  1. Having some trouble getting the knowledge for these two. From what I've read you can get this knowledge from the NPC Kanna, but she doesn't have any options for this for me despite supposedly completing the required quest. I definitely have the Northern Naga Marsh knowledge already.
I thought it might be related to Kanna's amity quests but I completed her quest for Freharau and that didn't seem to make a difference... Working on the other one now.
I also found that if you buy an adventurer dark beer in the Glish tavern they will offer you knowledge about this topic, but it seems bugged. After paying the beer I don't seem to get any knowledge, only a red waypoint to a random point on the map way to the north.. Never seen a red waypoint this colour before..  It doesn't matter which knowledge I select either, I get the same waypoint. I've taken some screenshots to try and show what I'm talking about.
    Order is:
    1. Talk to the NPC and 'Ask about Serendia Swamps'
    2. Asks to buy a dark beer
    3. Takes you back to the inital 'Ask about Serendia Swamps' screen
    4. Close conversation, then the 'What story do you want to hear' box is open. Select either.
    5. Random waypoint is generated on my map. Been to location and can't see anything...
    Any ideas anyone?

  3. My picture's refusing to attach so I'll post it here: http://puu.sh/smG5e/174bd73d49.jpg
Basically, my one and only mount is stuck in a building (unenterable) within Glish. Whistling won't budge him and he's too far away to be put in a stable.
What can I do? Is there a way I can teleport him out of some place?
  4. I really enjoy decorating my homes in the game. There are so many great things we can craft, find, or even garden to get very cool stuff for our homes.
However, there is just one ceramics shop, that is found only in Glish. I really have no problem with it being unique, however, the trouble is, it is the same building that the much needed Horse Ranch is located. It may not be the most popular workshop out there, but I'd like to see it relocated, or at least one more ceramics workshop added somewhere in the game that we horse nuts can use.
    Thank you!

  5. Hello,
I have a problem with the refinery of glish lvl 3. I have enough rough stone to produce black stone powder, but it appears the prohibited symbol and it says to me that I don't have enough materials to make them, but that's incorrect.
I have done many things in order to solve this problem: take out the rough stone and insert them again, test it with different workers, reloging the game, even increase the storage capacity although there is enough space.
I post the images with a little explanation.

  6. If you Agree with the current ideas please respond in order to keep this post active. The more it is seen the more likely it is to be implemented
    Thank you for reading!
    @CM_Jouska
There are a lot of amazing aspects and creativity that was put into taming, breeding, and the horses in general. Although there are a few topics of concern
    Topics Covered:
Trading or Guild Horse Exchange (edit due to suggestion here)Glish: Expanded Stables (no breed/delete option)Deleting HorsesHorses Health depleting when stabling them (fixed)Horse Naming and Gender (COMPLETE!)Conclusion
    1.) Section: Trading
This topic is also accompanying a strong topic that is running throughout all the community at this time. Trade. An MMO means working together, and the game is lacking that feature due to trading. You can't combine skills or effort to make a boat, you cant combine skills or effort to breed top horses for guilds to later use for guild wars, node wars, and castle wars.
--> First Request: Allow players to trade horses at their own convenience. The market place set up is safe for players yes, but if we choose to do a trade for a horse that is at our own choice and risk. Most players want to be able to either trade horses for either breeding, or trade them to people they are working with such as their guild mates.
--> So the second request is if not trading over the server itself with random players to allow free trading between members of the guild to allow guilds to work together to accomplish further goals without taxing us greatly because we can only trade by posting to the market.
--> still with fear of gold sellers implement this method as a possibly second precaution:
implement a system with trading in the guild as suggested. However add:1 Week/ 2 Week probationary period for trade within the guildthis prevents people from joining a possibly guild selling gold ect bymaking player and seller lose 1/2 week worth of time on the sale which is frustrating to the seller/buyerthey lose money leaving the guild contractthey lose another 24 hours to join another guild afterwards on top of that leaving them fairly guildless

    Current Cons of lacking trade:
Becomes single player based more than multiplayer game Sure you get a nice looking horse with skills but if you want to really breed them all you can get is money by a pre-set price No trading even within the guild --> Some players focus crafting, some focus gathering, some focus on pvp/pve, others like myself focus on taming and breeding high tiers. So none of us can help each other out making it once again very single player oriented over Black Desert MMO. Most horses end up deleted rather than getting put to use instead
    2.) Section: Glish
There are many areas in which you can can have horses which is great. Then there are cities, and major cities in which you can expand your stables, exchange your horses, put them up on the market, and delete them if you really need the space. So all the cities in which there are housing units that occupy them have the ability to expand in most cases, sell, and delete horses. This provides areas in which these tasks can be done in order to work more efficiently. However, in Heidal despite there are various stables it only holds one node which is the major city to perform the following tasks of:
    Heidel (The City Itself)
ExchangingBreedingMarketingDeletingGlish does not have this ability despite it has its own town, trade vendor, and housing units in which you can also expand the stable.
Lesser Cities that have this option:
    Calpheon Territory:
    Epheria PortKeplanVelia Territory:
Has no areas in which lesser cities can expand stables to where this would be viable
    Area that Doesn't:
    Serendia Territory:
GlishThis area has expanded housing units for horse ranch like Keplan and major cities.Does not have the ability to exchange, breed, market, or delete horses At least delete or market if not both for such a major set of housing upgrades needed to make those stables more viable contribution point wiseUltimately what people are asking for is for the second city Glish to have the various options like Keplan and Epheria Port have from Calpheon's area. If not all the options please incorporate some options being it is a large territory with only one major stable with options for the entire section.

