  1. [Deleted every single file and reinstalled the game, didn't work]

Ever since the last patch I've had several bugs, several times a day. It takes relogging the game to fix this. Changing character didn't work.
I cannot ride my horse.I cannot speak to any NPC.I cannot call upon the Black spirit, and sometimes I can, but I'm not able to enchant. I fall through my houses. When I can enter my house, I sometimes cannot access utilities (cooking/alchemy stations)I sometimes can't use my weapon/attack, requipping does not fix this.I've never had lag, annoying bugs or anything while playing BDO (playing since CB). I had no hardware changes, nor changes in my router etc.
So far it's been every day since the last patch, every few hours... It's really starting to get annoying.

  2. Post on NPC without pantsu :o in General

    By Kotaro, posted
some months ago I sent a ticket
the reason was NPC Ferry Crossing
Keeper Gafur was not using pantsu...
but then today I was checking
if she wears pantsu but nope...

    please give her some underwear
or do the NPC also needs pearls
    to buy underwear?

  3. The ferry keeper (Gafur), and the 3 npcs east of the dock where players repair at pirates, Hazelnut, Yiscule, and Haim, still appear as question marks for me even though I've talked to them on numerous occasions and done many pirate quests.
In knowledge, under Character, People on the Sea, Island Residents, they appear as 4 lines of question marks immediately under Barbara. The only requirement bddatabase lists for this knowledge is just talking to them, yet that doesn't work and there are no amity options.
Does anyone know what I can do to unlock knowledge for these npcs?
  4. I find it extremely annoying that we have only like 2 NPCs to trade Hunter seals at. It is very time consuming and annoying to travel for over 10 mins just to enjoy this npc services when we have BOSSES spawning all over the world. Why limit these special npcs to 2 towns only? they should be in EVERY main city
  5. Maybe because I have been very sick and using games to take my mind off it, but I seem to have little patience for the game any more, I am hoping my comments will be noticed and the game fixed so I can return for I invested way too much money in the game.

    1. Started out trainng horses and spent weeks leveling until I have several t7 horses 4 male and 2 female. Breeding them gave me another t7 or t6, never a t8 and when I got a t6 from two t7, one of which I paid to breed again,I gave up.
    2. Spent the next few weeks leveling and doing quests. Until I was level 60. I was very disappointed to see I had to kill several just to get + .001. And then when they combined severs it made it harder to get a good leveling spot and keep it. Its hard to keep ones cool when you change severs to get a good spot and after being there a while to make sure no one just left to repair, you use your once a day exp plus only to have someone pop in kill you, race to kill your mobs until you waste your exp token.
    3. Ok just fish, make enough money to better the tri armor you have only to realize you can not afk fish because the servers kick you off after a while. And worse sometime they kick back in so you think your still fishing but a few hours later you realized you caught no fish and ever esc does not bring up its menu. You find yourself ctrl/delete the game and start over which after a fe days of this you know it is time to quit.
    4. When I sent in a ticket about the days wasted catching no fish, I also admitted I had begun t hate the game. The GM that answered my cry for help very polite me said I played a lot for someone who hated the game and he could do nothing to help me...Well I did play 24/7 I am sick and at home spending time and money on games, movies what ever will take my mind off being sick...But his unsympathetic candor made me realize he was correct it was time to stop looking for things to do in game when upset with another aspect of the game... I guess I keep hoping things would be fixed to make it more player friendly and still had a few friends that played. I tried to join some that went back to SWTOR but realized I still hated the combat. You know, hit a skill ,..nothing unless you tabbed first etc. So I guess I will join the ones that are raising Dinos in ARK again. They have dragons as well now.
    5. I will check the forums to see if this game is player friendly, off and on. If the friends still playing last. But I do not see it happening. I am just glad I was not like the poor guy that spent a fortune trying to get a pet that had combat when the game started. Spending hundreds of real dollars to get the correct pet seemed too much like gambling to me and I can find more enjoyable games if I want to gamble. I did fall for the spend real money to get another breeding from a horse but when the T7 gave me a T6 I knew they had gone too far to kick us while we the players were down.
6 If Afk ever works I may try fishing aging on an older pc while I invest in a player friendly game. Then if it looks like I can upgrade my armor that way I may try again. But who am I kidding, there will be new games and if a game starts out player unfriendly it is hard to recoup and after that GM was so mean I kind of wish they wait too late to fix things. The cool thing there was enough cool things to try in this game to keep you hanging in there, which gave them plenty of time to listen to unhappy players.
  6. Hallo Leute,

  7. There seem to be tons of people who are able to steal from this NPC. I've been trying to figure out how to do it for the past 30 minutes (Looking it up), but it seems that no one has this problem.
I'm just trying to get Craft Permits (Golden Armor with Patterns & Finest Casual Clothes For Women).
Is there something I need to do, that I'm missing here?

