Sorceress or Berserker?

Hey everyone. So i'm here, stuck (once again -_-) on which class to pick as my main.. this time i want to choose between Berserker and Sorcerer and, this time, it'll be a definitive pick.

Anyways i tried both of those classes and i really like them.. what i really love about them is their awakenings, they're just great.

Which class do you guys think i should pick, considering my plan is to pve a lot, until i afford the gear to pvp (and then pvp a lot, possibly)? Also, a curiosity regarding berserker: do you guys think it is possible/viable to pvp, with the berserker, using the least amount of grabs (which, honestly, i don't really like a whole lot.. it's kind of cheap to win by ccgrabbing to death, that's just my opinion of course, might totally be wrong).

Thanks guys! :)

From what I've read, zerker is pretty top-tier, with and without awakening. Our game version got special treatment thanks to a whole mess of constant crying, which resulted in a sorc nerf that to my knowledge isn't present on the other versions. It's still a solid class but you'll get more out of zerker with the same amount of effort until awakenings, and even after awakenings when Sorc moves back up in the world I hear they're still pretty comparable overall, with zerker doing better in large-scale PvP. Trust me, though, not having any grab at all is flat-out depressing sometimes because of how much room for error it gives the other person.

Most things in PvP are cheap. Be prepared to get chain-CC'd by competent players, especially any other class with a grab (Ninjas seem to be able to do it quite well). If someone leaves themselves open enough for you to land the grab, or you time it well enough to catch them through desync, then go ahead and finish 'em, you've technically earned it.

Update for sorc awakening: damage and overall potential are through the roof, but achieving that potential is much harder. It becomes a hybrid class that must switch between amulet and scythe perfectly in order to succeed, because you lose much of the amulet's flexibility while in scythe mode.

Before you could be an okay sorc with reflexes alone, now you really need to think a few steps ahead or you're gonna get yourself mulched.

Game is build around mass pvp synergy between classes

Sorc and zerk cover 2 completely different roles, but I think zerk can contribute greater disruptiveness than sorc and cause more mayhem that can succeed a push in mass pvp

Choose which style you like the most, sorc is out of question harder to outperform a zerk, given the tackiness and overall toolkit of zerk
