  1. Hello I am Ilyiandra and I am here to give you all my MASSIVE LIST OF SUGGESTIONS to help improve BDO!!!

Please note before we get started these are only my opinions, I am sure plenty of players have differing opinions on the direction this game should go in but this is my personal list.

    1. Clarity of information. One problem I have with BDO is how badly it presents information. How much accuracy do you get when you ultimate a weapon and it says "Increased Accuracy". How much is "increased"? If I have 3 different items that all say "Increased Accuracy", which has the most? Alternatively, what percentage am I getting from "+1 Critical Strike"? is that 5%? 10%? How much more critical strike am I getting from +1 Critical Strike? What does investing points into a node get me exactly? What % does the drop rate increase? Does it make workers faster? Does it make them gather more if its a gathering node? Do I get more when I gather in that node? What do these things do EXACTLY. More detailed information needs to be released about... well... literally everything. Drop chances, stat percentages, total accumulated stats and how they affect your character and the things you're fighting, and much much more.

    2. Stat and level based PvP. I get it, this game is about grinding. Literally everything in this game revolves around grinding. Whether thats grinding mobs, grinding life skills, or grinding quests. This game involves a LOT of grinding. Which is fine, and I am sure a lot of players are here because they like that style of gameplay. However, I don't think open world PvP should be so dependent on level and gear. The other day I dueled my friend on his warrior. Hes a new level 53 Warrior, and I am a level 56 Witch. He has 65AP and 90DP, I have 128AP and 188DP. While my level and stats are a lot better than his, after 2 minutes of hitting me from behind with everything he had, he still couldn't drop me. I turned around after getting bored and 2 shot him. In no way shape or form is there any skill involved in that. There is no "counter-play" as the professionals are calling it, and I feel like that simply isn't right. With proper positioning and skill usage, he should be able to wipe the floor with me, it shouldn't be such a slaughter. The same goes for things the other way around as well. With my current stats on my Witch, which I would say are pretty average, I shouldn't have any advantages over a geared player thats for sure, but I should at least be able to HIT them and OUTPLAY them if I use my skills properly. I was at Sausans the other day grinding when a Warrior ganked me. After about 3 minutes of fighting he finally killed me. I was using literally every trick in the book I could think of. I teleported behind him and back attacked him while he was confused. I dodged left and right when he would go to grab to get out of the way. I dropped my poison right at his feet and he stood in it while I dodged around trying to auto attack him. I finally -----ed up and he grabbed me(I think he had been lagging most of the fight) and he dropped me in about the span of a second. He was level 60 with 185 AP and 260 DP (I asked after the fight) and 4 levels higher than me. Yes, thats a pretty big advantage, but after all I had done, I hadn't even done 10% of his total health. Most of my attacks missed, and the ones that landed hardly phased him. This shouldn't be the case if you want a competitive game, the power of a character should not solely be based on how long they have spent grinding. Make the effects of DP weaker, and the dodge/miss chance on higher levels much lower. If you are planning on designing a game where you can level forever, set a scale. For instance: If you have a soft cap and a hard cap, base your accuracy stats around the soft cap of 55, as you can expect most players to hit that level. Once they hit 55, stop making it harder to hit anything higher than that. IE: Its harder for a 50 to hit a 55, but not for a 55 to hit a 60. But still give the standard HP and other base increases that come from leveling. This way the level that most people are going to be playing at is used as the standard for PvP and makes the game far more balanced.

    3. Dyes. The system for getting dyes is absolutely terrible. Merv's Palette is awesome but you only get it temporarily. Dyes are in my opinion one of the coolest things about your gear customization system, and it hardly ever gets used unless someone has a value pack or a Merv's Palette. The random dye generation system is one of the dirtiest cash grabs I have ever seen, and also one of the most pointless. I don't have any stats in front of me but I doubt you sell many of them. Hell, I doubt you sell many Merv's either. But even if you did, I feel you are throwing away a massive set of customization options for a quick cash grab. At least give us the ability to craft all the Dyes. Make it so you can find schematics or learn them through difficult quest chains. Then make it so you can sell the dye on the market for a profit. People will bust ass to get those dyes and spend silver to buy them. I would really like to be able to permanently customize my gear, but I can't because its behind a massively absurd pay wall and the response I get from a lot of people is the same: "I'm not paying money to "maybe" get the dye I want." Make Dyes craftable.

