  1. Hi, I bought a shark suit to help with underwater gathering, and now i'm slowly dying from the cancer it gave me. So here is how to fix it.
1: if you can't gather on the objects, make it so you can go through said object. (if i can walk through a gatherable bush and not get stuck, why am i stuck on a piece of coral that can't be gathered on)
2: Q and E do nothing.. why don't they work like observation mode where it makes you go up and down?
3:  W and A/D work fine, but why does S make you go straight backwards just get stuck on more stuff? Why not make it so it moves the opposite of W?  so look up you go down, you look down you go up.
4: When you drown and are forced to wait for it to get NEAR the top, just fix it so you actually get your breath of air without being slowed like you have 0 stamina or fully surface.
5: Auto path would be nice, getting kinda sick of have to put a heavy object on my RMB.
6: 360 degree gathering. sucks having to waste half your breath gauge because you can't gather that one thing you need unless you're in the perfect spot. Even pisses me off when chopping trees.. Like really?? when you're chopping 500 trees and have to do a full circle around near every tree, I'm walking around/swimming around objects more than I'm gathering.

P.S. Have the ferries that go from lema to margoria stop at a debris spot in ross sea and margoria sea. would add a couple min for the trip but would be far more worth it to swim to than buying a rescue ship for 300 loyalties, shooting it off, having the boat go to the spot you shot it off at; but for some weird reason it teleported you away from that spot you shot it off, while your group is piled up in the boat which isn't going anywhere cause you're not able to get the boat you just paid for and now have to swim to lema or port ratt.
Thanks for reading, hopefully these get fixed in the future.
                   Sincerely a Salty Sailor.
  2. We have a fish costume now and will get a shark costume with each giving some bonuses to swimming or diving. Couldn't there be some ACTUAL Swimsuits or Swimming Trunks to compliment the "needs" of the people wanting normal swimwear?
We all know you got those sexy and cute Swimsuits hiding somewhere under your sleeve, just waiting to get released when player count starts stagnating.  I mean, this is an Korean MMO, right? Where are the School Swimsuits?!
  3. I want a shark suit! Man this looks so fun!!!!  I can't wait for the underwater stuff to be done!
  4. I've always found swimming to be one the weakest feature in this game. I am suggesting the devs to add a quick and easy mini-game to make swimming a little more "challenging".

    Mouse look = direction
    Left click = left arm
    Right click = right arm
    SPACE = legs "push"
Very similar to the milking mini-game, in order to swim (and swim better/faster), you'll have to time the L-R clicks correctly. To that, SPACE could be used to have your legs pushing the swim (sort of temporary acceleration).
Mini-game could also be applied to underwater swimming.
    Cheers

  5. So, I have (inadvertently) figured out that your "jump" button actually makes you dive (counter-intuitive, and the reverse of every MMO _ever_, of course).  I tried to find a "crouch" button that might make you surface, but cannot seem to figure it out.
In deeper waters, I know you can just "submerge" the camera so that your reticle is facing towards the surface and swim forward.  However, for such areas as water in caves... it is rather difficult to get the room to do this; worse, when you are near the edge of something in an underground river, and try to climb up... if you are not close enough... you "dive", making things infinitely worse (now you are drowning, and not just running out of stamina).
    Any help out there?
  6. Hello BDO Community and BDO GM's!
I'd first like to say how much I've fallen for this game. Its beautiful, fast, and simply HUGE! This post is simply from a casual player's point of view, as even though I'm still learning a lot about this game, there are fine details I feel could attract and hold even more new players.
I have a level 51 Warrior, and as I quest/grind/build my fishing boat, there's always this very small.. (but consistent) aggravation I get whenever I navigate the game's menu screens. A big example is the level of difficulty the "Pallet/Dye" system is to use.  I would type everything step by step but hopefully i won't need to, because somebody made a "how-to video," on you tube. Simply put, the Dye system, and the cash shop system, are overly complicated, with no real reason for the madness.
The second thing I wanted to hit on was the very small issue with not being able to do a one for one swap when your inventory is full. I am very confident that we've all been in this situation; your bag is full after a hard grind, you get back to the merchant, and he doesn't want to do anything with you, until you have ONE free slot.  So you gotta bank something, or trash something, and that is simply not cool. Even though this issue is microscopic to other issues in the game, its a very welcomed fine tune needed to improve the game.
Thirdly I want to add how very very bad the swimming/ water mechanic is in this game. The controls are super clunky in the water to the point it doesn't make me feel that i am swimming, but more like my keyboard just broke, and my character is drunk. The physics of the water in this game will simply rip you out of BDO's amazing immersion. I absolutely love the idea that you cannot do much in the water, because that is realistic, but what I dislike is when I accidentally stumble into a pool of water and the mobs behind me walk through it as if it was air, and slaughter me in my most vulnerable state.  It's always weird jumping into the water, because honestly I couldn't tell you if I'm going to stop right at the surface, or I'm going to sink like a rock to the bottom and hope I left enough stamina in my gauge to swim back up to the top...it's a roll of the dice... x.x
All in all, this game is great and I will be playing this game for a very long time. However small things add up, and many MMOs never feel that its a big enough problem to fix. I disagree, because these small issues are something the player has to tolerate constantly. It's not gaming breaking at first, but again these issues will stack up to the point that the player will begin saying " Oh right, I can't trade because I have to sell something. that's so stupid!"   or... "Omg i fell in the water NOOooooooooo!  *blub blub* STUPID WATER."
I hope you guys don't struggle reading my post! Thank you very much for your time!

