    So farming gives off twigs and of course they're useless.. Why not turn them into 'branches' and turn 15 'branches' into 1 log through processing 'chopping' or to a NPC. Would help a little with the sailboat, would give an already in game item a use, and would stop wasting space in my inventory every time I tend my farm.  
  2. Hey all so I was talking to my friend about timber and how you can't get a lot of timber from the logs so we smashed our brains together and came up with this idea.
    You are out gathering, you're cutting down trees getting the basic logs and ash timber, a couple of trees later you get a long log or big log (cuz why not name wise) you can stack it up to 10 then go back to a city you're crafting in such as Altinova, Heidel, Calph, you go into your sawmill and you can cut the big logs or long logs into more timber than you would be able to with just regular logs, haven't really fleshed the entire idea out just thought i'd post this on to potentially kick something up is all.
  3. Make an option to turn off the excessive developer loging. Log files 20-30mb full with errors for 1-2h is not normal. This is too much write on the SSD
  4. It's bad enough that you don't send the countless logs to PA for error management and crash fixes, but could you at least forward to em that logs should.. expire at some point?

    For a log folder is COMPLETELY unreasonable. They're safe to delete of course, but this shouldn't be on the users task of things to do, it should be done by the game.

    I do a lot of lumbering lately and i gather a lot of logs (5k+) but kinda cannot find what to do with them.
     
    Any ideas ?
  6. I have a simple question for you all, why is it that there are worker nodes for every other Tree logs/Timber like Ash and Birch but not one for just normal Logs. I can't understand why there is no Worker nodes for Logs, since it's not worth grinding and selling on the Marketplace there is never any Logs available on the Marketplace, i think  they need to Increase the price for Logs to make more people grind and sell then or give us at least one worker node for players so we don't need to spend 2 hours to make 20 Usable scantlings.
     
    Thoughts? should they keep the system they have now or make it more easy to access logs for players?

  8. We should be able to convert any type of wood into usable scantling (not just plain logs).
    Make it grind process for other woods, even make it take more, just add another way to make it!!!
  9. I found out tonight that there are two different NPCs that give the same quest of getting a toolshop and making a fishing rod.
    They both tell you to go and get LOGS and NOT Ash Timber. The level 1 toolshop has an "Old Fishing Rod" which uses LOGS, whereas the "Fishing Rod" uses Ash Timber.
    I of course went for the fishing rod that uses what I was told to get, "log"s. It is the 10-use version vs the 30-use version "Fishing Rod".
    I waited (wasted) 31 minutes to find out that 1. It didn't update the crafting part, 2. it didn't update the holding in my hands and speaking to the NPCs part.
    I already had a STORE BOUGHT one from Crio in my inventory. I equipped it right in front of this otter and the "second" requirement of the quest updated for both quests. I was then forced to start the production part all over again with the "Fishing Rod", 30-use rod. As soon as I did this, both quests updated.
    Quests like this should not be allowed to complete in any old order. You can't just buy a NPC bought tool to update a crafting quest. The game should check for a store vs crafted tool, not just the name.
    Was it the developer's intention to also have the SAME QUEST, given by TWO DIFFERENT NPCs (seems strange the weapon guy Alfredo would offer this).