    4. Better Boss Fights. What do I mean by this? Well to me most boss fights are tank and spanks. And by tank I mean whoever is dying in front of the boss at the time. Its basically just a smash fest until the boss is dead, no skill is involved, and if you get hit you are generally dead if your gear isnt good enough. That isn't a fun or engaging way of having boss fights. So here is how I would suggest you improve the fights:
-----1. Give them clear and obvious mechanics. This means big arching swings and AoE moves that are broadcasted so that the player can see it coming and get out of the way, but is punished if they don't. This will be easier, but you can make it harder by adding new attacks, new stages of the fight(such as minion summoning or new abilities), and giving them more health.
-----2. Make the bosses movements less twitchy, a giant monster shouldn't be able to 180 turn in a blink of an eye. Make them move more realistically and predictably. This makes the fight feel more epic as it gives you a sense of scale.
-----3. Give the bosses more detail. These are your big bads, your ultimate challenges, why do they look like you spent 20 minutes modelling them and said "----- it good enough!"? Give them armor, new weapons, make them bigger, give them new summoning animations, give them better animations for their attacks and abilities, give them two heads, wings, an endless army of minions. Make the world bosses feel different and powerful and spend a lot more time on their 3D models and animations.

    5. Small suggestion but each tree should give at least 1 log and 1 Type Log. (IE: "Fir Log"). Its infuriating to cut down 12 Fir Trees and not get 1 Fir log. For 1 it doesn't make any -----ing sense and 2 it makes you have to go through far more trees to get to your goal. And I don't know about you but I have never been excited to hit the trees.

    6. Allow guild members to have priority purchasing on anything their guild mates put on the marketplace. The market is fixed anyways, at least let guild members buy items from other guild members.

    7. Completely overhaul the gear upgrade system. There is nothing more frustrating than the RNG system for upgrading gear in this game. Its infuriating. The simple fact that items can be destroyed or downgraded when trying to upgrade them without "fail stacks" is an absolutely retarded concept centered around a lazy company that wanted a cheap way of making gear upgrades without all the work of making models and animations. There are plenty of alternatives to this system. 1. You could keep the same type of upgrade system but remove the RNG and instead make it require more and more black stones to upgrade. Maybe PEN is like 50-100 concentrated black stones to upgrade? Or alternatively, and my favored method 2. Make it so upgrading gear gives you much more freedom to customize. Do you want nothing but AP? Make it so you can upgrade your gear pure AP by using AP stones, sacrificing a lot of DP. You want crit and attack speed? Sacrifice AP to get Crit and Attack Speed using different stones. You want AP and Accuracy? Use those stones at the sacrifice of speed and crit. Transfusions? Make everything able to upgrade to ultimate, and the base form has 1 Crystal slot, upgraded has 2, Ultimate has 3. Make it so transfused Crystals have a much higher range of customization. +2 Attacks on Red Moon? +2 Meters on ranged attacks? -5 WP Cost for Chase? And make these Crystals exclusive to certain slots so people have to make serious choices on how they want to upgrade their abilities. Want more range? You have to sacrifice attack speed. Want more damage? You have to sacrifice accuracy or crit. Want more DP? You have to sacrifice AP or Speed. etc etc. Give upgrades meaningful choices and make players think about what they want.

8 Holy God Optimize your game. Get rid of the static models in major cities, people are already going to be everywhere we don't need our computers having to load in 300 extra models that literally stand there as set pieces. Or at least make an option to turn them off. Compress textures and models? Make better use of multicore processing and RAM? Clean up your code? Not sure what else to suggest but holy god please optimize your game MUCH better.