  7. been playing for a while and have been getting more and more frustrated at wagons...so i have auto drive running while i get up and get a smoke or when im looking in another window to find some information only to tab back and find that my wagon has auto piloted itself nose to brick with a wall...oh...lovely now i get to play maze runner trying to maneuver the ferking cart in the direction i want it to go while smashing against the wall and wahtever non phantom prop happens to be in the way resulting in frustration not only because of that but ALL OF THE OTHER STUPID CARTS BLOCKING VIEW! PLEASE for the love of all things wonderful and amazing give us a damned reverse function..PLEASE.
another note is that i got onto a player boat for the first time yesterday. we were derping about and testing it out having played archeage so were trying to compare....sadly archeage has the BEST boat mechanics and functions of any game i have ever played...AMAZING....much as i would like that kind of functionality in BDO i have a more pressing problem...swimming...again derping about and i accidentally dumb myself into the drink and we have a good laugh about my stupidity ...then it try to get back on the boat...what the hell? i have to swim forward and slowly turn towards where i want to go like i myself am i ferking boat what the hell...what the hell is this? why cant i strafe in water like any other game EVER...why do i have to sail and turn slower than a goddamn raft >8C. no...no this wont do at all...that is unplayable and makes water no fun at all..ever...why are my swimming controls and maneuverability the same as a damn raft -.- it makes no sense...
small side note...fix fishing...have been everywhere and all i see is  no resourses, so no point in fishing really unless i wanna afk and watch a tv series or three while i wait.

okay my rant is done and will probably get flamed....but yeah in short...give wagons reverse...even if it is slow, and make swimming actually nice because right now...swimming is shite.
also, what is with the tunnel zooming effect when moving fast...its disorienting and in boating cases nauseating almost ~.~ please add a toggle for that x.x

EXAMPLE OF AUTO PILOT DUMBBUTT WHILE I GOT A SMOKE: http://puu.sh/oX740/a11b3bcf41.jpg
had to dismount to take pic or it would have sprinted the wagon forward x.X

