ihr seid mindestens 15 Jahre alt und sucht eine aktive Gilde die sich auch auf Teamspeak trifft statt nur im Chat zu lesen ist,
    dann bewirb dich beim GC-Clan

  3.  ||Apply to Join|| * ||Roleplay Policy|| * ||PVP Policy|| * ||Guild Campaign|| WE ARE A ROLEPLAY - PVX GUILD!  PvE/PvP - All players are welcome.

"We talk the path of power, unafraid and unshaken by the masses driven before us. The Iron Circle. We are unbreakable. We shall not be denied. Greatness is our destiny and the glory that comes with the slaying of the savages who threaten Calpheon will be our ultimate reward." ~ Warpriest Tahril, Keeper of the Faith.
Maybe you're in it for the coin. Maybe it's the excitement. Maybe, just maybe, it's because you know you'll be pushed beyond your limits and brought to a moment when you must either destroy your weaknesses utterly or be broken. It's inconsequential. The Iron Circle calls to you. Those who join the guild are trained in well-guarded techniques, stances and disciplines. As a result, they tend to think and act differently than other adventurers. The Circle's full-blooded members are relentless huntsmen of the battlefield, often singling out and isolating individual enemies before joining to quickly destroy their chosen target. Then the process begins anew... The mindset of an Iron Circle mercenary is that of a ravenous wolf in battle - single out a foe and overwhelm him utterly.

It should be noted that outside of Calpheon and some areas in Media the Iron Circle is not a well liked or trusted organization. In many territories across the region, the locals may outright be hostile to one openly displaying guild colors. Proceed with caution, good aligned characters - your morals and ethics may be bent, and you will have to make hard choices. Members can be of any denomination, religion or alignment, but as the nature of the Iron Circle is, the life of a full-blooded member is one that can tax the soul and challenge an adventurer's perception of right and wrong.

Recruitment is done all throughout Calpheon and Media - the guild, however, is confined to Calpheon and it's outlying lands. Infrequently contacts in Media and other regions far outside of the boundaries of these war-torn countries may contact the Iron Circle and recruits will be brought across the sea as well.

"Your service in the Iron Circle has rendered you immune to fear and supremely confident. You will fearlessly stampede across the battlefield, sprinting from foe to foe in a blood-spattered carnage. You know when to get stuck in for the long haul. Once you've got hold of your target, you will relentlessly tear into him until there is nothing left - a manifestation of our brutal desires. Softer men will hide behind their defenses when faced with an onslaught of our Iron Legionnaires. You will not give them this mercy. Each and every one of you has trained for years in gruelling conditions, a brutal regime that has caused you to adapt an uncanny level of agility and acrobatic prowess even under heavy loads - you will effortlessly bound over traps, slip past barricades and, barring any act of divine intervention, smash straight through to get to our enemies. Do not fail me. That is the only warning you will receive." ~ Ridrith Mavewyn, Iron Warlord.
It is expected that everyone in the guild to be able to handle mature content. As can be expected from the theme of the guild – a group of mercenaries who will take whatever measures necessary to defend Calpheon and make a fortune in the process – The Iron Circle will go over some dark stuff. Drug use, sexuality, gore and the like would not be unusual. It’s much closer to say that we encourage a more dark/macabre atmosphere than your usual roleplaying guild. Whereas the typical fantasy RP guild is comparable to a Forgotten Realms novel, we are much closer to George R. R. Martin and R. Scott Baker. If you are comfortable with them, then chances are you would do well with the Iron Circle. However, if you find the darker side of humanity to be something you are not comfortable with, then the Iron Circle is not for you. It should be noted that we are NOT an 'evil' guild, good and evil are subjective terms and should be treated as such.

As we have mentioned in the opening paragraph, the Iron Circle is not your usual run of the mill guild. There are individual characters that, ICly, just would not work well with us. The childishly naïve, the simple minded, and those whose only purpose is to be comic relief are a few examples. When thinking of joining us, ask yourself this: “If my character was alive in the Middle Ages, is it likely that he/she would join a group of highly trained and disciplined mercenaries who swear no allegiance to any individual nation or faction but their own." If your answer is no, then this is not the guild for your character.