    EDIT:
Actually I've just figured out that you need to stand behind her.
    Woops
  8. My request ticket is #229761 but I want to see if anyone has any suggestions that could help me.
I'm stuck at the NPC named Claus in the Western Guard Camp. The Black Spirit wants me to take a quest from Claus, but he offers no quests. I'm super confused on what I need to do because now I can't summon my black spirit, even though he has a quest for me, and I also cannot do what the tutorial says. This locks up a lot of options I cannot do now because I'm stuck in the tutorial.

  9. Hey folks,

Let's get right to it! BDO has lot's of content... Hiding somewhere behind lot's and lot's of boring NPC talk.  And everybody knows there is lore and story behind the setting of BDO but it just doesn't show, you have to actively search for it.
And as most of us will agree upon, long searching for the lore and story in an MMORPG-sandbox doesn't actually help players to bond with the world.  The motto of "The New World" is quiet cynical: "A world every player can call it's home" but what does that "home" mean, when you don't have a clue on what's going on in the world?  I value the efforts of the devs for updating this game in an insane fast way, I do, but they should focus on more than just new area's and awakenings...
The feeling I have amongst many other players is that you can do like a lot of things in BDO but there is no point in doing them unless you want to be the best crafter, do endless pvp, grinding mobs, have the best gear, reach way beyond your awakening.... A lot of those listed things you can do in other games, games that are too superficial.
I have some ideas/concepts that might make players bond more with the BDO world:
A lot of NPC's are too stationairy is one of the first problems I want to tackle. I know it is quiet demanding of pc's but please make NPC's do more than just wave or some emote, let them walk around, carry out their jobs, "talk to other NPC's. I know there are NPC's who already travel and do other "tasks" but not quiet enough. Look at skyrim, for example that maid at the forge, in the noon she was forgeing weapons, at another point in the day she was in her shop, at night in her bed,.... Or the witcher for example, with it's breathing world, NPC's do stuff, they have emotions  and interesting conversations with other NPC's,...A second improvement would be more and better cut-scenes, even for side quests. In the beginning of the game there should be more explanation about the black desert (I didn't know why this game was called black desert until the valencia update came out... And still it's a weird name but that's off topic). Cut-scenes help the players to understand why they must do there quests, what's going on in the world, what bad guys there are or wich wars there are spreading across the land. In side-quests it would be nice since some NPC's their stories will capture you and you know why you do that stuff, instead of reading every (boring) dialogue or book to get a grasp of what's going on. Cut-scenes would clarify why goblins are at a certain location and attacking those villages and cities, why you have a blackspirit folowing you what it's purpose is and if has a secret agenda or not, is that spirit evil or good for you who knows.... And yes there are people who will know the explanation for these questions, but frankly, as a player you shouldn't have to search for everything you want to know aka knowledge system...More and better dynamic events, look at Guild Wars 2 (and for some aspects to WoW and Diablo III) not the greatest game(s) in my opinion but what I did like about the game(s) is the fact that there were dynamic events on a massive scale. Not just some world bosses spawning twice a day or some whale ready to be hunted. But actually mobs attacking  villages, dosens of raids through high level area's, mob elite hunting parties on the road that "terrorize" the lands and you had to kill them to "free" the NPC's of the danger.MOST IMPORTANT: Tell a better story and make it more visible/highligted. Entice players in the BDO world to become the hero or villain what they want to be, help them to create their own story with unique expierences but try to maintain a red line in the story. The story should tell what the "black" desert is, the danger of the black spirits, where your class comes from, why your soul is linked with a black spirit, what goals you should try to achieve  (like killing a bad guys, evil mobs,...). The BDO devs will bring the players new domains/realms/area's but what is going on there, what is the story behind those new landmasse's, are there new bad guys (like sorcerers, necromancers, dragons) players need to kill to "complete" the story of those new area's? That being said, I hope the devs will notice this post and take their time to think about what's being said here. If they do, and they implement it in the game in a right way => then I am certain that players will bond more with the world; there will come a massive amount of new players to BDO because then there is finnaly an MMO who really differentiates itself from others by creating a gameworld where players can dive into and lose themselves, following a good story line instead of what other MMO's do ( => killing mobs = the entire game).