  8. Hey!
First of all I would like to say that the game is absolutely amazing, and 1000 times better than what  I expected...And I had extremely high anticipation and hype for this game to begin with! I literally viewed every video of it on the whole internet because I could not wait for release!
That said I have a suggestion for how to make the game even better! The scenery and landscape on land is extremely vivid and alive, however, when you go under water I feel that  it's rather empty. My suggestion is to simply add some underwater structures such as rocks, corals, underwater-reeds, plants, et.c. to make it look less empty. Maybe some new materials for gathering could be implemented here, but that might make it to much of a huge update though.
I also think you should animate a few more fish to swim around oceans, lakes and rivers, to make it seem more alive. Since the scenery on land is so full of life, the contrast between land and water feels very high right now, making the water feel even emptier.
(extra thingy: also frogs sitting on the riverbak et.c. would be really cool)
I know these are a lot of rather big suggestions, but hopefully one or a few of them are doable!  Again I love the game!
    All the best!
  9. What in the world is up with this game.   Why the heck do i have to crash 3 times to get to the dang shore from the fishing spot we all gather at.  This is so stupid.  And from what I can see people have had the same exact problem from day one.    Want to fish in a good spot?  CRASH CRASH CRASH to go sell you stuff. Sorry I'm ranting but I get 15 crashes a day.   If you don't fish and don't have this problem you probably won't understand.   Whats worse is that you CRASH and then have to wait 10mins to use a vendor.   Who the hell had that genius idea?  It happens like clockwork.   I have no choice either.  I like the spot I'm in. Its popular.. it earns me a lot of cash.   But those crashes have got to go.  I swear if this keeps up I won't be playing this game anymore.   How do you mess up afk fishing.. that should be like the easiest thing right?  No.. expect crashing if you swim.     Sure I'm ranting, but someone needs to say something.  If no one complains, no one will know something is broken.
  10. The thing is that, since I began playing BDO, the bug has never been fixed,
Despite a huge amount of players crying about it.
It is really annoying when you are trying to swim back to the coast (because it is hell of a lot faster than using your rowboat (ferry lol), or rather raft (which is useless)), and then you disconnect. Sometimes, one reconnection is not enough, sometimes two neither..
Nevertheless you need to wait 10 minutes to sell your fish, whicj won't be an issue, if there were no disconnections.
Sometimes people just like to fish around, and sell them before they go on their ways, maybe on time, hence they can't wait for the next 10+ minutes to sell their stuff, only 12+ hours later, which sucks, cuz of the price guarantee drop. To sum it up this issue wastes your money and time.
Sorry if I mispelled something or if I was rude.
I think I stood out for a lot of people.
I hope this is not a repost.
I'm getting really mad now, since it's been a month now and the problem is still live..
  11. Stuck swimming/falling animation, in the prone position, prompted to create a signboard or observe. Also with minigame similar to the wheelbarrow minigame at the top of the screen(minigame works ironically).
The unstuck features do NOT work, just resets and falls over again.
This is even exp weekend as well, what about compensation for things like people who can't play due to poor game design? Send us a 100stack of life elixirs. Get with the program if you want to keep players.
Also, when I go to create a new character on a new server, the character starts upright, but then instantly flips over and goes to fall animation and falls right off the screen like below on the character creation screen.
    @CM_Jouska
    Fix this. Fix customer support.

Also deleted both cache files and still does not fix the issue.
Edit: The fix for this was renaming the file version. To versionold.
  12. Weird series of events:
-my onboard sound card stops working / tried new windows installation, tried everything. Doesn't work, will be getting a new one soon
