  3. Wie der Titel schon sagt, gehen mir persönlich die ganzen "WTS Kzarka, Nouver,Kutum,Pferde,Lampenöl,Karotte, etc   ONLY for Pearls" so allmählich auf den Geist.
    Die Chatmitteilungen kann man  ja filtern, damit man das nicht mehr lesen muss. Jedoch sind die Folgen auch im Markt deutlich ersichtlich.
    Wenn man nicht irgendwelche Kostüme, Pets oder anderes "gifted" verliert man derzeit die Chance zu 95% überhaupt darauf bieten zu dürfen. 5% der "ehrlichen Spieler" verkaufen ihre Waffen und Pferde weiterhin für normales Silber (Daumen hoch an diese Jungs und Mädels, habt meinen Respekt) und verlangen nicht noch Gegenleistungen in Form von  Echtgeld.
    Ja das klingt bescheuert, ist es auch. Mein gestriger Thread war  etwas unglücklich formliert, ergo verzichte ich diesmal auf Bilder, Namen und ähnliches und versuche den Sachverhalt so diskret wie möglich zu schildern, damit er auch  ne Chance hat hier unzensiert zu bleiben.
    Wer aktuell den Kanalchat  oder den Serverchat liest, sieht häufig  Angebote wie "WTS T7 Horse......blah blah Skill 1,2,3,4... /w me with offer" oder  es werden Kzarka,Nouver,Kutum Kisten geposted. Wer dann das höchste Gebot liefert, z.B.  ein Ghillie Suit,  erwirbt sich damit dann das Recht auf den Gegenstand zusätzlich mit Ingame Währung zu bieten.
    Abgesehen davon, das man doppelt zahlen würde (Ok, wer das tut ist eigentlich selbst schuld^^), die Chance das Item zu bekommen ist im schlimmsten Fall 1:1.000.000, ich wiederhole im schlimmsten Fall. Mit Glück, wenn das Item die Pre-Order Phase nicht skippt und ja das passiert häufiger mal, landet es dann Free 4 All im Markt und der gelackmeierte "Kunde (so nenn ich den mal)" hockt mit Schweißperlen auf der Stirn vor dem Marktplatz und klickt sich die Finger in der Bidding Phase durch, die er zu  80% verliert
    Das zum grundsätzlichen Ablauf des Ganzen, was ich aus meiner Sicht fragwürdig und dem Spiel nicht zuträglich einstufe würde.
    Nicht nur, das derart geleimte Spieler dem Spiel aus Frust den Rücken zukehren, da  ein solcher Scam ja die eigene Schuld ist, nein, der sogenannte damals massenhaft gehypte und boykotierte "P2W" Status ist doch somit erreicht? Geld gegen Items, damit man stärker, schneller, besser wird.
    Meist sind es sogar noch diese Personen, die ihre Boxen gegen Shop Items tauschen möchten, die noch damals in Heidel medienwirksam ihr "NO P2W"- Schild in den Screenshot wedeln mussten.
    Nachvollziehen kann ich die aktuelle Entwicklung leider nicht mehr ganz, vor allem, da der Marktplatz deutlich leerer geworden ist, denn selbst mit dem Launch der Dunkelklinge wurden sogar teilweise deren Liverto Kriegsmesser für Pearlitems  angeboten.
    Zudem werden noch zum Leidwesen kommerzielle Angebote im Kanal/Weltchat  veräußert, indenen man schnelles Leveln versprochen bekommt, wenn man auf ihre Seite/Livechat geht. Was genau dort besprochen oder ausgehandelt werden soll ist mir fraglich, wäre aber schon eine Aufgabe der GM's sich das mal anzuschauen.

    Warum ich das hier schreibe, fragen sich sicher einige. Ignorier das doch einfach, Chat ausmachen.Leave das Game, wenns dir nicht passt, kam auch schonmal^^
    Mir liegt das Spiel grundsätzlich am Herzen, ich möchte hier nicht "rumheulen" wie einige das gerne betiteln, noch Leute an den Pranger stellen, habe deswegen auch auf Screens,Namen & Zitate verzichtet. Ich möchte eigentlich nur, dass sich mal was ändert, denn das läuft derzeit in ne ganz komische Richtung.