"By pierced heart or decimated flesh, victory will be ours!" - Roaring Spears Mantra.
The Iron Circle is going to be taking part in PvP, given the nature of Black Desert Online, it's actually going to be one of the primary focuses for the guild outside of roleplaying. Members are expected to take part in PvP events or to be prepared to assist allied guilds. We will have a KoS (Kill on Sight) listed on our forums for enemy guilds and well-known griefers/bandits, etc. We do have a code of conduct, however, so please keep that in mind when joining. We are not a ganking guild. We are not a bandit guild. With that in mind though should we come across a group who acts outside of our code of conduct or is well known for causing grief to roleplayers and non-roleplayers alike, we'll just simply ignore it and take care of business.

    Code of Conduct:

No Griefing. Griefing is defined as the continued ganking and killing of an enemy combatant, especially one that is obviously not your match in PvP. "They were doing it to me" is not justification for us doing it. This is a cycle of frustration and ill will towards the gaming community that we do not need to perpetuate.

No Corpse Camping. Kill and move on. Killing enemies at a resurrection point is a dishonorable and obnoxious practice, do not do it. We're looking to foster a community filled with friendly competition and fairness.

Honor your enemies as you honor your allies. Avoid disrespectful behavior towards enemy combatants. This includes spitting emotes, taunting or any other behavior designed to demean and insult. You represent our guild not only to our faction but those on the other continent as well.

Allow your enemies to flee in fear, if the enemy is making an apparent attempt at escaping or simply aren't looking for a fight then enable them to do so. If they look like they're merely waiting around for the 'right' time to jump into a fight when the odds are stacked against you or your group, destroy them without mercy.

"Joining the Iron Circle means becoming more than the sum of your parts. Your comrades bleed with you, fight with you and may even cross blades with you. You fight as a pack of wolves, or a pride of lions, and concert your efforts." ~ Legionnaire Ruhk.

All of our Guild Campaigns will focus on various plot aspects, with one overarching storyline playing into the current arch of the campaign. Much of our story will come from interaction with other guilds through trade agreements, escort missions and other jobs, but also the day-to-day needs and pressures the different nations face.

At the end of each story, we will conclude and then write a short summary covering the build-up, the major aspects and the major players of each. This we hope will tell the story of our characters and our guild in an easy to read, organized fashion. We don't plan on creating page after page of expanded mythos or lore, we want a compact storyline that is easy for new members to follow so that they can easily throw their own  characters into the mix.

Guild and community campaign events will be organized and run by one of our guild Game Masters (GM) who will work in tandem with guild officers and those participating in the event to create a fun story experience for all. During these events, the GM will act as the mediator during conflicts and will act as the primary storyteller throughout the event. The Iron Circle guild also makes liberal use of die rolling systems and character sheets during many of our events, because this an ongoing campaign we believe it's an easy, not to mention a fun way of seeing your character progress throughout our many planned storylines and events.
  4. At this point, I'm sure everyone who has a reasonable brain is getting tired of all the bullshit that's been going on with everyone arguing like a bunch of fucking hillbillies about PvE and PvP. Let's just put an end to it once and for all. I don't even care if I get banned, warned, or anything, because I believe this to be the right thing for the community.
Alright. I was hovering around the forums, and all I see are a bunch of posts PvE VS PVP OMG PVE IS GOD PVP STUPID or something. You know... Forums shouldn't be like this, but you know what? Sadly they always are. The community for every game has it's garbage people, and members. However, I believe that at least 80% of the community fighting over what is better, PvE or PvP are on the same side. What do we all want most? For BDO to succeed. If you don't want that, then get the fuck outta here. If you do, then stop FUCKING ARGUING. We're all trying to prove how the other 'side' is worthless, when we're missing the main point. We're ALL on the same god damn side. We all want the same thing, the success of Black Desert Online. You dumb goats arguing with each other over "PVP IS GOD PVE IS FOR CEAR BERS" are missing the main point here. Important: I'm not saying EVERYONE is like this, but I'm pretty sure at least 40-50% of the community is.

