    Atm are just rumours about it and we want clarification about it.

    Did PA add them without knowing about the 5/week limit?

So today i went to go buy some daum and it keeps saying my cards getting declined i tried with paypal a few times and then i tried just the typing your credit card info payment way and this still got declined there doesnt seem to be any issue's on my end i have money and the bank hasnt put any holds on transactions, ive bought daum previously on this same card so i dont know what the problem is

    Bonjour Bonsoir tout le monde! Je ne sais pas vraiment où poster ceci... néanmoins, j'ai comme  l'envie de le faire malgré tout. 
    Alors voilà, les tenues pour femmes, sont simplement affligeantes, les tenues pour hommes, plus ou moins extraordinaires (le chevalier est clairement superbe dans la plupart de ses costumes) Alors.... pourrions nous avoir des costumes, nous femelles primitives (^.^) moins aguicheuses, et un peut plus correctes, ou l’optique d'avoir une armure convenable sans les cuisses à l'air est perdue d'avance ici? ...
    Je m'explique!  :
    Prenons l'exemple tout simple de la Valkyrie... nous sommes d'accords sur le fait, qu'une Valkyrie représente l'élite militaire de l'armée Ellioniste... BON! les mecs, mettons leurs les cuisses à l'air, c'est plus vendeur!
    Un autre exemple, comparez simplement les tenues masculines, aux féminines dans la boutique, par exemple. Vous verrez vite la différence, les armures masculines, ou simplement tenues, sont véritablement adéquats pour faire un personnage digne de se nom, de ce que je sais, aucun personnage masculin porte une armure les fesses à l'air... ha oui, c'est moins vendeur, pardon... (^.^)
    Alors... s'il vous plait, faites un effort sérieux sur les allures féminines, les personnages devrait pouvoir être égaux, là clairement, j'ai l'impression qu'on devrait faire une réclamation féministe-extrême pour avoir un personnage potable... sans qu'il est une allure aguicheuse, voir, sincèrement vulgaire... la tenue ninja pour femme, le filet aux seins...ou le costume karstein très élégant sur homme, sur femme, il y à des collants... des collants avec une culotte de cuir par dessus... non mais... HEY un pantalon suffisait pas là sérieusement? un peut d'allure je sais pas...  rhooo... s'il vous plait, faite quelque chose à ce stade. (je ne met pas tous les exemples, amusez vous à fouiller la boutique aux tenues, cherchez un peut vous même, et faite moi des Screenshots si celà vous choque plus ou moins?)
    J'ai discutée quelque peut avec certains joueurs (hommes/femmes, là n'est pas la question) et visiblement je ne suis pas la seule à voir, que le côté aguicheur devient vulgaire... regardez les autres MMO, je suis désolée, mais il y à une opportunité de faire des personnages féminins, sans forcément avoir l'air d'une... "fille facile" dirais-je poliment. BDO à un potentiel extraordinaire... faite en bon usage, le marketing est clairement catastrophique à ce sujet. 
     
    Pour finir, je ne dis pas que quelques tenues aguicheuses ne sont pas les bienvenues, loin de là. Mais de là à voir d'autres classes, clairement avantagées niveau style, et nous le cul à l'air pour affronter un bon gros troll... je demande pas un skin de nonne... mais à ce stade, faite moi une tenue de papesse et on en parle plus? 
     
    Voilà, j'espère ne pas avoir était trop agressive, ou simplement hors de propos. Mais je me sent frustrée à l'idée de ne pouvoir faire, au moins une guerrière à fière allure, surtout quand je matte les armures du guerrier...houuu la jalouse!
    En vous remerciant d'avoir pris le temps de lire. Et un bon jeu à vous, petits et grands, oreilles pointues ou rondes. 
  4. I thought A snake would be a good choice as a pet. You could have desert snakes that up hold equivalent bonuses as desert foxes. You can also have "Garden Snakes & black Snakes" that up hold similar bonuses as cats. 

    P.S. this Ideas is very basic and off a whim, but I'm sure with further elaboration this could flourish.