  10. Hello! Since some time now certain knowledge, if obtained before they were added to the in-game list (H) have become unobtainable, and hasn't retroactively been marked as obtained.
    There's a lot of these NPC's out there, and i imagine it differs from player-to-player in which NPC's they'd discovered before the issues were fixed, but here are some that i personally have noticed are bugged;
NPC ID: 44140, NPC NAME: Ashley (Tarif Guild Stable Keeper)NPC ID: 41244, NPC NAME: Haim (Cox Pirate Island Currency Exchange)NPC ID: 41243, NPC NAME: Gafur (Cox Pirate Island Ferry Keeper)NPC ID: 41242, NPC NAME: Hazelnut (Cox Pirate Island Blacksmith)NPC ID: 41241, NPC NAME: Yiscule (Cox Pirate Island Blacksmith)Reproduction steps (this one is hard):
Implement NPC that doesn't have knowledge entry in the list but does "behind the scenes".Talk to the NPC and unlock the knowledge (done on first chat).Implement the knowledge entry for the NPC in a new patch.NPC will show up as ??? in the knowledge list, but the knowledge discovery won't be triggered a second time upon talking to the NPC againProposed fix: Add a dialog to claim the knowledge if you don't have it (like it was done with NPC's bugged in a similar fashion), alternatively add it to ALL NPC's that have knowledge that can be obtained by talking to them.
If anyone else have bugged knowledge caused by the same problem, reply and i'll add it to the list!
  11. I was thinking what if stores could sell the items you sold to them to other people. I was thinking it would be more realistic if the NPC would try to sell all the items people give them. maybe they could even mark items people need up to 3x more then the the shop owner buys them for just in case people are looking for junk items that people didn't need and give more use to the NPC that gets ignore a lot of the time.
Maybe have some kind of sorting system so people can look for
    crafting materials
    misc items
    weapons
    armor

  12. Post on Too many NPCs in Suggestions

    By Etelle, posted
There's just too many NPCs. It's excessive. I dont understand the need to have so many especially when it can have a negative impact on performance. Look at Calpheon. It is absurd. Now Calpheon is already a convoluted disaster. The tight corridors that you're forced to traverse through, congested with way too many NPCs. I just dont understand why.  These NPCs all have collision and it can actually slow your movement down. I dont know if its the amount of NPCs that cause severe pop-in issues but i would assume. How about in Calpheon when youre crossing that bridge loaded with an NPC army and elephant and whatnot. Those NPC dont even load until i've crossed the bridge and this all causes obvious performance hits. Why not just remove some of them? And by some i mean half. I think its something simple that would increase performance and reduce unnecessary clutter
  13. Some already montioned it, but still what about romance with NPCs. This is rather enjoyable in other MMOs, proposing a full imersion in the game. Rp is not always the best way for shy people. Anyway this could be a good point for many gamers in BDO.
  14. Post on Kutum npc went missing? in General

    By AGGK, posted
Cant find the npc for kutum to reset his knowledge. Anyone know where did the npc goes?
  15. So with 10-minute trading cool down per every channel hop + a few hours for reset + every reset gives only 30+/-7 items, this has been unplayable.
NOT ONLY players cannot fully benefit from the system, one player can already fill all quotas per channel.
It means every few hours, there could only be 10 or so players benefit from the system.
Doesn't that sound like a need to be remade?