    9. FIX SWIMMING. How hard is it? You swim in the direction your camera is facing and press W to swim forward. If you press S you swim towards your camera. A and D make you strafe left and right. Hold shift to swim faster. FIX PLEASE.
  2. So I've recently came back to the game after a few months, And i noticed that whenever I try to go to the cash shop and scroll through the lists. It jitters up and down as I go down. Than after a few seconds of going down the list, it jitters violently, then just dissapears and I can't click anything.
Its made the cash shop unusable. I want to buy weight upgrades and some costumes, but I can't because The cash shop lists wont work. This problem persists through every section of the shop.
If anyone has any suggestions, or a solution. That would be much appreciated, Thank you.
  3. I know I haven't been doing this as long as other people, but I have spent all day at the Marketplace trying to get a specific costume from the market.  It's only shown up twice and due to the nature of the Bidding system, I didn't get it.
There doesn't really seem to be a system in place with the Market to actually make getting outfits a realistic goal.  I mean, how much opportunity cost is lost while I sit here at this NPC?  I could be doing more enjoyable things with my time.  It would be nice to have a system in place to make this not-so-painful.
The [Notices] system doesn't really work for Pearl Items since they post instantaneously.  But you also can't put Pearl Items on a pre-order.  I suppose this isn't such a big deal for people trying to get the latest/most-popular costumes, as they are posted pretty frequently.  But some stuff (like the outfit I want) is rarely ever posted - and when it is, there's an unknowable amount of people all rolling the dice hoping they win it.

I'm fine with that I guess - I just would like something to roll those dice for me.  Maybe set up "auto bid" so that I can get back to playing the game without having to lose out on the very-few-chances to actually get this costume.

TLDR:  Enable auto-bid or something like it, so that I don't have to camp out the Marketplace NPC to roll on an item I want.  OR make Pearl items take 10-20 minutes to post like every other item, that way we can set up Notices for them and do other things until we're prompted to go to the Market.

    Thanks.
  4. Posted a complete Fish Species List for the Margoria expansion due for launch this Wednesday 25 January 2017. This should be of use fishers adventuring out to the new ocean sea areas. I don't normally cross-post but Margoria is nearly here and this will probably be of use in planning for the launch.
Guides > Margoria - Fish Species List (Provisional)
It includes the new fish species and fish tables broken down to the new sea areas, both fishing and harpoon species. it will be confirmed and updated once we are able to access these seas.
Hopefully it will be of use for finding specific species including for the new fishing weekly quests etc. It also contains general notes and details for the new sea areas and other fishing related information.
If you have any corrections, suggestions etc please post them to that thread.

When this is confirmed then the guide will be updated.13 April 2018 - The Laila's Petal blue quality item has been added as a low drop rate chance to all regions, both freshwater and sal-----er. The item is used for the new Fairy pet.Introduction
The Margoria Expansion (Ocean) is being launched on the 25 January 2017 in the EU/NA region. Introduced on 21 July 2016 in Korea, the expansion brings a range of new content, including new seas in the wider ocean and also new fish species.
The list here is taken from various sources posted to Korean forums (many thanks to 중2병소환사입니다 - 2 bottles of a Summoner plus the other KR fishers). The lists were translated from the Korean and cross-checked individually with the new fish species now in the data files of the EU/NA version. The fish table for Ross Sea has been confirmed already personally, as we are able to fish it already (over the barrier).
The new sea area fish tables include most of these new species plus existing species (only yellow quality fish added). Also species in the data files but not in-game until this launch ( for example Sturgeon, which will be a harpoon species).
For other water areas check out:
BDO - Ocean Fish Species List
BDO - Freshwater Fish Species List

    Important Note
Being based on details from the Korean version of the game, these details are provisional and may change. From test fishing so far, the details have matched the list with some lower quality species to add; possibly some change to harpoon but will update as these are covered. Generally it is accurate for the EU/NA region.
There is some detail missing (mainly in incomplete green and white species listing). It is unlikely that there will be any change to the EU/NA regional version, however, there is no way to be certain until launch that these fish tables are the same. As I fish these new sea areas any changes will be noted here and missing species added.