    Has anyone here ever experienced that horse skill training coupons didn't work? I trained sprint on a T7 and after completion, nothing had changed. I was sure it was a bug but I just got a reply from a gm that it is supposed to be RNG? Although it states on the ticket that after training the skill will be up to 100%. I used them before and I always got a 100% skill in return. This is a surprise and not the good kind. 
    It is not like wasting 2 euro is going change my life but I do fill tricked into buying something that isn't what it says it is. And after the ghilly suit debacle and the selective refund policy, I have to say, I am not a happy customer anymore. Still love the game but I think will avoid the cash shop for a while and use my monthly game budget on something else.

  7. How much is the cashshop items going to be worth with in game currency?
    example $30usd costume = 30 million silver? when does this patch come into play?
    no one' going to sell anything in the cashshop if their not even going to get their moneys worth.
    30 million silver is not even worth the price of boss armor! its not even counting enchanting and buying more pieces to enhance it.
    pretty much your wasting money for not even half the chance to be better then any one. the people who put these items on the AH are literally already the best  player in game and will be the riches and they haven't spent a dime.
  8. This is what I said about the new update for the Cash Shop and further down explains my thoughts as a community how we can improve the game and not by saying "p2w" all the time like how a pokemon speaks or Hodor.
    With this change to were real money items can be sold on the market for silver should not be implemented because there is no work in-game to get silver then. If you have a job with extra money, spend a ton of cash shop items then sell it on the market. You just gained a shit ton of silver without playing the game basically. Keep how the cash shop how it is. Traveler package is just a mix of shit already on the cash shop in one bundle. I don't see this as pay to win since it is not giving you silver right off the bat. Now all items can if you sell them off the market. Tera did this and if you are going to keep this new system just do not have it were people can trade silver for items outside of market place. There will probably duplication of those items, trolling other players out of their money, and many more issues. After looking back at Tera with the similar system, it was alright but keep restriction to it or it will be a broken mechanic and the game would truly be pay to win.
    Please have major limits on it or if it fails just remove it because it is just fine without that.
    People just assume it is pay to win when they here real money and items in the same sentence but give no reason for it. For the community, if you think it is a pay to win mechanic, explain thoroughly on why it is pay to win so the company can take that into consideration. People complain how it is pay to win and what we got is this system where the cash shop items can be on the market for in game silver. This was the ones who cried p2w and this system adds where the cash shop items can be bought with in-game silver so not everyone has to use real money to buy a costume...
    Seriously, again community explain on the reasoning if it is pay to win and solution to it. Subscriptions will not change anything but have us pay more. Paying for the game itself then a sub on top does not bring more players but make players turn away from it however the ones who dedicated their life to it will stay, just like wow. Even WoW has real money cash shop and has an item that boosts players to max level. I am just saying that the iconic mmo everyone knows, you will need to buy a copy of it with subscription plus there again real money cash shop with legitimate p2w items like i said about the max level boost.
    Explain your reasoning on why you think it is bad, good, p2w, etc, and explain how they it can be better. No one is doing this so they are trying to get a gist of what people are saying and again they came up with this mechanic so everyone can have cash shop items through in-game currency. They are listening to us but we are giving shitty responses were they have to interpenetrate what we are complaining about and guess how to fix it. 
    As a community lets give ideas for improvement by not saying "it is p2w" and hope for the best, that won't fix anything.
  9. With the announcement in mind, I wonder how drastic the game will change in the next two months.
     
    I know the economy will be catastrophic for awhile, since everyone and their mom with a wallet will be able to buy those rare ogre rings (instead of a small few)
     
    But I'm thinking long term. I assume they are ramping up the F2P announcement which would offset the people who quit the game in disgust and most guilds will go through some serious reconstruction. New guilds will come out of the smoke with some gear and a new will to be on top. Node wars will be way more unbalanced now.
     
    Grind spots will be more contested because of
    1.Influx of f2p players
    2.You can now buy value packs with ingame money
    3. More GvG for grind spots for players that can't afford to P2W
     
    Thoughts? I'm just spitballing here, curious to see how things will play out.