-I log into the game, so as to stay afk and let my crops grow. My farmer is swimming in the ground, with a bar above her head that's very similar to the one that appears during the minigames where you have to press the left and right mouse buttons consecutively. It says BAD in red letters. No kidding, huh... No cursor to speak of, hitting control doesn't work, but I can press F1 to make a signpost, only it doesn't type into the signpost, it types into chat... The cursor is visible then, and I tried /stuck, /unstuck and the in-game button, but nothing happened.
-I try another char. Same exact thing. And another. I even tried making a new one and the char was swimming on the floor of the empty char creation 'room'.
    -I reinstalled the game. Nothing.
At this point, I am thinking that the new feature that mutes the game when you minimize it might have done something to my pc. Paranoid, I know, but it's a hell of a coincidence.
Please, any ideas? I am desperate here!
Update: I have completely removed everything from my pc, and I reinstalled the game from scratch. As soon as it started downloading the 32 gb, I turned it off and I am copyng the files from my husband's pc over to mine, in the right folder. Will let you know if that fixes things.
  13. Hello Everyone!
My name's Rippurr and I play on Orwen. So far I've gotten my Training to Skilled 5, and in doing this I've dealt with many many many horses.  Being that I conveniently got patch day off I figured I'd throw my opinions out there and see what everyone thinks.
The few suggestions I really want to bring to the table are Horses inventory and swimming, transporting from guard camps / outposts to main cities, and training xp.
I know this is a video game but I'm baffled as to how my horse just plummets to the bottom of a river and doesn't swim. It would make sense if say if we fell into the water by whatever means i.e. auto pathing, running through swamps, or my personal favorite..thinking I can make that jump, maybe we get dismounted instead and the horse swims back to shore or something. With death counts weighing in on the breeding system "accidents" like those are something to me that a living creature...such as a horse, would naturally swim to get out of the water, or we have to lead it across the river with its reigns and us swimming or something. Just stop making a creature perfectly capable of swimming be so pathetic in water On the same note their lack of ability to carry weight is strange, I'm a Tamer, and as a little girl can handle more weight than my Tier 4 horse! I understand obviously in leveling the horse they can carry more weight but its just kinda funny that by default a human is strangely stronger than a horse.
When we're out and about and stumble upon some wild horses we have 1 of 2 options if we decide to tame it. Run it to the nearest stable and come back for more, or run it to the closest city to put on the market. I really like how the taming process works and I don't suggest we change anything there, however when it comes to transporting them from boonies back to a city to breed or sell or exchange or whatever we decide to do with them, you've either got to leave your main horse in the stable and run all the way to the guard camp or take the wagon. If that stable is full to get your wagon in you have to remote collect it and then pay money and all that nonsense to juggle it all around. How about we just use the rope in our inventory and say use another saddle on said horse we want to transport, tie the horse off with the rope and run it behind our main mount, that wagon is nice for AFK running the horses around but if I'm able to tame a horse and lead it back that way I say we can do that all the time, we would have to use a rope to do it so its not a completely free ride, its just a common thing to be able to lead horses that way and I think it'd be cool to see it in here.  Split the xp up as if it was the wagon too, just another way to either move or level two horses at once.
When the horses level up as we run around doing our thang, they gain new abilities. If I get roar or quick start they come in at 15% meaning I have to train 85% of that ability and from what I've seen get little to no xp for doing so, I think it counts towards training xp but the horse doesn't get jack squat. If I'm sitting there taking the time to level that ability all the way up I think they should at least get xp each 1% they gain, ya sure you could end up leveling a horse just by sitting there BUT you have to be controlling the horse to do so it makes sense, otherwise not getting bucked off is the only incentive to level the abilities.
Sorry for the long spam but it was a long patch I gotsta go run around and kill things now, Have a good one!