Where possible they are indicated below. No confirmation whether there are any fish spawns in the new ocean area or not.The sea areas are marked only approximately and will vary in the ocean, changing on the mini-map and text when crossing boundaries.Sea Origin nodes work differently from current seas. There are not islands for nodes but multiple ones in each sea. See notes below for more details. For updated maps showing all sea nodes, island nodes (new sea regions and species to be added) check out Fam's BDO Map Site.General notes are included below the Fish List for further detail and information. ---
    General Notes
Luvar (f) and Giant Squid (h) available in all open water ocean areas (like existing Coelacanth (f) and Sperm whale (h)).Bahaba species appears not to be included. It appears that trash can be caught even in deep water, unlike current oceans.Generally, it appears that the proportion of high value species is higher than in current sea areas (TBC but is this way in Ross Sea). There is evidence from Ross Sea fishing that the drop rate of Ancient Relic Crystal Shards and Silver Keys is also higher. This is likely to be the case across the entire new ocean which perhaps reflects previous comments about better quality fishing the further north the fisher travels. However this remains to be confirmed for actual fishing data in the new areas. Each new sea area contains multiple nodes to discover. It is not clear yet whether all nodes are require discovery for the sea Origin to connect correctly to the trader node, or just the node actually being fished in that sea. It looks like you need at least a cleared (no fog) discovery of nodes from fishing location to Port Ratt or Lema Island (as these two are auto linked when Port Ratt is discovered) to make the required link. The fish tooltip now includes some detail of how to correctly connect nodes for trading fish caught in the new ocean area:※ If you want to sell fishes caught in the ocean for fair prices, you must connect the nodes between Lema Island and your point of sale. You also need to discover the areas near the fish’s origin. The new sea area nodes do not require CP investment, just discovery. There are three islands that require 5 CP in total to connect to Port Ratt. See Fam's BDO map site for details. It's confirmed now that the distance bonus for trading will vary depending on the nearest node the fish was caught. So fish with the same Origin sea area, may vary in bonus depending if they were caught in the same location of multiple locations/ nodes. Most likely it is a direct distance from node > Trader.Sea area closest to Haso continent, in the small grey area possibly in between it and the land is green species table only. Port Ratt safe zone itself is only a Default Trash Tables (Fish Bone, Seaweed, Sandeel) and very slow fishing time. Do not fish in Port Ratt for this reason, or the Vadabin - Grey zone either. The new sea areas contain the fish required for the new Fishing weekly quests (vary depending on Fishing skill level) given by the new NPC, Katio the sea otter on Nada Island (see link for fishing quests available, rewards, completion conditions and requirements). Check the list for the required species. Some may be caught in existing waters or more than one sea. Each weekly quest contains at least one harpoon species so some harpoon fishing will be required. They require a level 56 character with the required skill level
Why fish the Margoria sea areas?
The main reason to fish the new sea areas is for the higher quality fish tables. Compared to existing seas, they all have three yellow quality species (only one in most current seas) meaning a higher percentage of these fish which results in more EXP gain (fish quality dictates Fishing EXP) and silver income. There is also evidence from fishing already in the Ross Sea that the fishing time is much faster being on average 15 seconds compared to a general average of 25 seconds which is very noticeable. For active fishing this means much faster filling of the inventory and quicker EXP gain over time. Even for passive fishing it speeds up the cast > bite element. One of the main reason fishers venture out further in Korea is to obtain the maximum 150% distance bonus for trading fish caught. There is compelling evidence from Ross Sea fishing data that there is generally a higher relic shard and silver key drop rate, which also increases income over current water. Finally, there are the new fish species, both fishing and harpoon, for the Fish Guide and knowledge entries.Balance this better fishing with the increased travel time and potential dangers of Sea Monster attack, potentially PvP (no karma loss at sea as in the desert) and random Ghost Ship attacks (at night). The developers have given quite some thought to the risk/ reward balance.

When this is confirmed then the guide will be updated.13 April 2018 - The Laila's Petal blue quality item has been added as a low drop rate chance to all regions, both freshwater and sal-----er. The item is used for the new Fairy pet.Introduction
Although less important for fishing generally than sea areas, the inland rivers and other water bodies contain a wide range of fish species. They also have their own variation of fish spawns. The existing freshwater fishing replaced the original setup which included hidden static hotspots and differing fish tables. This has all been replaced with what now exists.
The most important consideration of fish species locations is that, like in the various regional sea areas, each region has it's own specific fish species table.
This means that any fish caught within a territory such as Calpheon, will be the same across the entire region (see note below on smaller waters and trash catches).
The Valencia expansion introduced no new fish species, using part of the tables from both Mediah and Balenos (see note below).
Generally the fish table will consist:
1-2 yellow quality species1-2 blue quality species2-3 green quality species3-4 white quality fish species.Various trash items depending on region in all tables.Ancient Relic Crystal Shard and Silver Key items drop in all areas (not from the Default Fish Table in some smaller waters, see note below). The designers continue to add fishing content and this is reflected in new freshwater fish species and waters in the upcoming Kamasylvia region. This includes for the first time a yellow quality, high value Rare fish species, the Yellow Snapper, as a low drop rate chance across the new area.
The list is provided to help finding missing fish species for the Knowledge entries; locating specific species for fishing quests and for general interest.
The salt-water version of this list is available here:

    General Notes
Fishing speed is slower compared to in the sea and also current fish tables have a lower proportion of high quality fish and more trash content. The slowest fishing in the game is in Heidel, compounded by the fact it is nearly always Exhausted resources there too. This, together with the rather strange spawn behaviour makes it less attractive than sea fishing generally. The slower speed does however offer one advantage. That is for passive AFK fishing combined with a small inventory. The high percentage of catch auto-deleted when the option is selected, means more chances for relic shards in the remaining inventory slots (the drop rate remains similar but space is retained for longer for shard drop chances). Some smaller waters may contain the Default Fish Table (Fish Bones, Seaweed, Sandeel). The upcoming Kamasylvia expansion will also have it's own fish table with some new species added and the currently missing Swiri species also added. The last remaining freshwater species that is not yet catchable in the game we now know is the Swiri and this has been confirmed as being added with the Kamasylvia expansion.Sadly some of the most picturesque stream locations only have the default fish table and therefore offer nothing for fishing. Hopefully these can be properly identified as fishing waters for a proper fishing table at least. And some reworking of the current freshwater spawns to make them less frustrating and relevant would also help add these often attractive waters as more viable options to the fisher.Notes on freshwater Fish Spawns
The randomly spawning fish pools are referred to as fish spawns rather than the older term hotspot, to avoid confusion between old static hotspots and the newer randomly spawning fish spawns.Fish spawns inland difference from those found at sea in how they function. The general behaviour is:The freshwater spawns have jumping fish (trout-like) but no sea gulls hovering above them. They have a short spawn duration, often de-spawning within minutes (seemingly some are bugged and de-spawn in less than a minute). On cast the spawn will de-spawn rather like Coelacanth spawns.Unlike Coelacanth it is often possible to continue catching the spawn species in the same spot 2-3 more times after de-spawn. There is no remaining animation and the float needs to be recast to the same spot for this to occur. The actual activation zone of the spawn is tight to the visual animation meaning the float needs to land in the middle or the spawn species wont be caught; unlike at sea where the activation zone extends out at least a boat length from the visual spawn.Due to many freshwater spawns being out of range from land, the use of a boat is strongly recommended. This enables the fisher to patrol the river looking for spawns and position themselves close enough for an accurate cast into the pool. Using remote collection to an appropriate inland wharf (ensuring no items in the boat hold) is possible and the easiest way to use a boat inland. There are some spawns which appear unfishable due to being in water where there is no wharf or connecting river through which to navigate to it. The spawns out of range from the shore (even with an energy cast) can not be fished. And example of this is Lake Kaia.Acknowledgements

  7. Post on Pet manage option in Suggestions

    By Kintsu, posted

Hi all, I have been looking my pets management and I have seen that we don't have any option to change the pet list.

For example: I have three or four pets and I want my hawk to have the first animation preference to land on my shoulder and change it for the cat.

I suggest add a new button to the pet list window to switch between the diferent pets, thanks to this button we will be able to select what pet we want to have as main animation.

I ask for this option becouse I bought a hawk and I can't change my pet preferences to see this gorgeous pet animation.

There is my link to the thread if u want see what I mean:

    Sorry for my poor english.

I hope you like this idea.....
  8. The character list (order of characters) is stored on the computer for sure, as it was different on my 2 computers. On one machine this list is bugged for me. Is there a way to manually reset it? By deleting a file or something. It would be great as it most probably would fix the bug.
  9. Hello Lughnasa here with another small, Quality Of Life suggestion.
As most of us may know with grueling experience with the marketplace. If you've ever tried to purchase say a Pearl Item in specific from the marketplace then you might notice that they disappear before you even see they've been listed. Supply and Demand for some items are sky high while not so much for others. Not to mention with the upcoming server merge contest for those items will triple.
    PROBLEM:
Do you want to get your hands on a Value Pack but don't want to be forced to wait at the marketplace for it when you could be out grinding for Level 56?

    SOLUTION:
An In-line queue. By queueing up (with your Family name to prevent lining up alternate characters.) to buy that Value Pack you'll be guaranteed to receive one after waiting your turn in line after everyone that queued up before you.