I know a lot of people who aren't stupid, and actually care about the game, such as Ellie, Locket, FLiP, and a bunch of others. All these people are dedicated into making the game better, while the rest of you dumb-asses are sitting there typing about how PvE is for carebears, and how BDO is a PvP only game. Not sure how many times I'm going to have to say this, but get it through your damn heads: We are ALL on the same side. There should be at most ONE or TWO posts about something like that, from trolls. The rest should be constructive feedback. I saw a post that Ellie made, and then people are just posting fucking tl;dr memes on an important subject. If it's too long and you didn't read, then you have no right to be posting on it. Thank god Oli removed that garbage, because it certainly deserved to be removed. I'm hoping this message got through all you people, and I hope it made you understand that we're all aiming for the same goal, and that BDO is a game for ALL the community, not just PvP'ers, or PvE'ers. This is a community game, and it's about damn time the community got along.

Oh yeah... One more thing. For all of you guys who are gonna say tl;dr, even though this wasn't even long at all-
tl;dr: Stop being stupid and arguing over dumb things. We're all aiming for the same objective here- For BDO to be successful.

I hope you have a non-garbage day. Hopefully it's nothing like mine.   Also, hope you enjoyed the read. Now... goodbye.

  6.
    Hey everyone, hello Daum Devs,

I recently started posting in this forum and asked some things about the game. I also watched some hours of (actual) gameplay from BDO and read many reviews. So everything I'm saying here is not based on personal experience, but based on the impression I got about this game through all the sources I have just mentioned. So the following tiny list is the impresssion I have right now:
BDO is a very stylized game with incredible good grafics for a MMORPGBDO is very fast pacedBDO has a good crafting systemBDO will have alot of PvP opportunitiesBDO offers sandbox elementsBDO has a large map without any loading screensBDOs combat system is quite simple, more or less spamming your attack in mobbed enemy groupsBDO doesn't offer a good enemy AI, most enemies will just run straight into your sword (or whatever)BDO doesn't have (much) endgame content (dungeons, bossmonsters) and fights tend to not get much tougher compared to fights at level 1BDO isn't build around partying with other playing (like having raids with many players or with a small group)Please excuse me if I forgot anything in that list, I'm pretty sure it's possible to make a much more detailed list. But those are things that are at least important to me.
While the first 6 impressions are really good, they got outweighted by the 4 impressions that are bold (at least if PvE is very important to you). As you can see, they are all about PvE. I think especially in the western community, PvE is a REALLY important aspect of the game. Successful MMORPGs like Final Fantasy 14, World of Warcraft or Guild Wars 2 are good examples, that PvE is quite important. Those games emphasize partying with other players and planning big raids with dozens (if not hundreds) of players. You can only do some of the stuff when having a party or being part of a raid. And this gives you the opportunity to get some awesome items and other stuff you would never be able to get when playing solo. Why is this so important?
Community: Well, I think the most important thing is that the community feels connected. Achieving something as a group feels always good and it gives you a reason to communicate with others besides trading and PvP. It also helps meeting new people, giving you more reasons to keep playing, because you feel connected to the world and the community that lives within that world. Variety: Another point is, that combat must feel exciting. Don't get me wrong. Just from looking at the videos I had the urge to play BDO. Like I mentioned, it is a very stylized game and looks really badass. The animations are gorgeous, the characters and armors look awesome and the attacks feel very heavy. You can literally feel the impact of each attack you throw at your enemies. And I think this part of the combat is perfectly fine, if not much better compared to other games. What this game is lacking though is, that enemies feel unique. They all seem to be quite brainless and just rush to the player and ask to be smashed into the ground. While this Hack'n Slay will be fun at first, it will feel quite boring at some point and I think many players will be bored then. I think it is very important that different enemies have different combat behavior. Like rushing to you, trying to surround you as a group, having unique movement sets, or for example using abilities to get behind you.Motivation: Furthermore, the player must have a goal. Why should I keep leveling? Why should I get much better items? Ofc it is important for PvP, but shouldn't there be a boss I can only kill with a certain level, equipment and with the help of others? Why should I do Bossmonster X the 100th time? Because it gives me the item I want so badly because it buffs my character so good. Why should I plan raids or form a party? Because it enables me to do certain dungeons. The Why's are very important. The less Why-Questions a player must ask himself, the less motivation he will feel to do something, especially repeating something over and over again. I played many hours Guild Wars 2 and I did alot of bossmonsters over and over again, just to get a legendary item (never had the luck to get one though). Exploration: A good PvE system also emphasize exploration in a game. For example, if different enemy types have different loot (for example an Orc from a certain region drops a very powerful axe for Berserks from time to time), it is good to look out for those enemies and probably farm them. This makes it worth learning all about different enemies and what they drop and it gives every enemy it's own purpose. Ragnarok Online is a very good exmaple of how to make every enemy unique in its own thanks to the loot and the enemy behavior. For example, every enemy has it's own card which you can insert in a weapon or armor slot (for example: soldier skeletons drop a soldier skeleton card which you could put into your weapon and that gave you +8 crit chance). The uniqueness of enemies in Ragnarok Online wasso good, that I literally knew all about every monster (stats, dropchances from loot, weaknesses etc.). The same goes for worldbosses, which spawn randomly on certain maps/areas and can be found and killed. Some boss monsters were killable by one player alone (only if the quipment was good) and some others were so strong, that you were forced to stick together with other players. So far so good. So what should be done? I know that if you take a look at what I have written just now, it would require alot of work if you want to change those aspects significantly. But on the other side, it would make the game much more attractive to many players from the western community. At least I think so.
    My suggestions are:
Add areas with monsters that should be approached by partys. The player should be able with decent level/equipment to kill those enemies by himself, but it would be MUCH easier to do it in a partyAdd raids that should be approached by many players, maybe multiple guilds working together to achieve one single goal (bringing down a mega big boss, or clearing a very difficult dungeon)Bring more variety when it comes to enemy behavior. If 90% of all enemies just blindly rush into your blade, it will feel monotonous. Intelligent creatues like Orcs could try to surround you. Human enemies could confront you in some kind of formation, wolves would always come in big crowds, attacking you at the same time. Enemies with certain skills like invisibility and teleportation. Enemies should have different walk speed and tankiness, so that different classes have advantages/disadvantages over them.Make enemies more interesting and give them some kind of personality. Something that makes them unique. Like exclusive loot (equipment etc.) for every monster and like I said before different behavior. This way, enemies are easier to memorize and therefore have a much better impact on how important they are.
So what do you think about this? Is PvE also important to you or is it just me who wants some PvE challange and variety? Please feel free to discuss. I think we should talk about this topic now, as long as the game is still in beta. Because once its out, there will be no mayor changes anymore, at least nothing with extreme influence on the gameplay.

