    I thought it would be cool to have a Vampire/Scholar/Alchemist class; taking inspiration from the Tudors and the jewellery they created, and the anime series Full Metal Alchemist, and Escaflowne...I think the class should use silver weapons, and jewellery  and orbs to use ethereal attacks - players have a range of creatures they can summon but must chose one and develop that creature - I love the idea of summoning an empty armour set to fight enemies; and it would be cool to mount it and use it in other ways as well...Also I think the class should be tied into the trading system - as when have we ever seen a poor vampire!?
    Making a class that can fight independently (and not be some horrid buffer only character) and be a great addition to any clan - but specifically also tied into the trading system making better deals.
     
     
     

  2. Hallo liebe Black Desert Gemeinde,
    Ich liebe Trading und Black Desert hat ein wahnsinnig gutes Trading System. Deswegen habe ich mal bissel die Lage analysiert, aber bin nicht fertig und vielleicht kann es noch ergänzt werden. Ich habe ab Level 35 bei Black Desert nicht mehr gelevelt und dennoch bin ich Level 50. Das liegt daran, dass ich gerne Trade, Fische usw. Ich mag Trading einfach ^^.
    Worum geht es?
    Hier zeige ich MEINE ERFAHRUNG, welche Items durch Farmbetreibung am meisten Profit bringen. Allerdings habe ich es nicht mehrmals angewendet, sondern basierend auf Kalkulation. Bis jetzt nur Special Crop Crates Diese möchte ich mit euch teilen.
    Ich habe dabei auf die Zeit. Basisverkaufspreis, Platzbedarf beim Farm, Sammelanzahl  und auf Special Crate Erstellung geachtet. Da ja beim Sammeln ja nicht immer die selbe Menge bekommt, hab ich kleine Differenzen zu einem gemacht, damit der Profit sich nicht verfälscht. Z.B. Wurde aus 33 Karotten, und 35 Zwiebeln, einfach bei beiden 35 gemacht.
    Zeit ist hier wichtig. Ich habe gemerkt, dass alle Produkte andere Wachstumszeit haben. Bezüglich der Zeit habe ich mal zusammen gefasst.
    Es ist nicht fertig, aber das Ergebnis bis jetzt

    Kurz zusammengefasst
    Getestet als Apperentice 5, Sammeln bei 100 - 119 %
    Onion bringt den meisten Profit, wenn man dauerhaft neue anpflanzen würde, nachdem man gesammelt hat (Zeit 24 Stunden)
    Sunflower bringt den meisten Profit, wenn man nur EINMAL anpflanzen würde, daher nur 4 Stunden und 40 Minuten.

    Ein wichtiger Punkt. Garlic: Ich habe dort entweder Pech oder es ist wirklich so. Ich habe bis jetzt bei 3x 27, 29, 30 bekommen. Daher hab ich mal den Wert 30 gelassen. Sonst wäre es wirklich bei 3,3 Million. Werde demnächst neue anbauen.
    Erklärung
    Auf der linken Seite sieht man ganz normale Werte, die man beim Farm hat. Ein paar hab ich hier im Screenshot ausgeblendet (aber ist in Spreadsheet vorhanden), da ich sie nicht testen konnte und, da ja es Zeit braucht die anderen fertig wachsen zu lassen und zweitens braucht man die Seeds, die derzeit in Marketplace nicht zu finden sind. 
    Wie man hier sieht ist Sunflower mit 533.400 Silber super Profit. Schauen wir aber nun die Rechte Seite an. Da sehen wir, dass Onion auf dauer mehr lohnt.

    Die rechte Seite zeigt die Werte an, was wenn wir theoretisch 24 Stundenlang etwas wachsen lassen könnten (zum Beispiel, direkt nach dem Sammeln den neuen Seed platzieren). Da ja nicht alle gleiche Wachstumszeit haben, haben wir am Ende andere Werte. Das liegt daran, dass in 24 Stunden manche Dinge nicht schaffen auszuwachsen. Die brauchen halt länger als ein Tag. Würde man zum Beispiel 8 Stunden nehmen, würde man Hot Pepper nicht zwei mal sammeln können, wobei Silk Honey Gras gehen würde, da ja insgesamt 6 Stunden und 40 Minuten brauchen und es unter 8 Stunden ist.

