Um just out of curiosity, have ANY of you checked the period for the event???  It states clearly the period starts 9/15/2016.  Today is 9/15/14.  The event doesn't go active until tomorrow!!!!! 

And when it does go active, you have to completely log out of the game then log back in to claim.

yes and no, in europe, its 2.14 am and it is the 15, read carefully kiddo

It gives a message saying "Cannot apply item results to memory."

Then nothing in inventory and nothing in mail.

all 3 of my accounts get this as well

It says 0:00 UTC 9/15/16...which occurred over 2 hours ago...

This happened to me as well.  Came home to my fishing character, switched to another character, and had the cannot apply item to memory error.

LOL it "states clearly": 

  • Start: September 15th, 2016 (0:00 UTC)

That would be September 14th, 8pm EDT / 5pm PDT.   As in the daily reset, a few hours ago, that we have every day and have had since the game opened.

 

Your last statement was the only accurate part of your post, and it STILL DOESN'T APPLY TO THE ISSUE BEING REPORTED HERE.

 

edit:  Oh yea, having this problem, too.  I considered submitting a Support ticket at first, but looking at this thread, it seems it's a wide-scale issue, so that shouldn't be necessary (tickets are for more personal issues).

I have the same issue on Orwen, with the Attendance Reward showing a stamp, but I never received it in Inventory or Mail.

no one has pointed out that according to his post, the event doesn't start for another two years.  "Today is 9/15/14"

Yup, had the same thing happen. I did send in a ticket, but obviously it's pretty much a system-wide issue at this point.