  16. Post on NPC-Kostüme in Vorschläge

    By PyramidCat, posted

    I. Suggestions to make game More User Friendly & Fun

Never call something a reward that you would not want yourself for it does not sell or just takes up Inv space,(Stack ALL item drops).
'Reason for need' example: A game should make you feel good not one letdown after the other. I have bought in real cash all the weight things but still find myself changing to weight adding armor in the middle of doing quest as well as running back and forth to town and/or wagon. THIS CAN BE DEPRESING when trying to see how fast one can level or win tokens for an event. Too much time juggling weight and space wasting items. Do not get me wrong I love the money for selling drops but then I spent hours running around to the correct NPCs to sell them all only to discover I have to figure out a way to handle the weight gain for them to trade it. Changing EVERYTHING to sell to any general store would be an AWESOME help.
Add and/or remove code so RNG is more player friendly. Tip the scales to the player. Shorten the window for cool drops. Exp: A Witch earring is cool and the value would still be there with more drops as we would just combined them more; trying to upgrade rather than adding so many to the Auction House.
Please add the choice to ride a horse off your wagon so one does not have to cross country to change from wagon to horse, for even after buying stable room, few have more than one stable with enough room to put the wagon in and heaven forbid if you can not but the wagon in for a colt was born and named before putting away the wagon.. This can be programmed by copying then changing the code from your stable. It would be so cool to ride wagon for the inv/weight space, then ride a horse back and forth to the wagon.
Please move all NPCs that are next to major NPCs so one does not keep clicking the wrong NPC so easily. It is so bad around some NPCs I had to get more coffee to try to wake up and wear my glasses, lol. Not a biggie but helps if like me you have bad eyes, clumsy, or just a bad typist, to be honest I hate moving my character so much just to talk, I like running in and running out.
Add EVENT things to (ALL peoples favorite thing to do) next time, like cooking;; just a little program change adding chance to get a reward instead of one of the odd dish rewards. And every so many miles a chance for a bag if all you do is level and breed horses. Horse breeders are already left out of so many things like a loosing gambler rolling that dice one more time we have trouble stopping to do something else; for we want to level and see what we get next expecting a winning colt this time.
Stop the wall that kicks one off wagon and or horse or give us a reward each time to replace time lost and at times horse lost. I sent you photos of where it happens already but can resend if you need.
REDUCE lag by moving all horse levelers to a separate sever the way GW2 does parts of their game then : Add an inside mini game where your horses just race around a track and each mini game starts at certain times like the GW2 bird races and we can level and watch our horses race each other. That would be more fun than the other race you have for we do it as we level the horses and watch our own horses race each other not other people. Horse and wagons on the same track as we level our wagons and horse shoes to go faster that means money for you.
Add experience and other important stats in the chat so we see how much experience and what not we get for each monster kill as we test out different equipment. When games give players some programming control there is a reason behind it being the first thing we get/ask for . When I program I add it as a UI window option.
Give us a separate equipment inventory so we have room to change equipment for what we are doing. FFXI had that to protection and you changed equipment even during a battle using macros for some equipment needed to be changed out as you switched staffs etc. Fun things like that had me playing that game for years until I caught a FFXI employee stealing characters to rob their bank and inventory.

II. Explanation of reasoning behind suggestions.
Job Change: Program Monti Carlo slot machines To Programming Games
    Or
    Black Desert Ringer Gremlin

I had had a few depressing weeks when the Black Desert Ringer Gremlin, (GM Dave come to mind? http://bannable-offenses.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html) seemed to play games with me but today I was protected for I had a special day planned.

It was not going to be a reg day for today when I jumped from bed to desk, I knew when I started Black desert Online I would rush to the barn and see a new colt! A colt that would be special for I had spent months catching and training horses. I still had some T4s level 25 to 30 to decide how to combine but I at last I had a barn of T5s level 25 – 30 another barn of T6.

I had gone to bed the night before almost ready to turn into the German boy slamming his key board around as his game went nuclear, http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/angry-german-kid-keyboard-crasher. I will not go into all that had gone wrong that day ..........
.....I clicked the receive colt button and …...How the hell-o did I get that from.....
Ok I knew T5 J (http://imgur.com/a/DaeiQ) did not look special but she was a purebred black and bred to muscle man T5N both at level 25 I was hoping for T6 A...... at the least T6 G-U minus the T6 L&M. ….. I got the T6 L?
Does T6L have duplicates in the random spin? I now have 3 of these guys! Ok, one of them I think my mare was deleveled in points after that hog took off one of her legs and this T5 Solid Black mare does not look as good as the T5L solid black mare but ….. Perhaps two of them combined will give me the cute white cat.
After some leveling of my Tamer I jumped on my wagon to top all my horses to level 30. I use the
Offspring Table (http://www.blackd.de/horse/) but so many hidden factors maybe topping these babies up will ….. Man what I would pay for the real breeding equation...(Caught rambling I AM NOT a second voice in the head of Rand al'Thor 'of The Wheel Of Time but if I keep leveling horses I may end up with my own second voice as my head already hurts and spins.)

I am beginning to think I need a bigger barn to put more quarters in this Casino Slot machine programming. (By the way did you know you have better chances to win with a Las Vegas slot machine than a slot machine in Monti Carlo? I kid you not I tested them myself. I am beginning to think the guys that programmed in Monti Carlo now program games.)

Ok, on the wagon, AFK, I came back after a few hours and no leveling for the loop I had watched before I left now had changed at one end and my wagon was on a fence. No experience from the horses running but I did notice the life on the wagon was spinning faster than ever.

I was not going to let this get me down …....I restarted the loop....came back had not leveled much for my wagon hit the Black Desert Ringer Gremlin Wall. I was no longer on the wagon but nothing had attacked the wagon like killing my poor horse last week so I leaped onto the wagon and rushed back to the barn.