Ofcourse there would have to be limitations: Can only queue on the same item once until it has been purchased, Purchases are made through Family Name (so as to avoid alternate characters filling the queue), Can only queue for 1 of these types of items (Functionality, Outfits, Pets), Can only purchase 5 of these items within a week etc.

    REASON:
Now you might be thinking "Lughnasa thats just a preorder!" and you might be right but wait theres more. With the queue line in place Item listers and yourself can also view the list to see how big the line is and whats in demand rather than giving it a blind shot at any outfit or item or pet that may or may not be wanted.

However competitive this game may or may not be, there isn't a reason for even the interface to be frustrating to a player as it doesn't add any sort of fun motivation to 'get better' like in game PvP does because not everyone has the connection speed or time to camp out at the marketplace and constantly refresh waiting for an item to be listed only to find that its gone within 2 seconds. This implement will make it easier for everyone to be happier (or more impatient) with purchasing their items.

  10. Hi =)
Been doing crafting quests and at the start things seemed logical. I made something, gained knowledge and it displayed the ingredients needed in that info.
Now, lately, that is far from true for my new discoveries. Instead of, for example, showing what I need, it might say for example:
Beer: Grain x5, Mineral Water x6, Leavning Agent x2, Sugar x1.
    Seafood Grilled with Butter: Butter x? + seafood x? + salt x? + olive oil x?
I tend to google things anyway when crafting something but this just struck me as odd. Add to that, some recipes (example Pickled Vegetables) doesn't show anything at all beyond roleplay info.
Are these things written as is or is the exact ingredent info something that I can unlock eventually by making lots of them or altering ingredients/quantities?
  11. Really simple issue, no it's not the end of the world, no it's not hugely important, but a lot of us would like this implemented.

Can we please get a feature enabling us to change the order of our characters in the character selection screen, both in the game world and prior to entering?

There's been posts asking for this before, and it *surely* can't be hard to implement. Let's actually get this done please.

    BDO - Ocean Fishing Guide
    Updates
10 October 2018 - Following the extensive changes to Fishing included in the 10 October 2018 Patch Notes, THIS INFORMATION IS NOW DEPRECATED AND IS CHANGED IN THE GAME. Refer to this for historical purposes only.10 January 2018 - Trout fish species finally added back into fish tables after being removed and not replaced back with the big Fishing change in June 2016. Notes state coast of Balenos. After testing it seems any of the coastal parts of Velia bay not including the green only fish marker tables. Added to confirmed tables.10 January 2018 - The addition of the Gold Key item in high drop rate was reversed after some weeks. Now it has been either removed totally or remains but only as a very low drop rate. Therefore it is hard to confirm personally in all previous waters (see above 06 December 2017 note) but will be added when confirmed.10 January 2018 - It is reported from reliable sources that it is possible to fish a Bronze Key from at least two Kamasylvia fish tables though I have not fished them personally to confirm so will leave as a note for now. The waters reported were Lake Flonder and Okiara River.14 March 2018 - Tuna species has been removed from the Balenos coastline and replaced with Nibbler in the 14 March 2018 Patch Notes, both yellow quality species. Yet to confirm exactly which waters but assume Balenos Islands, Velia Hotspot, the green tables with a few yellow species off the coast including Velia wharf.13 April 2018 - The Laila's Petal blue quality item has been added as a low drop rate chance to all regions, both freshwater and sal-----er. The item is used for the new Fairy pet.Note: Early updates are now noted at the end of the list under Previous Updates.
I have now posted a freshwater version of the list. And a list specific to the Margoria expansion sea areas.

