  1. Hello NA Ninja and Kunoichi friends! With our awakening weapons coming just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to have an informal FUN tournament to showcase the skills that Ninja and Kunoichi players have! Before our class changes and becomes 100% the best in every way, let's celebrate the classes we've held out on and stuck with even with all difficulties and disadvantages we faced occasionally.
    The tournament will be on December 6th, 6pm PST, on Balenos 2, Heidel Arena, and will be live streamed on my channel. You can register here. The rules are simple:
    Single elimimation best of 3 matches. It will be a best of 3 match to decide the winner who will advance to the next round.
    Only ONE food buff, no elixirs or outside buffs. Really all these would do would make everybody spend more silver to get the extra buffs, since there are pretty much clear "best" options and not much variety. One food buff is allowed for those who may be running a unique or lesser used gear set up.
    No gear restrictions. This was a difficult decision to make. I value both pure skill on the class as well as the time and effort people put into their gear. I believe both are valid forms of showing your strength as a Ninja or Kunoichi, and ideally should be separated out. Unfortunately, since I do not have the tools to regulate this to ensure fair play, this tournament style will be any AP/DP level.
    Level 57 required. This is just to cut down on the number of participants.
    The main point of this tournament is to HAVE FUN and to showcase what us Ninja and Kunoichi players can do! Hope you all enjoy it and are as stoked as I am for our awakening weapons!

    Skill: Ninjutsu: Block Jump (SHIFT + Q)
    Grants +6 Melee Attack if used. Does not apply right if you immediately - after SHIFT + Q - press a direction button.

    You will see the Skill on cooldown and no buff is granted.

  3. Pretty simple really.  Shadow Clone and Floor Sweeping say they have "Down Smash" in their tooltips, but in truth they do not have a Down Smash effect at all.
    I can provide video evidence if necessary, but anyone with a Kunoichi can test this for themselves.

    dont really know if a bug or anything, before i report it into the right section, do you know/feel, that the buff +6 Melee Attack will be applied after using the "smash" variant? ( shift + Q, -> )
    Tried it lot of time, my Kunoichi hits him but no buff applied on the bar. Guess its a failure/bug cause the +5% Melee Speed of "Shadow Slash" will be applied right... 
  5. Hello my fellow Kunochis. This post will be about PvPing as Kunoichi so if you don't PvP often you this might seem irrelevant to you. Anyways --
    First off let me tell you what I run with.
    I have TRI Bhegs and TET Liverto (Accuracy.)
    I have 210 raw ap unbuffed. With buffs (assuming they all stack correctly)
    +30AP from Black spirit rage consumption.
    +15 AP from Endless Fury elixir.
    +8AP from my Sharp alchemy stone
    +5 AP from Knights combat rations(+5human damage for whatever that's worth). (I run Knights > Hamburg > Arehaza)
    +10~PvP damage from skill add-ons(Not sure if it counts as real "AP")
    +7 AP + 1,75% Accuracy from passive.
    Assuming they all stack correctly (Which they show that they're supposed to on the buff bar) I should have around the equivalent of 285 ap when fully "tryhard" buffed.
    (I also use Party Elixir of Assassination and Party Elixir of Life as they can overlap with normal offensive and defensive buffs.)
     

    My damage on Witches, Wizards, Rangers, Tamers, Maehwas, Musas, Ninjas etc is very high if I land my skills and combos correctly. It's basically almost a 1-combo-kill if I play patiently and wait for a mistake or an opportunity to get a block jump cc in. However versus Warriors, Valks and Zerkers is a way different story. I feel like I do 10~15% hp in a full combo against those classes meanwhile I die in literally 2 spells if they have minimum 180 AP.
    The worst encounters have been with zerkers -- Now after they've been buffed I find it actually impossible to kill them. Their 100% now heals them to full health and I simply don't do enough damage (even when fully buffed) to kill zerkers before they have their 100% up again.
    (May I add that their 100% is uninterruptable)
    I have 251 dp, 10 evasion from helmet, 2684 max hp(2784 with Party elixir of life) +10 damage reduction from Defense Elixir - and I found myself fighting a zerker yesterday that allegedly (I believe him since I literally did no damage to him) had 173 ap and 275 dp.
    However his grab combo (Grab > That spin slash thing > Grab > Spin slash thing) 100-0'd me THROUGH my extra large pots. I PvP almost every day and I know how to position and play the class especially when and how to use block and block jump to make the fight into my advantage but against these classes it all just seems futile.
    So- The reason why I made this post wasn't to gloat about gear or cry about class buffs. It was made to ask you fellow Kunoichis -- What do you do when you face one of the "tanky classes"? Do you fight? Do you run? If you fight, do you win? And how do you win? Because whatever I do it seems impossible to win.
    I mean, I've fought plenty of beserkers, valks and warriors and come out as the winner but many of those fights had a noticeable gear gap or they were simply just bad and didn't know how to play the "matchup" correctly. If I face a guy who knows what's doing then.. rip.
    P.S. Yes I know we don't have our awakening yet but that's somewhat irrelevant considering that beserkers don't even use their awakening to damage me, only to cc. All their damage comes from their grab>spinning-thing combo.
    I'd like to know what you guys think and possibly give any tips on what to do in these situations.

    All are lvl 60/61 so access to the highest skills and off course some good gear. We did recive quite some buffs over the last few weeks but we are still considered more less in the middle of the awakening but as you can see above we can still do some dmg. Lets say we are no 2 button class and have still a high skill cap 
     
     
    The inven forums still have a IP ban, if you want to access the forums use a proxy.
     