    Ich möchte  gerne mal die Meinung der Community dazu wissen (deswegen auch der Poll)  und eventuell sogar die Meinung der CM's / GM's. Ein Ticket schreibe ich aufgrund der extrem langen Wartezeit deswegen nicht, da ich auch nicht wirklich ne Antwort erwarte, die halbwegs was bringt. Die Spieler, die ich ingame drauf anschrieb, das man ihr "Ich verkaufe das Item nur, wenn du mir nen Pearl Item schenkst"  ja mal per Ticket weiterleiten könnte, begegnetem dem ganzen mit nem müden Lächeln und der Aussage, das da eh nichts gemacht wird, ich solle das ruhig tun. Und mit Scheuklappen durch das Spiel gehen, möchte und kann ich leider auch nicht und ich gehe stark von aus, das viele genauso denken.

  7. Quite a lot of topics were made about karma and I have not seen a single poll, but maybe I missed it

    So short introduction... a lot of people is being mad about karma system - it punishes only winners by losing karma and not those who lose the fight -> that allows losers to take over spot (winner does not want negative karma and then being killed by PEN scrub)


    Easy way to rework it would be:
    -1% of xp like it used to be if player dies BUT only if he respawns on node
    -0% of xp when player respawns in town or uses loyalities or pearl items to respawn instantly
    of course not present in node and siege wars
     
    I know this would be rly painfull for spots like pirates to respawn in town... atleast it would bring some need of being polite and ask the party for spot before starting to kill mobs
    and honestly I would much rather respawn in town when someone beats my ass than to lose karma and spot on karma griefers



    and please keep reasonable arguments

    As colorblind i have really bad time figuring allies and enemies during red battlefield. 
    The single difference noticeable between allies and enemy is a slightly red halo around the enemy character name. 
    Why dont just change the whole character name RED? what's the point in a White text with a reddish halo?

    this will help alot in battlefield and Node wars ppl who has colorblindness (right now the setting is a joke, it just change slightly the personal ui, and it is quite useless) and even the whole comunity.

    pls if you think that reading names is really hard bump this thread up.

    p.s. if someone flag for Pvp in openworld, or has bad karma, the name would change completly red, so why just dont apply the same in redbtf and nodewars?

    Hi Tamer followers. The merge is real now. And in the past weeks I had the rare experience to fight many players from other EU servers.
    I was streaming many of my fights on my twitch chanal: https://www.twitch.tv/rximmortal , so if you are interested in some intense fights, you can always join me there.
    I am convinced, that there are many things I can teach a lot of tamers out there. But to do that I need to be sure that the other players wants to be teached, otherwise it is pointless.
    So I am making a poll and depending of its results I will make a video guide, with everything you need to know about PvP ( Arena / Open world ) , PvP ( Siege / Node wars ).
    Here is the guide as promised.
     
    Soon I will add text guide in help to the video guide ( and my bad English ). Where I will explain everything again for more clarity and add minute(links) to the video.

  13. I have a simple question to ask, mostly because I want to see the actual opinion of this three ring circus of freaks we call a forum, but hey, maybe the community response will surprise me!

    TLDR: In a form of a game  (especially this one), when (Any class) Goes on the offensive, should their offensive abilities have CC Immunity / Frontal Guard / CC Knockdown/stun/ or float while incorporating huge damage and a decent to abnormally big hit box with a low cool down? or any combination of these attributes
    This question was based off the reasoning that every class has way to much safety post awakening when they go to damage...
    MAYBE it works in a node war (I doubt it).
    But any time I watch a reasonable fight, offensive action involves risk.
    I'm not going to take the time to name really OBVIOUS examples.

    Can we start to have fair maintenance? What i mean is the EU always has it daytime and the US get it nighttime, can we switch it every second week or month so it falls night in EU every second time and night in the US the other. Would be fair as right now the EU players are pretty much missing one day a week.

  18. One of the biggest grievances in this game is the RNG for Enchantment. Simply put the enchantment system is roundabout and is a time vacuum, a vortex that time cannot escape. Its to much so i came up with some ideas that will take most of the bad luck out of the equation.
    Short Explanations:
    Add a Sacrificial alter that accepts black stones in exchange for Fail stacks. The more fail stacks you have the less likely you are to get more Fail stacks. This is basically a time saver, allowing you to get back to grinding.
     Make Forcing worth it! and not lubriciously expensive like it is now.
     Add a progress bar that gets randomly filled every time you add a stone to it. Each attempt will still decrease durability on the item, though less than normal due to the lack of fail stacking in this system. maybe 1 Durability on + enchantments and 5 durability on Pri Duo Tri Tet Pen Enchantments each time a stone is added to fill the progress bar. The bar can just fill up in one stone or Thirty, but it will always eventually upgrade.
    Long Explanations:
    Here are my ideas for better just simpler ways to handle enhancing gear without decreasing the difficulty to get it (On average) Feel free to of course modify this
    Have a alter or piece of furniture that accepts stones to randomly give you fail stacks( 1-5 Guaranteed. 6 -10 75% chance, 11 - 15 66 % chance, 16 - 20 50% chance, 21 -25 33% chance and then after that start needing to sacrifice sharps). If a stone fails to give you a fail stack then it just eats the stone.