    Hinweis: Gelbe Markierung bedeutet, dass der Wert zu großen Abstand zu den Durchschnittswert hat (ca. 35). Darum sollte man nochmal überprüfen (neu anbauen).
    Kopiert euch den Spreadsheet ruhig und trägt ruhig eure eigene Daten ein, wenn ihr wollt.
    Oben rechts könnt ihr die Zeit eintragen. Allerdings bitte immer in dem Form 13:30 für 13 Stunden und 30 Min. Bei 24 Stunden einfach 0:00.

    Habe nun Garlic Farm angelegt. Bekomme ca 30-40. Also ist alles ca 35.. und sollte daher das meiste Geld bringen.

  4. I have some questions about delivering quests. Take a look at examples:
    Example 1:
    You have full inventory with many fish items. You want go to trader in city to sell them.
    If you try sell it, you get message you must make some room.
    I make one space room in inventory.
    Sell items away now successful.
    What is the result here? Only money. Still at least one space free and more room because sold fish items. Nothing filled up!
    The issue here is there is really no need for extra space room. Because sell is direct money in silver coins, so one space room requirement is pure nonsense. Technically said, you can sell items away with full inventory.
     
    Example 2:
    Daily quest in Heidel pass. I must chop 2x log for NPC quest. Again, my inventory is full but i have 2 logs.
    Deliver it to npc causes warning i must make some room. 2 spaces room at least!
    When throwing useless items away and i have some room, i can deliver it.
    After delivering, i have still 2 spaces room. Wut? Here actually you got CP exp and Energy recover reward. Nothing more. No items, no money, nothing more what should USE 2 inventory spaces!!! Again, this is another nonsense to make 2 empty spaces for such rewards.
     
    I can make more examples, but i think most quests WITHOUT item rewards (only money or EXP reward) will ask you make at least some room in your inventory. Of course there are quests with real items rewards, so you must make some free room is needed. That is good. But i cannot see the logic in rewards which needs so many empty room in inventory but in reality doesn't fill up, it's still same empty room after delivering... Just pure nonsense! Might because the EXP rewards are also "labeled" as real items? Then it explains why they need some inventory room. But that is wrong logic.
    Daum, make the quest delivering more logic, so EXP rewards and money will not ask more for some free inventory space. Only real item rewards = need some inventory space.

    Greetings from Olvia, to everyone and all!
    My name is Horvus Malaven, an Apprentice Trader, and I grew up in this quaint and peaceful towne. Truly! I've lived here all my life. I'm the eldest of triplets, but my brothers Harald and Hordale have set off into the world, so I rarely, if ever, see them anymore. The Malven Family used to bear some weight in Olvia and used to operate several foundries. But, after mother and father passed away, the family fortune was lost to past debts, and I inherited Malaven House {No.7-1} at Olvia with nothing left to my name but a few pieces of old furniture and a rusty old sword.
    Chief Igor Bartali was kind enough to offer me a job working with a local expedition researching some ancient ruins east of Velia. It was good working with the people there, and before long, our job was done and I had been paid a handsome wage. I used my new found fortune to begin enterprising for myself, where I have met with some good success as a merchant trader. So, now you'll find me wandering up and down the roads from here to Heidel, seeking out faire profits wherever I may. Some hard work and diligence will make the Malaven Family name once again a name to admire.

    All the hard work has paid off. The business has outgrown the market in Olvia, so I sold off the warehouse there and used my amassed fortune to purchase Malaven House of Epheria {No.2-1} Mercantile, Tavern, Inn, & Commons. The first floor seats a tavern with lodging and commons on the two floors above. In the rear is a mercantile loading dock where goods are transferred and couple of modest shop stalls facing the alley.