     
     
     
  8. Just a quick suggestion which I think that many players would like to see in game. 
    The pre-order costumes were avaliable with the classes which have been released with launch of the game. 
    I ask, have the devs ever created those costumes for the classes that have been released later on in the game? I am talking about Blader/Maehwa and Ninja/Kunoichi classes.
    As all four classes were not out, players which main those did not have a chance to get those costumes if they even exist? If they do exist, please add them to the pearl shop, if not I would like to see those created in game.

    I'm sure there are many of you guys out there that main a later released class but still pre-ordered the game to play these classes mainly. It also came to my understanding that the pre-order skins that were available only for released classes at the time.

    Please can we put forward this idea to give us a chance to maybe exchange these skins for our Kunoichis/Ninjas/Musas/Maehwas?

    Disregard this for such a long time it gives a basis to conclude that there is any action to change the part of Cashkao
    As you can not improve your product give me and other players who want it kuno coupon - changes the character - it is a compensation for the time and money that have been extorted by saying that the game is balanced (GameCon -now a good joke)

    ( First, I want to apologize about my English, won't be the best text you will read but you will get the point )
    I have seen a lot of subject about Kunoichi having low damages, I'm playing Kunoichi since the release on EU, I agree the tool tip was wrong and they changed it, but have you considered that they didn't change the damages because the damages were actually correct since the start ? For example : Tool tip for Heart Aiming used to show 970% x2, but what if at this time, the damages were actually 1589% x2 as intended ? I have 197 AP / TRI Bheg, and I don't have any problem killing people in one combo with more than 250 - 260 DP, I struggle more when the next threshold is passed but at this point, I don't feel like Kunoichi nor Ninja need a buff or a nerf. They're fine in their way, I've seen a lot of Kunoichi with more than 220 ap that couldn't kill on a full combo because they don't know how to cast it properly, so please stop asking for a buff about Kunoichi & Ninja. Learn a bit more about it and remember, those classes always have been Gear dependent.

  14. I don't know if this was reported before (i hope so) but I make sure you know about it. After ghost step there is like a black animation after the skill. Same for the double jump. This happened since the patch last week on 12.10. The animation is actually pretty cool but not after ghost (imo). I don't know if this is intended or not.

    PS: the animation is like half a second after ghost step and its propably the same for ninja.

    "Completely invisible and immune to attacks for 15 seconds" is not true -- I've been killed during the skill by other players before, which I'm not sure is intentional. It also contradicts the second statement, "Except for debuffs, any kind of attack cannot break concealment" because if I can be debuffed through an attack, I wasn't immune to it.
    Any input? Thanks If this is the intended behavior the description should reflect that.

  17. Unlike other classes, I'm finding that when my Kuno is standing on uneven terrain, her foot placement does not react immediately as all other classes do. Instead she stands straight briefly before finally standing correctly on the ground. It doesn't affect character control or anything, but visually, it's kind of jarring and annoying. This .gif shows it well.

  20. Horse Skill Change RNG (Random Number Generation) Modification
    Greetings,
    I am proposing that the RNG on the horse skill change coupons be changed/modified in the following ways to enhance the overall experience of the Black Desert community patrons, and furthermore reduce/remove the phenomenon of "gambling" with one's real money.
    Idea 1 - Creating a threshold when making attempts to change horse skills at which RNG would no longer play a role, and a guarantee would be granted as a result of reaching said threshold. 
    Ex. * A player is purchasing [Horse Skill Change Coupon] in an attempt to change Forechop to Instant Accel. They purchase one, "Darn! No such luck." and  they try again, same result, they now have two stacks of "Hope". This continues on until it reaches 5 stacks, Little Johnny Gamerson does not have Lady Luck on his side tonight, but behold! By his sixth attempt he has spent well enough money, got his heart rate pumping, but has thankfully reached a fail-safe, or threshold that our friendly Black Desert staff members have thoughtfully added to the most recent patch, assuring that on his 6th attempt he is guaranteed to get the skill of his choice! Now, RNG still plays a role in this scenarios in following way: Prior to attempt #6 a lucky dude or dudette may be able to achieve this goal in less tries than 6, in which case we praise RNGsus and the Black Desert Staff for being totally rad! 
    ------
    Idea 2 - Remake the [Horse Skill Change Coupon] completely. Hold on content developers, don't click off the page just yet! 
    Ex. * The underlying system is absolutely fine in the sense that the coupon is exchanged for a skill change, even the name stays the same, however what changes is the price of the coupon and the RNG factor , being realized for the cruel mistress she is, is kicked to the curb a.k.a removed! I would suggest placing the [Horse Skill Change Coupon] at a higher price, perhaps 1000 pearls or somewhere in that general area, and making it a one time deal, you buy the coupon, exchange it in the stables and your desired skill is instantaneously granted to you! 
    ------
    It is my opinion that changes such as these would increase the satisfaction of the people who choose to contribute in excess of base-cost to Black Desert, and increase the likelihood that people will choose to purchase this item, therefore generating modest to potentially significant revenue for the game and it's future developments. I also believe that choosing to modify something in this way, that reaches the mutual satisfaction of both ends of the spectrum can help solidify bonds between the BDO Team and the community at large, which is always a great thing! 
    * I totally want feedback from anyone who can add ideas, change ideas, etc, so please comment! *

  21. hi guys ive started berserker when i heard that its a very sustainable class for solo pve (except world bosses) i feel its true so far and i like him but as i keep encountering other classes in game i started to wonder especially about musa/plum ninja/kunoichi classes. i would like to ask you what is their sustainability in terms of how many pots you use and where, or is your healing skill/addon enough to heal you? will i have problems with soloing some mobs (except world bosses) or you can do most of them with proper gear/skill? So what of these classes you think is best for solo pve and why ?:)