I decided I should change from wagon to horse before bed for it has less chance of hanging up at the end of the loop. Plenty of carrots, auto eat carrots checked, what could go wrong..............

A few hours latter I woke up, looked at the PC screen, Little Zip, (from Texas King Ranch!!) did not level much she hit the wall and I was no longer on her. I reset everything too sleepy to remember that wall resets auto eat carrots.... SEVERAL hours latter I awoke; Little Zip still moving BUT not much leveling for she is walking slower than a foundered horse in 2 foot of mud. OMG I need to level how many horses!!??##@@##

  18. Hallo liebe BDO Community,
mit dem Patch sollte das Imperial Trading vollständig drin sein aber dies bezüglich fehlen einige NPC um es auszuüben bitte beheben danke im vorraus
  19. I'm starting a series of guides about everything BDO. I'm trying to make it to the point without a lot of unnecessary information.
Things that seem simple and obvious to some are counter-intuitive and obscure to others.
The goal is to help people with those things so they can have a more enjoyable BDO experience.
    Please check it out. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOOZskEyN8LYWwad2HXfVDA
Any constructive criticism or further questions are more then welcome!
  20. I have noticed that this NPC wants a certain type of fish, the Croaker". The thing is when you go to give him said fish the turn in button shows "Clown Fish". I am not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet. It's part of the fishing quest lines as you learn how to fish. The quest comes from Purio, quest name : "I cant Admit it!"

    Picture are attached

  21. To craft the new "Finest Casual Clothes" (Costume Mill), which is required for some of the new tier 2 costumes, you must first acquire the crafting permit for that item. The permit tooltip says it can be acquired by "stealing from Caroline, a handmaid NPC in Heidel". The NPC cannot be searched for, and I don't recall seeing any handmaidens in the city. However, I did recall a servant of sorts in the room behind/above Cruhorn Wyrmsbane - where Jordine and the Lord of Heidel are located, and her name is Carolin.
I've gone through about 220 energy stealing from her, and thus far have only about 200 silver and a beer keg decoration to show for it. Does anyone know of any other "Caroline" in Heidel, or has anyone successfully looted the crafting permit from Carolin?
  22. Since we are able to breed decent horses now at a higher rate the market is going to overflow. I am not opposed to this.
But this WILL result in breeders like me being stuck with Really nice, High level, low tier horses.
Who in their right mind would spend 10-million on a T5 When you have enough T6 and T7 horses to pick your favorite for moderately more money.
No one is going to buy a washed out stallion or mare for exchanges when it costs too much. It is a waste of silver.
Breeders get stuck with these horses, after all the time and effort we put into raising them we can't even make a profit from it. It is extremely discouraging and even more frustrating. Our stables get full, and we are left no other choice but to take the loss and in some cases shell out more money just to get rid of it so we have space to keep breeding.

A prime example of this was a very fine T5 mare I bred. She learned almost every premium skill there was, but because she cost so much and was a low tier no one would buy her. Not to breed. Not to ride. And I can't use her, I already bred my T7! I couldn't NPC Sell her because she was level 26+ and I didn't have a stallion that I was willing to throw in the grinder. (I had all T6+ and I'm not trashing a grand total of 30-million in horses just to get rid of one unwanted mare)
I attempted to sell this horse for at least a week. A WEEK. On a game with thousands of players looking at the same market that is awful.

I would ask that the sell button work on all horses at all levels because after a certain point no one will buy particular horses.
  23. Ein Npc namens Komuta buggt in der Mauer von der Anti-Troll-Befestigung fest.
    Ich hab ein Screenshot gemacht.

  24. Edit: Knowledge is also available from Rabam in Valencia, which has the Conversation button. You can 'bypass' it like that.
There appears to be no way to get this piece of knowledge as there isn't possible to increase the amity with the NPC.
The knowledge you should gain for 500 amity as well as the missing "Conversation" button:

There is also no option to increase the amity via greeting as this button is missing as well:

  25. I can't discover the Ancado Coast node. I've talked with the NPC, but the node location was not unlocked on the map, and there wasn't a button to contribute to the node (just Tax information). I ran around the area (thinking it might be like the Islands added with Mediah) but that didn't seem to unlock anything either. Do I need to talk to another random NPC to gain knowledge for this node? Wander the shores (below the cliff that the node manager is on)?
Seeing as it's the only connector between Valencia City and Shakatu Village, any insight on how to unlock the knowledge of this node is appreciated.
