  1. Hallo zusammen,
  2. What are the best things to put in your garden if you are going for profit only? Wanna place mine near to heidel, so the way is short.
And how do you guys manage to get the seeds, i know you can buy them off the AH but some of them are very expensive

  4. Since we have notification when our pets low on satiety (blinking pet icon), why don't we have blinking icon for our gardens as well?
  5. Maybe because I have been very sick and using games to take my mind off it, but I seem to have little patience for the game any more, I am hoping my comments will be noticed and the game fixed so I can return for I invested way too much money in the game.
    1. Started out trainng horses and spent weeks leveling until I have several t7 horses 4 male and 2 female. Breeding them gave me another t7 or t6, never a t8 and when I got a t6 from two t7, one of which I paid to breed again,I gave up.
    2. Spent the next few weeks leveling and doing quests. Until I was level 60. I was very disappointed to see I had to kill several just to get + .001. And then when they combined severs it made it harder to get a good leveling spot and keep it. Its hard to keep ones cool when you change severs to get a good spot and after being there a while to make sure no one just left to repair, you use your once a day exp plus only to have someone pop in kill you, race to kill your mobs until you waste your exp token.
    3. Ok just fish, make enough money to better the tri armor you have only to realize you can not afk fish because the servers kick you off after a while. And worse sometime they kick back in so you think your still fishing but a few hours later you realized you caught no fish and ever esc does not bring up its menu. You find yourself ctrl/delete the game and start over which after a fe days of this you know it is time to quit.
    4. When I sent in a ticket about the days wasted catching no fish, I also admitted I had begun t hate the game. The GM that answered my cry for help very polite me said I played a lot for someone who hated the game and he could do nothing to help me...Well I did play 24/7 I am sick and at home spending time and money on games, movies what ever will take my mind off being sick...But his unsympathetic candor made me realize he was correct it was time to stop looking for things to do in game when upset with another aspect of the game... I guess I keep hoping things would be fixed to make it more player friendly and still had a few friends that played. I tried to join some that went back to SWTOR but realized I still hated the combat. You know, hit a skill ,..nothing unless you tabbed first etc. So I guess I will join the ones that are raising Dinos in ARK again. They have dragons as well now.
    5. I will check the forums to see if this game is player friendly, off and on. If the friends still playing last. But I do not see it happening. I am just glad I was not like the poor guy that spent a fortune trying to get a pet that had combat when the game started. Spending hundreds of real dollars to get the correct pet seemed too much like gambling to me and I can find more enjoyable games if I want to gamble. I did fall for the spend real money to get another breeding from a horse but when the T7 gave me a T6 I knew they had gone too far to kick us while we the players were down.
6 If Afk ever works I may try fishing aging on an older pc while I invest in a player friendly game. Then if it looks like I can upgrade my armor that way I may try again. But who am I kidding, there will be new games and if a game starts out player unfriendly it is hard to recoup and after that GM was so mean I kind of wish they wait too late to fix things. The cool thing there was enough cool things to try in this game to keep you hanging in there, which gave them plenty of time to listen to unhappy players.
  6. Post on Garden issue in General

    By DragonU, posted
For a long time raising plants in my garden whether it is rented or the shabby version has been great. I keep it watered and fully organic fertilized.  All my crops grew faster and faster as my farming leveled up. But now all crops grow so slow that the time on whatever fence I am using runs out and all my plants are gone. Anyone else with this problem?
  7. I thought A snake would be a good choice as a pet. You could have desert snakes that up hold equivalent bonuses as desert foxes. You can also have "Garden Snakes & black Snakes" that up hold similar bonuses as cats.

P.S. this Ideas is very basic and off a whim, but I'm sure with further elaboration this could flourish.

  8. Hiya !
I'm planning to move my garden near Heidel and I'm checking the territory temperature map and placing the fence to check if the growth for carrot and sunflower is optimal but I can't find that situation anywhere, even though the color of the temperature in the map is similar to the place near Calpheon where I used to be, so ... it's a bit embarrassing for me to ask, being at the top place of the ranking, but ... does anyone know any nice place in Serendia and wants me as neighbor ? ^^
Edit: Maybe there isn't any place in Serendia suitable for carrot and sunflower, so I've decided to move to Balenos near Velia for now, looking forward to meet my new neighbors !
  9. Hallo Leute,
Danke

  10. Post on Farming Garden & Luck in General

    By fNeL, posted
Does having +5 luck increase the chance of finding items through pruning/killing insects. For example: monk branches, spirit leaf, sharp/hard black crystal.
Because if it doesn't, i would rather equip my farming armor for 10% exp boost.
  11. Pr the title, is the exp for this broken all around?  My alt is still in the apprentice range and if I prune/kill, harvest or breed I maybe 1% every 8 to 12.  Considering you can only do this ever 3 hours at best this doesn't make sense.
Also if I get an item from pruning it's 4% (tea and +1 clothes) this means workers are an absolute no, not to mention they themselves don't even gain exp.
  12. 'Ello o/

