Has anyone considered that that thread was made just to create the storm that it did before put that into the game. I mean how many of the **** storms that we went through since beta were we warned about in advance?

If they actually care about community feedback (which they claim they do), they will think twice about what to do next maintenance.

I will repeat again, many customers demanded forum access to paid accounts only, yet we haven't heard anything regarding this from Daum. So much about caring about community feedback. The forums are a mess, we offered a way to fix it and got ignored.

This wednesday will be a very important day for the game. Will it be ruined or saved last minute? We'll see.

It is unfortunately extremely unlikely that their direction of greed will be reversed. Not everyone learns from history, so they are doomed to repeat it.

Look forward to the day this model of business in gaming is abolished for the unabashed greed and manipulation of people who want a fun hobby, not a gambling addiction.

Wednesday will be the day that DAUM loses its reputation in the west and WILL NEVER recover. Remember TRION.

They will only listen to customers on matters they can manipulate for more profit.

Do your job mister moderator. Consolidate the obviously QQ threads.

And everyone who wants to inform Kakao of your opinion, tag them.

This forum has lost its civility by a bunch of proxy.

They won't "fix it last minute". They literally can't at this point.

If they go back on what they said then that means they got all this negative publicity and shitstorm for nothing. The community will still hate them for considering this "p2w" they were going to implement regardless and will constantly go on with shit like "oh, you never know when they'll get serious and ACTUALLY go through with their p2w plans!!!!!"

If people have already left I doubt they will come back anyways because of above. If they don't add this stuff it will piss off the people who destroyed all their endgame gear as well and did other stuff to "boycott" or get revenge for this change like chargebacks (even though it was due to their own sheer stupidity that they did it)

We have how many videos and gamer articles that are going crazy over this crap and they are even starting to throw around wrong facts and generalizations; with lazypeon now aboard this "hype train" for ez views it will just get worse from here.

The anti-p2w crowd exploded way too hard and from my point of view are actually pushing them towards being p2w due to now there being no other options. Regardless of what they do this games reputation, and their own is pretty much destroyed. So what would be better (from a business standpoint), to waste all this drama and sustain this damage just to stall out the implementation of anything "p2w" in the communities eyes; OR, bite the bullet and actually go through with it, have pissed customers regardless, but be able to make more money off the loyalists who stay?

You seem to be under the impression what the community voices matters. It doesnt, never has, never will.

Every change made has been for one reason, immediate short term profit. If they cared about the players and long term profit at all the last few months would have been completely different. Starting with the servers they chose to operate the game on being absolute shit, the lack of customer service, and terrible game balance.

There is one thing (in my eyes) they could do that would SOFTEN the blow if nothing else.

(Optionally announce a server merge and) announce free to play server(s) to run beside our current buy to play server(s). It's like having your cake and eating it too.

Who even takes youtubers seriously? They are the cancer of this community due to all the misinformation that they spread.

If Daum changes their mind last minute, most people will still be angry, but at least they 'proved' they care about feedback. I wouldn't mind the oversensitive bunch of 'entitled' people leaving because they were offended by Daum for consiering such a change (IF they cancel it off last minute). In addition to that, they should consider the paid forum account option and the forums might finally be a place for constructive feedback again in which users would gladly participate without getting their family and unborn children insulted for not agreeing with a 12 year old, and it would be much more pleasant for Daum employees to read and note feedback, due to higher quality forum content.

Which, you know, ends up with the same result either way - addition of said p2w content.

Idiots without brains and who only listen to word of mouth/gossip care - you'll be surprised at just how many people there are that fit into that category.

And how long will that "proof" they care last though? This is an asian mmo, it has a cash shop and no mandatory sub (and even if it did I highly doubt it would make the cash shop completely dissapear), they won't make consistent or acceptable profit off of permanent outfits and pets forever.

The one and only thing I hope will never come here is gatchas/mystery boxes. But those are already in game as well.

They could throw Jouska under the bus. He's the one with his neck out; toss him, elevate Atheon, start communicating better with the community - and oh, yeah, regulate this dang cesspool - they could still come out ahead. I don't think they will, but it's interesting that Jouska's been offered up.

The dropped the bomb a week early so everything would calm down a bit before they implement it.

Also!, what they said was rubbish! if they want people to experience cash shop items who can't afford it, put a quest line in the game that rewards them with some cosmetic stuff..lol their reasoning is idiotic and only morons would believe they care about the community. They just want the monies!