BDO - Freshwater Fish Species List
BDO - Margoria Fish Species List
BDO - Kamasylvia - Freshwater Fishing Guide
    Introduction
This list covers the ‘new fishing’ introduced by Kakao Games Europe to the EU/NA region with the 17 June 2016 Patch Notes which brought with it random spawns on the ocean, revamped harpoon fishing and, importantly for this list, a readjustment of fish species in fish tables across the seas. It also includes the Valencia Part 1 & 2 sea areas.
This means that players will be able to locate specific fish species for quests etc., within individual seas (and their associated origin nodes) and other seawater bodies.
    Details
Given that the new fishing system has not been in game for long and all of the data has come from manually exploring all the different seas etc., it should be considered as incomplete and subject to change. It should however give a reasonably reliable guide to finding the identified fish species.
Since the introduction of the new fishing there have already been some changes (not all included in patch notes) notably the apparent removal of trash from deeper sea areas noted in the 29th June 2016 Patch Notes.. It is still possible to catch trash if near land such as islands or shallower areas near coasts; even very rarely in seemingly deep waters. But generally it shouldn’t be caught now in the deep sea areas.
    General notes
    The general breakdown of fish species by quality in a typical open seawater fish table is;
1 x gold quality fish species (from 27 September 2017 Patch Notes, Tuna & Grunt added to fish tables of some areas around Velia making 2 yellow species)2 x blue quality fish speciesRarely to occasionally green quality speciesOccasionally white quality fish speciesRare chance (similar to other places) for Ancient Crystal Relic Shards & Silver KeysCoelacanth can be caught in all waters, as a rare drop chance.Bear in mind that, as with much of the game, there are exceptions to every rule and some locations may have more blue species for example, or in one instance two gold species (new Velia beach hot spot).
As further species are confirmed in fish tables they will be updated to this list.
Each sea or water body was fished for a sample catch of at least 50 fish/ items (up to around 300). This provided sufficient data to identify with some certainty the main gold and blue fish species in each table, plus a reasonably comprehensive idea of the green and white species.
The list doesn’t include the new random spawn fish species (some are new, some include the existing fish).
Each sea area has an associated origin node (or more than one) which can be identified via the fishes tooltip under Origin, such as in this example. These are noted below
    with the associated sea area.
For details of the individual fish species you can refer to the BDDatabase.net Fish Guide which has a handy reference for all fish species, including rarity, knowledge and the actual fish if you click the Related item: link.
The list being based on the Knowledge list moves broadly from West > East of the map. The additional locations are in no particular order beyond general headings.
Finally, several seas and water bodies, notably the Velia bay area (Velia, Balenos Islands), include more than one fish table. These are included and locations provided to try and give some better idea of where they are within the zone. Where the fish table is confined to a very small spot, distance coordinates are provided. More may well be present but not yet identified.
    Identifying the locations of listed seas;
If you have explored the ocean you may have the seas and associated island nodes included under the in-game Knowledge > Ocean section. If not, it is possible to view all such locations from the BDDatabase.net Knowledge section. This also includes a list of islands in each sea (via the drop down menus) which should give the player a good indication of their locations in the ocean.
More conveniently, all this fish table data is now incorporated into the Sea Regions overlay on the (very impressive) Fammes BDO Map site here.
As you sail around the ocean each sea region is indicated on the minimap and on the UI as you move across a sea boundary.

Since the 27 September 2017 Patch Notes change, the Smokey Chromis is swapped with Tuna as the yellow species (not actually noted in notes). This confused sea area appears to have been incorporated into Olvia Sea proper, with the same Olvia Sea fish table(revised with Smokey Chromis). Therefore previous split of A. & B. amended to single fish table for this sea to reflect new Olvia Sea boundaries. Previously the boundaries of this sea and fish tables is rather confused in this E area with Olvia Sea and fish tables. This was also the case when harpoon fishing.

The Al Halam Sea has an unusually large number of species included in the fish table. This means it is harder to catch any particular one including the single gold species, Tilefish. This tends to make it sub-optimal in terms of silver value.
It is exceptional in having no less than five blue quality and four green quality species included in the table.
Al Halam Sea covers the entire new Valencia areas ocean including the strait up to Ancado Inner Harbor (which also includes the same fish table).

Currently this is the only open water area with two gold quality fish in the table.
It appears deliberately placed to appease those used to the old AFK gold hot spot.
The spot is in the Velia safe zone, is fished from the beach so no boat required and is closer to the storage and trader. it loses out on a small distance bonus from the old spot. B. Velia beach (except tiny spot on Coastal Cliff boundary noted above in A.), wharf and Velia open water.