    So, I noticed that for some reason every other class has 4 or 5 glasses options, but for some reason Ninja only gets one? This isn't game breaking or anything, obviously, but does leave me somewhat wondering. 
    I mean...Why? Kunoichi has all the glasses option, and they were released at the same time, so that leaves me a bit confused... 
  11. Hello everyone! today i bring the BDO community a suggestion, if you think this is a suggestion you could get behind, feel free to like and +1, if you dont like the suggestion thats ok, feel free give me your feedback and/or a way to improve the system i am suggesting
    - make outfits, and things cosmetic, have like a trial for maybe 5 hours or less, with no bonuses from what it gives, and have you only be able to have a trial on that item once. i just think this would be a good thing so people can be sure as to what they want to purchase before spending pearls on it
    - i believe this would be a good addition to the game, because i believe that previewing something in the cash shop just isnt enough to see if you would TRULY like it, in my opinion i believe to get a real feel for the outfit or cosmetic item we need to see our character run/walk/combat with it on, that way we can check for clipping, or to see if looks good or odd when we fight or move around, and we can see how well it dyes. a bit more indepth on my suggestion, i'd like an addition of a trial system, this will allow, 5 hours or less, for you have a free trial with any cosmetic item, when in the free trial, you do not get any bonus that the item might have with it, it will be only cosmetic, in this free trial time frame, you can dye it, combat and etc. after this free trial is over, it will be removed from your character and returned to the cash shop, you can only have 1 trial per cosmetic item
    - i believe this will help not only players to make more informed purchases, it will also reduce the amount of refunds that Daum has to deal with, since people will be able to trial the item before purchase
    - i purchased the atanis outfit for my musa yesterday, and i looked at it in the preview window and thought, i changed positions of the character, i then bought it, after buying it, i could tell i made the wrong purchase, it did not dye well in the way i wanted, it's clipping when i did certain animations in combat bugged me, and the heavy armor look just did not look fitting for a fast and agile musa

    this is a idea i had for the hole time, if we had a currency we could grind up to exchange it into pearls at the shop people would stop to complain they look like a pesant
    it would make the shop look way better as everyone would have  the chance to get something they like, and having a grindable currency wouldnt make just buying the pearls any less atractive as it would just heavely speed up the process of getting something.
    wildstar already uses this system and it works great you dont get them to fast neighter to slow, you just play the game and have always something to work on between big content patches
    so personaly i think this would make Black Desert Online's shop a hole lot more "fairer",as you do get stats with the outfits and the guily suit it wouldnt be overpowerd or pay2win as you can get it yourself without spending around 30$....or more
    I realy hope the devs conssider this idea.

  15. It would be very nice to have a life skill transfer item (could be cash shop item) that allows you to transfer a single life skill from one character on your account and server, to another. This would allow us to move life skills to alts or new mains, and make you money...

  17. Now that I've had some time to cool off regarding my previous rant about the dye system; I thought I'd try to be constructive. I'm drafting this primarily as a proposal, but I really want community feedback as well (along with any staff; official and personal opinions both very much welcome)
    <Long marketing pitch>
    Most people I've talked to in game seem to agree that the dye system is horrible, and cosmetic options are limited. They would like to purchase cosmetics, but see the customization of it lacking, and therefor opt to save their money by not purchasing pearls, or purchasing less pearls and only spend them on functionality and convenience offerings, rather than cosmetic.
    The goals of my suggested change are as follows: Reduce customer frustration (mostly generated by the RNG dye system, and lack of customization within cosmetic outfit offerings), generate stable long-term cashflow via re-occuring purchases, increase the attractiveness of the cosmetic system to existing and future customers, and reduce the buyers-remorse that greatly diminishes repeat purchases.
    There are multiple systems that will allow for these goals to be reached, that are planned out to allow for easy expansion of the paid cosmetic offerings along with sustaining customer investment in the cosmetic system. At the end I will also suggest a method of improving the cosmetic item variety, therefor more customization, and thus increasing the attractiveness of the cosmetic system to customers. To meet the goal of sustaining cashflow for Daum and making this change look attractive for them to implement; I'll be focusing on a subscription model such as the one employed by the Korean publishers, rather than a one-time payment. This stability and consistency in cashflow should more than compensate for the people who would spam dye boxes. A subscription model implemented properly will likely result as a percentage curve from a function of players taking into account disposable income and purchase history. This should allow for a gentle buildup and a sustained revenue stream opposed to the sporadic purchases made currently, and will also allow for a more direct and easily measurable prediction of subscription cashflow, opposed to the hit-and-miss trend-guessing of the one-time payment model. (to be clear, I'm talking about the in-game purchases within the cosmetic system not game sales)
    </Long marketing pitch>
    SHORT VERSION HERE -> some ideal payment models for a better cosmetic system that benefit the users, and Daum.
    Example subscription types:
     
    Whole Subscription
    A monthly subscription which gives access to cosmetics (inspired by the Korean version, with a suggested $10~20 USD for that good old fashioned 'premium' feel). Whether this be just for dyes, or items as well is entirely up to the implementation. Of course, if the subscription is ended the cosmetics purchased by it should become unusable (and auto un-equip on loading, etc).
     