Recently I started to dabble in farming business and I love it how relaxing it is. However one thing puzzles me is that how do you know where to place specific seed?
Is there any other way of checking beforehand or only when you place it and then check the temperature/humidity threshold? Or does it even matter for crop growth?
I am using organic fertilizer and distilled water, and for sunflower crops it was just a matter of finding where other people placed it, tho I have no idea if 3 hours of sunflower crop growth is fastest and whatnot.
But how do you find optimal spot for seeds such as potatoes, peppers and any other cooking materials?
    Thanks for reading ^^

  14. Post on Farmer Love in Suggestions

    By Bhop, posted
Hello, so I've been farming for a little while now and am a top 5/10 farmer on Orwen so I've got a moderate amount of experience with it and have noticed several things I find disconcerting. While I know it's not as glamorous as fishing or alchemy or the others, every other profession has quests that give profession specific xp (hunters excluded tho I don't know much about that anyway) to speed up leveling but farmers have no real quests (that I've seen so far), no dailies, and negligible xp for anything other than monk's branches (MB's) and spirit leaves (SL's) which come 1/15 or so gatherings at best. I'm currently Skilled 2 and it takes a massive amount of time because you need to be constantly tending the crops for xp since picking them doesnt do much and MB's and SL's only give 4% xp with sute tea and silver embroidered farmers gear which, combined with the RNG factor of xp gain for rares and the long growth duration, means you're looking at DAYS for levels at such a low stage which seems strange. You're required to be in the location to manage the farm as well which isn't a big deal but even the other professions allow you to buy a home in multiple cities or fish in any location with water. Also, while I assume levels changes the frequency of obtaining rare items and/or quantity of crops/seeds gained per attempt, it would be nice to have a level barrier on certain seeds for a sense of accomplishment (though, as I mentioned earlier, leveling is too slow for this atm anyway) or faster farming speeds or something else, though perhaps that's a hidden perk I have yet to realize. On top of this, crates are a decent but clearly subpar method of wealth gathering which is disheartening considering I was under the impression that BDO was formulated to make every profession a viable option.

Ok so with that being said here are my suggestions.
    1. More xp per crop harvesting/breeding/tending. The xp doesn't need to be anything as high as the others because that wouldn't make sense but at least let it be noticeable since you spend all of that time tending the crops and when you finally get your results it's slightly anti-climactic since you'll only be getting the reward with an extremely small amount of xp.

    2. Seed Level Barriers - Perhaps this is already in the works in some way or another and perhaps there's a better option but all I'm really looking for here is a type of tier system like other professions have that'll make leveling more exciting and rewarding (especially at the current speed)
    3. Farming Quests - Idk about this one since I'm not all that into dailies and the way they make things feel scheduled or repetitive sometimes but that's just me being lazy so it doesn't really bother me.
    4. Increased value of crop crates - For the time and value of the materials, the trade market is very off putting with 10 crops and a black stone powder needed to make a minor profit in relation to using those same herbs for cooking and alchemy. This is especially difficult since it requires such a massive amount of contribution points to create a large farm setup and you still need a LOT more to connect nodes to ship/transport crates for trade value and need to invest in several other  collection nodes for other mats needed for most recipes.
    5. Love - It just seems like farming is currently the ugly stepchild that gains little for large amounts of effort. It's not even viable to grind while farming unless you plan on running back from wherever you are every hour or so to tend to the farm which is horrifying to think of if you're across the map and don't want the xp to go to alts but need to stay logged into that char for energy... I think you see what I'm getting at.
Thanks for taking the time to look through this (or if you don't look through it then... thanks for the opportunity to rant on your forum :D) and with all that being said, if there's some hidden awesomeness about farming yet to be discovered that makes all of these issues irrelevent then please ignore me. Either way, loving the game and the immersive feeling it brings even if I'm currently taking a break from grinding to finish rl work (hence the sudden farming fascination). I'd just like to be able to enjoy the game in whatever method I choose (aka FARM KING, LORD OF CROPS, MAULER OF WEEDS, etc.) and feel the same sense of accomplishment I get from playing other professions. Thanks again!

P.S. I didn't reread through this because I'm lazy so sorry if I forgot to finish an explanation or have typos somewhere. Just let me know if anything needs clarification.
  15. Post on Cherry tree growth in General

I've had my cherry blossom trees planted for 2 days. 100% and full fertilizer, but only 17% growth so far. What am I doing wrong?
  16. I wonder if these Fruit of NAME comes from a specfic seed when gardening?
I've managed to gather a few of these from wild herb gathering, the ones I'm interrested in are Fruit of Enchantment and Fruit of Nature.
  17. There is an option when in Place Mode to set rotation amount to 5 Degrees. This feature does not work! Enabling it results in no change in Rotation Amount of an Item.