  13. glad to see some UI problems have been fixed, especially the chat - item link tooltip remaining on the screen bug, but there's still a couple that i see often:
    1) quest window - see attached picture
if you hover the mouse on the quest window and drag the mouse out of it through the left, right or top edges it's ok, it goes transparent as it should; but if you drag the mouse away through the bottom edge, overlapping the red rectangles it remains on the screen, the only portion on the bottom edge that doesn't bug the window are the arrow and the big plus icons, highlighted with white rectangles
    2) worker window
in the worker list, if you hover on almost anything, it will show the details of the worker on whose row the mouse was on; if you close the worker list window and move the mouse down quickly, the list will close, but the details of a worker (usually the one at the top since it's the closest) will appear and can only be closed by opening the worker list again; seems like there is a delay after you close the worker window in which the worker details window/link is still active

    That's all.
  16. Post on Friend List in Suggestions

    By c3z, posted
The Friend List system could use a few tweaks. I'm not really asking for the developers to add anything, just edit the properties that are already there, or that SHOULD be there. I did my best to explain my suggestions below:

-INCREASE FRIEND LIMIT-  Please increase the friend limit. Current cap seems to be 40, Between my guildies, friends in other guilds, IRL friends, and Party Record, it maxed out after a few days. Party Record feature itself interferes with such a low friend list cap. (Seems I can still receive/accept friend requests, but I can't add anyone after 40. Not sure whats going on there.)
-INCREASE GROUP LIMIT. 4 groups doesn't really cut it. (not including Other, and Party Record)  I like to group friends from other guilds under their own group with their guild name as the group name. Instead, I'm forced to stick everyone from every guild under the group name "Allied Guild" This problem can be solved by adding a feature that puts their guild name next to their family name, or just adding a bigger group limit so I can do it myself.
-ALLOW US TO ADD NOTES - If you can't increase the group limit, then letting us add notes to friends list will serve as another means of organizing our friends.
-ALLOW US TO DELETE GROUPS - Self explanitory! You can make groups but you can't delete them, only rename them. Seems like something that should've been there but someobody forgot to code in.
-ALLOW WHISPERING FROM FRIEND LIST - I understand this can be mistaken for laziness, but you already have a whisper feature via the chat box, why isn't it a feature in the Friend List?
-ALLOW GUILD INVITE FROM FRIEND LIST - Again, its a feature in the chat box but for some reason its not a feature in the friend list menu.
-FIX THE ADD FRIEND FEATURE. Add Friend system is backwards as hell. When it says "Family Name" with a check in the box it doesnt recognize family name, but recognizes character name. Either have 2 boxes and check 1, or get rid of the check boxes in general and swap Family Name option with Character Name option that when it says Family Name on the Add Friend menu, typing the Family name actually works. Should be an easy fix.
-PARTY RECORD - Good feature, but again, with such a low friend limit, it gets annoying.
-1:1 CHAT - it would be great if 1:1 chat had some sort of memory (at least longer than a day), or even allowed for offline messages to be sent. Most messages go unheard b/c everyone is AFK and disconnect somewhere in between returning from AFK. If 1:1 message data could be stored for 24 hours or even longer it would be a greatly appreciated feature by everyone I've spoken to about it.
-AUTO SORT ONLINE/OFFLINE FRIENDS - Kind of self explanitory, if the friends list sorted online friends to the top of their corresponding groups or even change the color of online vs. offline members it would be a huge plus.
  17. Hello! @CM_Jouska, I think the friends list could use some improvements: - Add green/red/yellow buttons to let players know who's online, offline or playing in a different server/channel. Currently, I think it's hard to distinguish between who's online and offline. You have to go through the friends list, find the person you want and see if their online info (level, energy/contribution) actually shows up. This could be time consuming and hard to find if you have a big friends list like I have.- Allow us to search our friends' list by Character/Family name. This saves a lot of time for players with big lists.- Allow us to delete tabs, including standard ones. I've created some old friends tabs that I'm currently not using, but I can't delete them, so they are just standing there empty. It would also be nice to delete or rename the default tab "Others" to something else, if possible.- Make it possible to sort friends by online/offline status.- I think it's probably not necessary to show our friends' Energy/Contribution points. Instead, maybe it would be more helpful to show their current location? These are some suggestions I thought of since I use my friends list a lot! I hope these are useful

  20. Been looking, but all I can find are lists that have all costumes, even from the korean version. Some people have said that costumes rotate, and that in Korea, some of the older costumes never returned once they left the store. Is there a list somewhere that has all of our costumes somewhere? I can't play the game just yet, but was wanting to see which ones are currently in.
  21. I've tried googling and searching, best I found was an armor set list with bonuses, but they had the weapons list as "to be added". Is there a list of weapons somewhere that also shows what bonuses they get for upgrading?

There has to be others that would enjoy the QoL change especially if we later down the line change our mains whether its on new class releases or not

  25. Hallo zusammen