    Malaven House of Epheria has grown substantially as an enterprise, if not so much as an industry. Investments into Epherian Shipyards proved to be a venture beyond the capacity of the Mercantile's resources. While production on the project netted two small ships for the Merchant Fleet, the intensive costs of acquiring the necessary materials to maintain the endeavour were found to be currently notwithstanding; as a result, the entire development was cancelled. The massive funds allocated to shipping were redistributed toward expanding the company's overland trade routes, finding much success opening new lanes in neighboring Mediah, as far east as Altinova. Old contacts were secured along Calpheon's southern wilds, as Behr & Trent renegotiated their previous agreement and ties were renewed. On a final note, seeking a technical advantage above competitors, the board approved the deployment of the innovative 'Marquesa' Merchant Wagon, which is already seeing a high gain in profits.

  6. There are several major issues with the UI at 4k resolution. I will list what I have seen below:
    Trade Vendor UI is bugged in 4k resolution and does NOT allow you to see the bargain menu as its behind the trade objects:UI scale does not work correctly with 4k resolutions. If you increase it past 100%, the icons turn grainy and the text is a mess as if you're reading through a pair of glasses not meant for yourself:.The above issues are fairly major things to enjoying the game at 4k. The Trade Manager bug is enough to make the game completely unplayable if you don't go to a lower resolution to allow for seeing the bargain menu.
    I know the UI scaling issue has continually been brought up here but the other issue I have no resolution for it. It ruins the game completely for me and anyone else playing at 4k.

  8. Hey fellow traders,
     
    I love the trading concept in this game but it seems it doesn't pay at all compared to other hobbies. Such as fishing or grinding.
    So for exemple a steel crate can be sold for 21K but it is made of 10 steel ingot, which are all worth 9K at auction house.
    Even with 30% tax, it's still much better to sell the ingot at the auction house than to use trading...
     
    What do you guys think ? :-/

    I started to learn how to fish, and now I'm starting to get some green fish, which I can dry, and it appears that maybe I can make packs out of them, and then presumably take them somewhere, when I learn to do that.
    More immediately, I notice the raw fish seem to have a decent little silver associated with them, and some 'guaranteed price' for some period of time (looks like a 24 hour clock), if sold to 'a trader'.
    My question is, I'm not really sure who to sell it to?  The fish vendor doesn't want them, and I can't put them on the market?  Who are these traders that will give me the 'guaranteed price' if I can find them before the timer expires?

    Before I start I want to encourage everyone to post constructive feedback, this is not a place to be passive agressive or attack others based on their PvE or PvP preference. I would like for this to result in good feedback, remember the goals is to create a system that works for everyone and that is both fun, engaging and rewarding. This is going to be a long post, please take your time and read through the whole thing before posting.
    A couple things to keep in mind:
    System has to be bullet proof, things to avoid are:Preventing people from exploiting the system will be a challenge, for instance think about the following scenario:All players involved should feel like they are contributing and getting rewarded somehow, there has to be insentive to do what you are doing.If you have not read the latest Dev post here's a quick rundown of what they are trying to develop.
    Bounty Hunter System
    Ok so a while back I talked about a system that sounds similar to what the Devs are suggesting, but mine has an added twist I will explain them in detail here:
    Hunter/Thief/Trader (HTT) System
    Things to consider about this system:
    PvP Ranking/Profession System
    I set the PK zone to Valencia because I wanted to keep other areas safe from this system, it's so that PvE'rs can have a safe zone to farm. Bounty hunter system is still in play and players can still PK eachother and set bounties.
    Flagged Channel system
    Ok that's a wall of text, please feel free to share your ideas and give constructive feedback. Again, this is so that we can create a system that we all can enjoy and have fun with. It's meant to make BDO do much better and improve the overall gameplay. Please don't post things like "If you don't like it play another game" or "PK'ers don't deserve anything" you have a right to your opinion, just don't be a jerk to others.