    Point Distribution Subscription
    Possibly in various tiers, customers can purchase a set number of points which they can spend going directly to the cosmetics of their choice. So let's say a customer goes for a 10 point subscription service, they could choose to spend 2 points towards the sections of the dye pallet they want, maybe 5 points for a complete set of some costume, and a few more points towards weapon skins or eye glasses. This also allows for a loyalty-type system, where if they stay subscribed consecutively they get additional points. This will promote stability in long term subscription purchases. For example, for every consecutive month subscribed +2 points to a maximum of x (x likely corresponding to a dollar value Daum is willing to hypothetically forfeit in monthly revenue for sustained stability).
     
    Per-Item Subscription
    Assign a dollar value to each cosmetic item / dye / pallet segment / whatever implementation(s) is chosen. Have the customer add items to their custom subscription bundle, and purchase as previously mentioned. More stuff, more money. Flexible. Exactly what they want at a price they can budget. This also allows for a loyalty-type program as mentioned in the point version, where the user could gain credit to put towards additional items and build their subscription.
     
    Mixture
    A mixture of subscription types. Perhaps X dollars for all cosmetic outfits with point tiers for dyes, or vise-versa. Example: $15 base charge for all cosmetic outfits, 5pts $3, 10pts $5, 20pts $8, where the largest points bundle is simply a "all dyes/textures" bundle. Or, other way around, all dyes for base cost and extra for points to be spent on outfits. Note, due to this combination with the point subscription, its also able to be implemented with a loyalty type system.
    ----------------
    Final personal remarks:
    The dye system as it stands is an epic failure in the eyes of the community. You may have noticed I wasn't very direct in what I was suggesting, and just throwing out options. The truth is, I don't really care what you do - so long as you do something. Maybe not what I suggested, but hopefully I gave some ideas. We want to give you money and not hate you after we do, so we can give you more. Let us! I hope this reaches the eyes of someone who can take what I'm suggesting to heart. I'm attempting to point out how positive this can be for Daum, and I hope it didn't come across as condescending or insulting as that was not my intention. Thank you for reading.

    additional notes:
    All dyes being available to the user opens up a UI simplification, as there can be a color tab and a 'texture' tab. Whether this is an entire texture-system redesign or simply a look-up table to the corresponding dye, is up how much time the developers want to put in.
    To increase item variety, take a note from CSGO and other Valve games. Let the community do the work (we want to). Allow the community to create meshes and textures, and create a way for people to vote for their favorites, and have the ones approved by staff / artists get put into the next patch as a workflow addition. Or, just a submission and staff-judge contest. Hold one every few months, or just when its needed for example if the cosmetic variety begins to become stagnant or number of subscriptions tends down.

    Überarbeitet bitte das System mit den Pferdetalent-Änderungsscheinen.
    Ich habe viel geld in das Ändern von Pferdetalenten gesetzt weil ich natürlich das schnellste und beste Pferd haben möchte, aber wenn ich schon soo viel Geld da reinsetze, sollte die chance ein talent zu erhalten erhöht werden.
    Ich finde es gut, dass man kein direktes Talent auswählen kann und seine Hoffnung in ein Talent setzen kann mit der Chance, dass gewünschte Talent zu erhalten aber es sollte ein Cap geben mit dem es garantiert klappt wenn schon für ein einziges Talent über 30-40 Euro setzt. Irgendwann sollte auch schluss sein mit dem Glücksspiel. Es verlockt viel zu leicht für 2,50 Euro die Talente unendlich oft zu ändern und am Ende mit teilweise über 25 Hoffnungspunkten immernoch nicht das Talent zu haben. In vielen Foren habe ich Beschwerden darüber gelesen, Spieler geben über 50 Euro für Talentänderung aus und selbst weit drüber hinaus hat man NIE die Garantie. Wo ist die Grenze? Ist das von BDO genau so gewollt? für mich ist das einfach nur abzocke. Wenn man so etwas anbietet, sollte es einfach eine Obergrenze mit der Hoffnung geben an der es garantiert klappt. Selbst wenn es 30 Hoffnungpunkte sind. 30 Hoffnungspunkte wären 75 Euro für ein einziges Talent.
    Was sagt die Community dazu ?