    Greetings

  7. I personally think that the information he gave us was good, and I'm happy for now. I think it was a great start, and if they keep it up, they're sure to succeed. Well, in any cases, I'm waiting to see everyone's answer, and what they think. Please post below if you're either in between, or have something to say.

** Incase you missed it, here is a list of questions  already answered:

    http://forum.blackdesertonline.com/index.php?/topic/1390-înterview-with-pm-belsazar-answers/

min/recommended specs at bottom of post.

First off, I'd like to start by saying I had high hopes for this game before seeing the forums.

I haven't personally tried the game yet, so I can only go off of what others say.

I found an alpha review here.

This is an interview I found regarding the western community manager

    http://black-desert.com/news/interview-with-western-community-manager-oli/

Oli has also responded to some messages here:
    http://forum.blackdesertonline.com/index.php?/topic/1230-a-few-answers-from-cm-oli/

I can see a lot of frustration on these forums.

This game is Buy to Play incase you haven't found out yet, there is a discussion here made by BALERION
What does Daum Count as B2P?

People are trying to warn each other not to jump right into pre-ordering.

People pre-ordering are trying to stop others from bashing "their" game.
But you all need to realize something. The people on these forums are your community. We are all people that want Black Desert to be good.

While you argue amongst yourselves over who is "right" and who is "Wrong" you take away from the bigger picture.

Daum hasn't given us enough information to judge this game as a whole.

The problem here is not the players on this forum. It's Daum's lack of information on their own website.

This is a fan made website and it has way more information http://black-desert.com/

The problem here is not the lack of moderation, it's us.

I'm not expecting people to understand my point, and I don't expect this thread to stay civil for long if it takes off, but you need to work together.

    We need to work together.

Stop talking about preorders in multiple threads. Make one thread and keep everyone there collectively:
Here is a thread made by Circe, it seems thought out and the topic is fairly organised in their first post
Why I wont pre-order Black Desert

This post explains what Vigor is used for, and some issues people have with it. very good points/counter points found here, Ellie

Processing, etc. shouldn't cost energy (vigor)

Here's a list of concerns other NA/EU players have for our version, and some suggestions/ideas on what could change, Hayaku

What we are most concerned about

Make an effort to politely redirect people making new threads to a single thread relating to their topic.

