having others help, whether silver, exp, or items. Right now, there is no reason to co-op for a co-op boss, especially when anyone can easily solo it.In general, all bosses should have increased HP.  Some are not much higher than, or even weaker than <violent> mobs.Many bosses in general are bland in that they are no more than an advanced normal mob (more explained below)*please add you own suggestions* 
    I will now go over my impressions of the bosses I fought in both CBT-1 and CBT2. I cant remember the names, so I will use general descriptions. In CBT-1, I fought them at or near the given quest level, but never fought #9 or #10. In CBT-2, I made an effort to be as low leveled as possible when fighting them.
    *disclaimer* The beta tests are the full extent of my knowledge of this game. I also might forget or have never ran into some of them.
    *Spoiler warning* I will be discussing bosses that I encountered. If you haven't gotten that far into questing, you may not have encountered them yet.

    So I was watching a few videos on raid bosses and I have to say that it does look a bit stale. Personally, I'm more a PvE kind of person and absolutely love to team up and fight large bosses. I actually played Vindictus for years and a little bit of ESO, but I decided to quit ever since BDO beta came out in Korea/Japan. So that's where I'm coming from when I talk about raiding (: Also, I have played the game a lot, but I have not been afforded the chance to PvE with a large group, so correct me if I am wrong on anything. Everything written here is in my own opinion.
    Here are some things that I have noticed:
    Sometimes, the groups are too large
    Sometimes the raids have too many people. 30 people for one boss is a lot in my opinion (others may like it). It's no problem if it's an open world boss (that's the beauty of open world games), but if it's some kind of structured boss I fight, I think the amount of players available to fight it should be limited.  One thing I would like to say though is that I like the idea of having Guild Raid bosses and Open World bosses. It gives people the chance to gather as many people or as little people as they want to take it down. The loot should be randomized for each player though. 
    There is too little emphasis on teamwork
    It seems like when you're fighting, you are just doing your own and thing and spamming attack, while the tank just aggros everything. I feel like a boss should take teamwork to take down imo. There's lots of things you can do. For example, if the boss happens to stay in the same place for a while, why not 4 other people get on the side of him and equip some kind of lasso hook or chains to hold him down while the others attack him, until it breaks. Kind of like this. Or have one class or player have the ability to use a lasso-type thing, but it would still be possible, albeit a little harder, to defeat without it. Another thing would be like if the boss is pulling energy from some kind of totem or crystal, why not break it to weaken him/her. Honestly, I think they can do a lot more especially with a game of this scale.
    Also these bosses should not have to aggro on one person. The aggro should be completely randomized so that the rangers or wizards, get hit too. Like, "in reality" a monster would be after anyone he could get his hands on. And they should be getting hit hard or as hard as the boss is, so that the witches/wizards have people to heal.
    It would be nice to have more variety in boss animations
    From what I've watched, it seems like a lot of the guild raid bosses, for the most part, remain stationary. They don't really move around a lot. So I'm just suggesting that have different boss animation for different kinds of bosses. Maybe something like a boss that goes underground a lot, a boss that is super fast and spawns adds or a boss that cloaks itself at times and teleports frequently. To me, it adds to the challenge. It would also be nice if the bosses had different stages where they get more powerful as you deal more damage. But, they should not up the difficulty buy just adding hp, but by adding more attacks, intelligent AI, animations, debuffs, etc.
    Different kinds of world boss areas
    It would be nice if some world bosses had their own kind of lair/area within the open world. For example, you could grab your friends or some guildies and enter a cave, go through tunnels, go over traps and then get to an open area where the boss would lie. There could be a few times where you had the choice to take different paths and if you went the wrong way you'd have to fight some mini boss or something like that. They could do this with a variety of settings; not just caves.
     
     
    I don't know how much influence the NA team has in forwarding others' suggestions, but ultimately it's up to the developers in Korea to make the change.