    3.) Deleting Horses:
You can only delete horses at certain stables. This is a basic concept that should be enabled at all stables be it a Major city, minor city, camp, or post.
In any place it would be quite simple to just delete, aka release a horse from a spot. You lose financial gain by doing this and breeding ability for the horse, so deleting horses should not be a big impact on the game for adding that at every stable spot. Sometimes you just don't want horses but then have to ride them to for example Heidel where you have all your breeding horses for this area because you can't do it anywhere else around that area.
So then my main point of breeding has to be changed and rearranged to simply remove a horse I do not want by first taking out my good horses transporting them some distance then running across the map to the tier 1 horse I may not want and transporting that back just to delete it. This current implementation just doesn't make much sense in it's current state and would probably also create much more interest for newer tamers that are coming in to have this option as well while they are learning.

4.) Current Horse Glitch Costing Money:
Various players have having issues with this glitch where the horses stamina and health will magically deplete after they are stabled in which every time you get them it will cost you 1,500 silver. This may not seem like much but when you have every stable full of horses as a breeder it quickly adds up.
Another instance involves if you are getting off your horse and gather, this can also happen. Not as often as the stable glitch that is costing tamers but it does occur.

EDIT: After various testing the glitch is happening mostly in Epheria field where if you get to far away from your horse this glitch may occur.
Stables: It was tested and remote recover does cause the expected 1,500 repair. although after testing it on various stables "without any remote recover" the stables Heidel and Epheria are the ones that have been messaged to me on having those issues occur most. The other stables I have not had anyone else complaining about at this point in time. Please be careful until this is patched about what your horses health bars are at to avoid them getting one shot due to this glitch.

    5.) Horse Naming and Gender:
Horse naming is a fun concept when you are capturing your own horses, exciting even. However, I have more often then not given a male name to a female or a female name to a male. My excitement fades slightly as I stare blankly at Jasmine or Daisy the male horse. I know part of it being hidden is so people don't just say never mind, and actually have to complete getting the horse. Here is my suggestion on keeping that implemented and allowing players to see the gender before naming their horse in game. Honestly, even IGN says this part of the game is a joke in their game review for Black Desert Online.
Create a confirmation window that pops up before naming the horse that saysClicking accept will reveal the gender of the horse and then the horse will be put in the stable (making players accept it male or female)This allows the game to have players forced to accept whichever gender by agreement and then can name the horse how they wish to for a male or female horse6.) Conclusion:
I overall love most of the concepts and factors that are in the horse taming and breeding. These are some flaws that I feel were affecting the game and suggestions that I would like to potentially see added or modified in the near future.
Not all of these topics were my ideas, they are collected from various people in the server and combined with factors based off different ideas and opinions that have been suggested or told to me and melded into the concepts I felt were most important at this point in time.

There are various additions , ranging from horse colors to many other factors in which people felt would be cool additions to the game but are not current flaws in which I will be addressing at a later point in time once people feel better hopefully about the various situations listed above.

  7. First, here's my computer specs:
i7 4790K EVGA Z97 Classified GTX 980 Ti x2 SLI 362.00 Drivers Kingston HyperX fury 8Go 1866MHz x2 - 16Go Windows 10 64bitsPlenty of power to run the game sas you can see.
I must say that prior to this, I was able to play the game without a single problem (CBT2 and Sunday headstart). The problem only appeared since I happened to travel accross Glish/Glyshi today.

As the tittle said, my game crash to desktop without giving me an error. First, the screen stays black after the splashscreen (Daum - Pearl Abyss), but I suppose that's related to the server load. Once I have access to the start screen, I can stay there for an inifite amount of time without a problem. Fine. Then I select my character, located in Glish/Glyshi, the game loads, and as first as I'm in, the game kicks me out of fullscreen mode (like alt-tab) and the screen mode prompt appears. Less fine. I click yes, I'm back in fullscreen, the animations are completely bugged, and the NPCs too. Either they're invisible or they're stuck in their black silhouette LoD model. Some seconds after that, CTD without error.
    NPCs silhouette

    NPCs Invisible
Animations stuck in the first frame, for both players and NPCs (those that are not invisible at least)

So, I restart the game, same problems as earlier (splashscreen etc...), when the select prompt appears, I click no, so I'm in windowed mode. Animations are still bugged, the NPCs too, but the game doesn't CTD, it just softlock itself, the sounds keep playing, but nothing move, completely frozen. At some point, the Pearl Abyss splashcreen appears. I'm just forced to kill the process in the task manager.

I restart the game, select an other character located in Velia, no crash, no animation bug, no black silhouette NPCs. I switch the character then, back in Glish/Glyshi, the NPCs are no longer invisible, but all the other problems happens and of course, CTD without error.

    What I tried so far:
Starting the game in windowed modeChanging compatibility mode (W7, W8)Desactivating SLIDeleting GameOption.txtGame files verificationNew InstallObviously, none of this worked.