    eventuell gab es solch einen Vorschlag schonmal.
    Meine Idee ist es eine günstigere Alternative zu bestehenden Kostümen in den Cashshop einzufügen die keine Effekte haben, sondern lediglich kosmetisch sind.
    Preise sollten in etwa der hälfte des normalen Preises entsprechen, also etwa 1500 Perlen für ein komplettes Set mit Waffen und 1000-1200 für nur Rüstung.

     
  21. The game is coming to it's second month of being released and we still do not have the ability to trade beyond potions and food. This is such a great game that it should not be buckled down by the fear of RMT people.
    Make a cash shop item for us to trade. It is horrible that it comes to this, but I am willing to pay Daum a ransom for a normal trade feature.
    I am no longer overly concerned with what restrictions are put on the items traded as long as we could finally trade them.

I posted this in suggestions, but thought here might get some better press.  Basically all other classes can get 3 costume accessories, where we only get 2.  This means that other classes have a twice as likely chance to get higher ranked mob knowledge compared to us.  I know it's not that big a deal, but it's annoying that even the brand new class gets them before us.  Some say the effect doesn't stack, but I have heard otherwise from guild members from kr and jp.  Please Daum give us the same as the other classes

    Und auch nicht sicher ob ich das, was ich gekauft habe, nun nutzen soll oder doch lieber mein Geld gern zurück hätte.

    Ich habe mir das Waffen und Kostüm Set Bern gekauft
    Und ich dachte das ich diese Boni auf der Rüstung so gut wie immer habe, da im Cashshop ja nichts zu sehen ist von "7 tage gültig"
    Ist das jetzt wahr? nach 7 tage is die Rüstung nur noch "deko" ?
    Wenn es so wäre, warum steht dann nichts davon im Cash shop? Warum erfährt man dies dann NACH dem kauf?

    Ich finde es ein wenig schade das bei dem Krieger alle Schild Kostüme im aktivierten Kampf modus in die Textur des Beines gehen- bei 30€ sollten solche Fehler nicht vorhanden sein. Zudem ist das Schild bei dem Bern Kostüm egal auf welche Grafik Einstellungen bei bestimmten Wetter Verhältnissen total verpixelt... Wodurch ich den Kauf schon ein wenig bereue...     This game is beautiful, intense, fun, and sparks the imagination in so many ways. It is without the possibility of a rival in today's game market, due to how amazing, and simply massive the world is...
    And now the issue!
    ...You're killing it for those of us who aren't here to have a single player experience. We cannot help each other, cannot support our guild mates, or our family members. Your overzealous pursuit of gold sellers is the cause of many, many issues. So, I've made a list of things that /need/ to be fixed.
     
    - Trading. Find a way to make it possible. 
    Perhaps make it so that you have to be in a certain level guild, or have a character above level 35. Just make it possible, so that we have the option of helping our friends, or even giving a present to someone. I don't buy into MMOs to play alone, very few people do. You also prevent there from being an alternative to paying exorbitant fees on the market. If you want to follow your own lore set up about the merchant guilds, one suggestion might be that people must purchase a "trade license" in order to trade with other players, and it must be renewed every so often. 
     
    -Cash Shop Gifting, give it back!
    This was taken away from us in the zealous pursuit of "gold seller" type folk. By taking this away, you're letting them win in other ways. They've successfully made so much of this game unplayable for more casual people. We want this feature back. I had plans to offer up pearl shop rewards for a writing contest that I've worked pretty hard on designing, and now there's absolutely NO WAY to reward someone in-game, for participating in it. You've not only limited me in a game manner, now I cannot even spend my real life money on this.
     
    Those are really the two most important things. I'm sure there are others that could be added, but if those two things are fixed, it will vastly improve the experience this game provides for those of us who are not necessarily hardcore into playing alone.