We don't have to fall into chaos just because there are no "moderators".

Keeping the peace and de-escalating tension is all a mod does.

You all need to stop bickering with each other so you can focus on the real issue, Daum.

I need help from people that have been on the forums longer than I have.

If you can help point out the largest threads relating to issues, preferably the more organised threads, I can start linking them in the first post here.

If you can help, great. If not, that's fine too, but don't tell me I'm not trying to help everyone here.

  11. Post on RP Community Ideas in General

    By Nesato, posted
Hey all! Making another RP post!
I would like to gather some ideas for our future community, when it comes to events, activities, unions, etc.
Some ideas I've been collecting from   http://www.blackdesertroleplayers.com/   are:
A troupe is willing to travel and visit citys and villages, making shows.A scheduled market made by players, visiting different citys and villages, where anyone can participate (as long as the trading is enabled )Festivals with various types of activitiesIf you have any other ideas, even if they're not already in motion with other RP members, post it and check if there are more people agreeing with them. You can always post them in the RP official Forum, and ask help from the community there

  12. Hello folks!
There is a thing that we are all forgetting about, one that truly matters and can influence our presence into the gaming development:

    ORGANIZATION!
We been all around firing shots everywhere trying to pull the devs attention to our most important "changes" of the game tho we are all spread, and posts keep getting spammed with a lot of users repeating the issues over and over with new threads.
We will get nowhere that way and sadly CM_Oli, cant do the job alone, he is a "ONE MAN ARMY" atm, for sure we appreciate all the job he is been doing but as we can see he cant do the job all by himself. we have to give him support, coordination and time!

So the answer to this is quite simple aslong as people really want to help the game going into the right direction:
    Lets get some Forum Moderators!
As i been watching all the discussions before i even create an account was enough for me to see how important that is atm, and why so many people is still confused.
Daum, isnt saying much for now. so there is only speculation, there is only new ideas coming over, because we care of the game, but we keep everything spread, even if this is a official forum! Its pretty obvious that sadly CM_Oli wont have time to read every single post made here as the posts just keep growing and growing.

Thats where the Forum Mods come in handy, prevent duplicate threads, answer simple questions, manage the important info to be shown to the devs(or at least make sure CM_Oli will read the important parts) ask questions in name of Daum, control player behaviours, and so on...
If you arent new into the MMO world, and especially into MMO forums you know how important the job is for the community!
I've been through multiple MMO games where i had an active influence on forums and nothing is greater to the community of a game than having a well organized forum with right answers and GMs, CMs, FMs, giving you the safety by having ur thread checked!

We are all insecure, we are all lost in our thoughts about the game, we all want different changes... but WE HAVE TO BE TOGETHER!
If Black Desert will be the MMORPG than we all been waiting for all these years i dont know, but im pretty sure a lot of us is tired of fail waiting over and over, and we would like to see this game succeed, so lets do it into the right way and give this game and company a chance!

And yes if you guys agree i dont mind being a Forum Moderator since i have previous experience on it, tho i didnt made this to brag myself, i just did it to show you one of the most important facts we are missing, and how this can help us going through!
Feel free to apply to Forum Mod, to message CM_Oli or whatever, im not a part of the Devs, Forum Mod or whatever, im just showing you the direction we have to go to, if you ask me if im able to help you? yeah im here to help everyone and would be a pleasure to fulfill the job, but aslong as we have coordination and someone moderating the forums properly im fine with it, as im with all of you waiting for this game to succeed, hopeless waiting in the random whirlwind of questions being spread!

Just remember : Organization, time and patience!

Thank you for your time and attention.

  14. Hey Leute!
    Euer Sweetdeal!

  17. Edit: I can edit now Yay! Thanks Oli for the edit functionality and also THANK YOU for removing the downvotes.

Might I suggest we get rid of the "Downvote" arrow Oli? I've seen it on other gaming forums such as TERA NA's forums, and it's obviously a Reddit thing as well. It only encourages negativity and toxicity. I think it's much better for us to be upvoting people we agree with and encouraging a positive community. I'm sure you've seen how crazy both Reddit and the Alpha forums got, and I can tell you from extensive experience with the TERA NA forum community over the years, that allowing players to just anonymously hate on other players is the worst way to cultivate a community. I suggest removing that capability and starting this community off on the right foot.