    Simply put this won't make fail stacks that much cheaper it will just streamline it to where you won't have to build fail stacks on Reblath armor and then degrade it every time it goes to +15. Lower the average chances to get fail stacks by a bit to make it fair and put this in the game so that players will not have to go through the roundabout route of upgrading and then downgrading Reblath armor. Add a slight cost in silver to make up for the fact that they aren't using reblath even.

    Drag and drop this alter into the game if you want. limit the fail stacks that can be built on this alter to like 35 - 40 to keep players from abusing it to much.
     Make forcing enchantments worthwhile instead of so expensive. The cost of forcing is far more expensive than the cost of rolling the dice. Its five dollars to get a teddy bear from the top shelf of the prize booth or one dollar to flip a coin and get the teddy bear. We get it, the top tier items in this game have to stay rare and difficult to get, but can't you make forcing upgrade competitive with Rng instead of the clear loser.
     Standardize upgrading: Each time you throw a Armor or weapon stone onto a item it rolls a random number that applies to an upgrade status bar. Going plus 15 takes 30 progress. armor stones can roll 1-30 progress each time. ( 50% chance of rolling a 1, 25% chance of rolling 2 - 5, 15% chance of rolling 6-10, 5 % chance of rolling 11-20, 3% chance of rolling 21 - 29 and 2% chance of rolling a 30.) once the item reaches full upgrade capacity it simply upgrades automatically. maybe make it to where you can even not get any capacity with each stone used. Make it your own

    For going into Pri Duo Tri Tet Pen apply the same rules but make the bar vastly larger. Example Pri will take 250 points to get too, but concentrated stones will give much more ranging from 50 - 1000 instead of 1-30. 

    This system wouldn't necessarily make getting enchantments easier or faster it would just take out the players who consistently fail to upgrade, each stone applied can decrease durability, therefore increasing the costs to be competitive with the current system as well as to keep memory fragments relivant. All i'm asking for is a light at the end of the tunnel, not just a system like fail stacking that makes you more likely to succeed but a system that grantees success in the end, and will always reward persistence. Giving the most unlucky players a light at the end of their tunnel.Building Fail stacks right now is cancerous. It can give you your fondest dreams or your worst night mare off the bat. You can sit at a standstill trying to upgrade an item while your enemies in other guilds get their weapon to tet within a few tries, or you can do the opposite. What i'm suggesting is to simply take away some of the stress of upgrading in this game, to simply allow players to get that end game gear, and to rid the game of players that leave because they simply get some bad luck. There is no safe route or skill to this system of upgrading, its simply who wins big at the casino in a take all or lose all competition. Consider each of my options for the game, make this game funner for everyone and give everyone a light at the end of their tunnel.

    Not necessarily my favorite visual design, but yeah.. The new one is way better.
    Anything about it is really just nitpicking at this point on my part.

    I've been primarily living out of Calpheon because of the nodes but am thinking about moving to Altinova. I'm leaning towards Altinova because of the workshops, but I like the location of Heidel so I'm a little torn. I'm curious about others.

  24. Decided to make an actual poll to gauge the forum community's feelings on this after another user made a poll that was less than fair. Poll will obviously not be indicative of the game's real population since its limited to the forums going users, but I figure it would be nice to see how the forums feels about this issue, since the forums tend to be one of the more visible areas for Daum to see public opinion.
  25. Many of us love Black Desert because of its individuality and difference to that of most MMOs we have seen.  I love this game a lot right now, but like most things there are always some negatives.
    Regarding trading I have seen many sides to the argument, whether it be preventing gold sellers, or destroying a core feature in MMOs.  Now I don't think both sides of this argument will ever come to agreement, therefore I ask that we can somehow collaborate and find middle ground.
    Trading should definitely be reworked in a way that gives players more freedom, but also limits gold sellers, this should be our consensus.  Now my friends and I have been brainstorming, and have come up with a few ideas which limit people trying to buy gold, but allow regular players to trade with one another.  
    When a player joins a guild they are able to use a guild trading system.  
    If you make a trade then leave that guild within a time threshold you are penalized in some way.  After leaving a guild you are unable to trade in your next guild for [X] days.  Possibly you need you wait [X] amount of hours to start trading when you join said guild. 
    Now personally I prefer a free player driven economy with mostly unrestricted trading.  What do you think we can do to make this better?  I appreciate your feedback!
