Can we lower the cost to force enchant?

Seriously I tried failstacking and I can't even get past 12 fails. I got my grunil gloves 1 - 15 with no higher than 8 fails and I went 11 - 13 on 0 fails consecutively. The force enchant option does not properly represent actual chances for how many stones it takes to enchant an item (on average) and is therefore a noob bait button. It's only going to hurt new players and not help them, so please fix this.

No, if you want 100% rate pay for it.

The point of forcing is that it's the worse option, in terms of stones and durability ON AVERAGE, but it's guaranteed to succeed. Your singular case is not descriptive of the norm.

I tried getting my grunil helmet to +14 without forcing in hopes that it'd save me a few stones but that resulted in a +32 failstack. I mean, forcing does waste a lot of stones and has a lot of consequence but at least it's guaranteed success rather than a gamble. I think most of the time you may find more success in regular enchanting but there are cases where forcing does have better pay off.

They increased the  success rate of enchantments 1 - 15, however. the force option currently is far worse than the reasonable, which is my point. Alternatively they could lower the success rate of green items since they succeed so often now...

Forcing is already the worst option considering boss equips exist. If the average user is still using green equips they should be able to force to +18 at the least with ease imo to put them on a 'level' playing field

Sure. Let's lower the cost from "force enchant" to "a stern look." 9_9

How about instead return the failstacking process to what it was. ;)

No. Only "gold" gear you can force is Ultimate gear that was originally blue.

They increased the  success rate of enchantments 1 - 15, however.

Are you sure about that? Was this posted in patch notes anywhere? Success rates 1-15 seem the same to me as they always have.

They need to lower it back down then. Cant build failstacks for shit on green items anymore lol.

Man, reading this made me think to just force enchant my weapon to +20.  Then, I realized we are only allowed to force enchant up to +18. T_T

The OP is actually 100 percent correct IMO. They secretly changed the fail chance to be much lower NA/EU. The force enchant needs to reflect that. It was how I decided how high to attempt an item if I was building stacks. Now it says 34 stones to force and goes up at 10. The only reason I can see them not changing it is that boss drops share the same force levels and I dont think they made them much easier to level.

Do what I do when I get a +15 Grunil piece to 15 with less than 30 stones, sell it for huge profit. Then buy 3 times as many blackstones and try again, repeat as necessary.

Why? That is the only thing that keeps most of the players playing the game.