  15. I was exploring this goblin cave, when I walked behind this fence, and tried to jump over a rock to get past it, and then I fell into invisible water..
You can easily climb out of the 'water' and jump back in, but you cannot swim anywhere, as there is nowhere to swim, so at least we know the walls work!
While further investigating, I learned that I can use this invisible water to swim a distance up the wall.
Video of my finding and swimming in said invisible water.

  16. How do I go up and down in the water?  I jumped in the water and my character won't swim up no matter what I do.
  17. Nothing serious, It'll be cool if u can dive in ocean/river. I don't care if they don't add in but it'll be pretty cool, right or neh ?
  18. Post on Some Feedback in Suggestions

    By Geneticdork, posted
Hi there! I didn't play CBT2 as much as a lot of others, so I don't have as much feedback to give. I only got to level 20 and didn't get into much of the workers, crafting, etc. But here is what I would like to add from what I experienced. (Note: Since I'm a newb I may not know about some functions/features, so I may have made a mistake in my bullet points below.)
Lower cash shop prices. I know a lot of people have been saying this. Some reasons for this: 1. Dye is RNG based and one time use (at the moment). That gets costly pretty fast. 2. Pets are great, and I wouldn't mind high prices for them, except with the current breeding system, you'd lose two pets to make one. That also gets very costly. 3. I could keep going on, there's plenty more valid points to make regarding this. If the prices were lower, people may be tempted to buy more. Big prices intimidate (for good reason) plenty of people. But if you lower the prices it'd be more fair and people may spend more that way.Don't make dyes one time use (or again, make them cheaper or no RNG). Since you have to buy them, this gets extremely costly. I know in GW2 you basically memorize the dyes you get. I think that's a really good system. Or, if not that, just make them way cheaper.Toggle for walking. I'm a roleplayer so it'd be nice to walk around without holding a button all the time. Just have a button keybound for it would be great. I think even non-RPers may find it useful.Custom emotes. The current in-game emotes are great. But, as a RPer, it'd be nice to have a chat command (like /e, /em, or /me) to make a custom emote. This isn't something too important/crucial, but it'd still be nice to have.Have an option to "lock" personal residence house. It's awesome to be able to visit other player houses. But there are times where people may not want visitors (and possibly trolls/griefers.) It'd be great if there was an option for this.Being able to split item stacks in inventory. If there is a way to do this, I couldn't figure it out. I was trying to dry or heat something up, but couldn't split my materials/ingredients for the appropriate amount. I think you can split stacks when putting items in your warehouse/bank/etc and when you're selling items, but it'd be nice to split also in your inventory.Swimming. This sort of bugged me. First time I found this out: I was fishing and accidentally autoran into the water. I was trying to find a way out and then I realized I was starting to lose stamina and then health (I think it was those). It'd be nice to not have to worry about that. Or maybe only have that implemented in areas that are "restricted" or too far away from the main map.Horse swimming. Even if the "swim draining" is still around, I don't understand why horses can't swim. In the real world, horses can swim just fine. It's frustrating when you accidentally run into the water while on your horse and start to panic because you don't want them to die.Lantern toggle hot key. Hotkeys/keybinds are always nice.Longer chat length. This would be useful to have for a lot of people. Especially with an energy cost. Seems more fair.More/Change some character customization options. The character creator is amazing. But it'd be even better if there were more hair options. I also noticed that the same hairstyle on different classes may not have the same manipulation areas. Which is odd. Also maybe have a way to make certain coloring (like makeup) not so saturated/bright? Maybe have some colors that are less saturated, and more easy on the eyes?Character portraits should look like your character. I found this sort of odd and confusing at first. If I wanted to switch chars or something it'd be nice to have a quick first glance to easily find my character. Not something vital, but it'd still be nice.BUG (for me)- Cursor not aligned?: The last couple of days of playing the game my cursor wasn't aligned correctly. I would hover my cursor over a button and the button wouldn't be highlighted/selected. I had to move my cursor down a bit until the button was able to be selected. Sometimes my cursor was off the button completely until it was able to be clicked on. That's all the comes to mind right now. And other feedback I could have offered if I experienced more of the game. Again, sorry if I made a mistake in my feedback.
Even with all that, I did really enjoy beta and look forward to launch. I hope to eventually at least some changes/additions in the future.
  19. So currently,  I don't know if it is a bug or not but the stamina bar appears while swimming, it does not let you swim any faster, but it serves as a countdown  as to how long you can stay in the water. Do not mix this up with the underwater timer, that one I agree with because for obvious reasons, you cannot keep diving forever,  but a normal person can swim for quite a while not just 40-60 seconds or so
I honestly found this to be a big bother as when traveling to certain islands that are not connected to land took way too long as I had to get up on land all the time.
I think this system is very outdated from the Korean version and should be removed for ours, we're used to being able to swim unlimited but dive for a limited period.
I do realize there's boats in the game, but certain times that won't be an option for some of us.
And I do like the thought of being able to swim around without having to worry about dying just due to a countdown.  I fell off the ferry and  it killed me slowly, once it reaches 8 it starts draining your life.  The swimming speed is also incredibly slow, and you can't activate auto-run during that so that is also something that I love to see fixed.

I do not know how long this could take for the development team, the swimming and diving is already in the game, but removing that countdown and perhaps increasing the swim speed wouldn't hurt.  Or you can transform the countdown bar (originally stamina bar) to work as it is supposed to, let us use it to swim faster for a limited time and then having to wait for a few seconds, just like with running.  But the countdown needs to go!

Thank you for taking time to read this thread!
  20. An idea I thought of for another dungeon that could be added. This would obviously not be added for a while as they would need to add in the Valencia stuff first. It would be to have another end game dungeon that requires group play. Maybe you would need materials from the Valencia dungeons to even get to this one.
  21. Intro:
So while i was listing off a couple of features that could be expanded on, tweaked, adjusted, or just plain added to the game post or pre-release (post release is totally viable, understandable, and probably a better option given the current work Daum has to put into localization, but even if it's for post release expansion updates, we should talk about it now) I realize that i had a lot to say, so I've broken it down into Combat/Quests, Housing/Shops, and Aquatic exploration/Boats. You can see which it is in the title (no duh). With that said I'd also like to state that I understand this is Pearl's work of art an they have every right to do with it as they please, that said they have shown aren't totally against listening to the suggestions of their player base in different regions and would even very much like to hear this kind of feedback. So if at some point i sound like im making entitled claims as to what this game should have, remember im just making a suggestion and defending the reasoning behind it. that is all.
And with That out of the way, lets move one to the topic at hand:
    aquatic exploration/boats
parts of this i mention in other posts and a different thread, but this can be a centralized point for these ideas.
Lets Start at the basics, Swimming, First off the time limit at which you can stay in the water swimming is rather low like very low. a little research has shown me that the average human that knows how to swim and swims with the minimum skill level we can assume our characters have by their animation, can swim continuously (or at least float in the water where they are) for approximately at least an hour. the range is more of an hour to two hours. which in game, is not equivalent to real time hours, but also a lot longer than what the game is currently offering us. Yes we can level up our max stamina to swim slightly longer but it's not by much. I'm not saying remove the limit (though that will be an option in the poll), since that would kill the bit of realism the game is going for, but i am saying extend the limit.
which brings me to my next point of aquatic exploration. please add in some caves that require you to take an underwater entrance or some flooded dungeons that have you do some swimming to solve puzzles to advance further. There is a huge untapped potential in the oceans, rives and lakes that BDO is just not utilizing. which makes the ocean seem like less of an ocean and more of just scenery. the fact that we can swim alone is going to make some want to explore what's below the surface. please add a few things there. it's depressing diving down below to see nothing and realize we have mere seconds to surface and climb on land, not because our breath is low but because our stamina limit for swimming is low. it's honestly depressing. Some underwater exploration would definitely add more depth to the game (no pun intended), and allow the player to enjoy more of BDO's world. aquatic exploration would probably also be greatly appreciated amongst the player base i feel.
which brings us to underwater combat. which i understand the lack of it, it doesn't meet that realism you're looking for, but would it be that hard to add specific gear that allows underwater combat GW2 style. for them, depending on your class you had 1 to 2 of a set of 3 under water weapons, which wear the melee oriented spear/harpoon, the ranged harpoon gun, and the magic oriented trident. I'm not saying copy them. But if you don't want to have the classes fight with their weapons underwater, have special underwater combat gear. this would make not only PvE possibly more Dynamic if things are added to ocean, sea, etc. but also PvP, using players as slow moving, guided torpedoes to attack other boats, or board them stealth mode style and engage the enemy on their ship. Which would definitely add to the fun.
as for Boats, i know there are plans for more boat designs to be released, including larger boats, but please also consider multi-manned boats/party boats. Boats that require a crew, or at least having a crew gives it certain buffs and boosts. This would be something, both clans and guilds would definitely like. as well as frequent partiers, and can only help add to the PvP scene. maybe even the PvE scene if more things are added to the water. (don't over saturate the ocean, add things, just not too many, or make clusters of enemies, spread them out logically, similar to the whales). this will also encourage Party play, which currently isn't encouraged well enough. people can also role play as pirates and the like.
on the topic of more Boat designs, House boats. Boats that can function as living quarters, of course, this may be a bit more complicated to implement, as it becomes a question of it they should be docked the same way normal boats are or if they should remain in the open world because of the properties they'll have. But yeah Boats that have the added function of doubling as homes/residencies. a home is nice, but a home that romes, is sometimes what people really want. (btw idk how chests work exactly, i know they have to do with storage, but if they cat as their own storage within a residence it'd be nice to implement them here too, if they link to a storage you have in town, i guess, it would have to link to the closest storage space and cost more for the house boat, or link to all storage spaces, but require you select one everytime you open the chest to conduct business). There is a lot to say for the role play community her as sometimes just hanging out at home is nice. also taking your home with you while you adventure around the island would also be tons of great fun.
Dynamic sea. Add in waves please. make the boat bounce on the wave, and have the weather affect how rough the sea is,with storms, bringing in huge waves that threaten to capsize a boat if you're not careful. Make the weather and the state of the sea a dynamic duo that makes sailing more exciting. have these moments when rain increases the number of fish (and mobs if you add them) or increases the chance of getting a rare fish (or mob) when you're out at sea in them. have rough seas also hold that prospect making the decision to sail through one, or run from one that much more weighted.
For the most part i scratched the surface of this topic, and hope discussion of how to properly implement this, or whether it's a good idea in the first place can be had. After all in my mind it works, but lots of things look good on paper, doesn't mean they'd work in practice. ill edit and link the other two parts in the post. I think I've discussed everything sea related i wanted to talk about. looking forward to the communities thoughts.
side note: Dynamic environment and quests?
also do you like partying up?

  22. Post on SWIMMING in Suggestions

    By BedBugs, posted
First thing I did was JUMPED, perfect!
Next I went RUNNING.  That's pretty good.
Next I went to jump off cliffs.  Jumping off cliff was great.  Almost got stuck on the way down in a hole like with bushes - took 4 minutes of wriggling and jumping to get out.
Went swimming looked okay but the speed was slower than a snail - SWIMMING speed needs to be increased, maybe with time/more skill in it?
The menu system and interaction with the npcs felt outdated.  Felt almost as bad as FFXIV (1st release).
Love the right and left click for attacks.

Didn't like how nodes were lit up like a Christmas tree though - might as well paint the nodes bright orange.
The combat wasn't any challenge at low levels - was more like target practicing on sitting ducks.  Increase them low level mobs hp and speed maybe - LOL.

Graphics wise and game wise it looks good - I'm sure it'll improve as the game gets near release.

    BUT

Gender locking classes and no race options is a BIG BIG BIG BIG HUGE turn off.  Makes it just another typical Asian mmo.

Will keep checking BD out until release to see the changes....
