Leveling from 55 to 56 using Daily grind hour bonus ?

30 posts in this topic

Posted (edited)

With the 200% bonus, my level 56 witch is consistently getting about 2% exp when soloing pirates, with 148 ap and 178dp. Is this normal?

I also see very few other players on the pirates isle. I am not sure why.

Are u maybe on the wrong one?

Not long. 60 and up is torture.

Corrected that.

BDO progression in a big nutshell :

58 is a cakewalk but of course it isn't if u are competing with geared players at sausan which u can not kill efficient at lvl 55 and no gear.

Level to 57at manes is way better, Elric is nice too.

1-56 takes a day with average gear (tri weapons duo corals jewelry)  if u have main or wall spot at sausan. 56alone maybe 2h, at weekend and night with bear elixir ect.

57 takes considerably more maybe 10h, if u play 1h a day at manes and use xp buff ur get 56-57 within a week.

58is closer to 25h, two-3 weeks,  at this point even if u started with bad gear your gear is getting average or close to it(15m a day min times 28 is tri liverto plus offhand) . That is with passive income of course,  it matters at this point of pprogression. One month to DUO Grunil tri weapon duo coral.

58-59 takes around 50-100hours, depending on how serious u ate about hitting it. Xp crystals and constantly using xp elixir help but at that point silver matters more.

At that point u get your duo jewelry and start thinking of boss gear if u want to pvp or think about tet Liverto and tri jewelry.

That is if u are casual your second to third month just going casually still but to see progress it needs a couple of extra weekend hours or maybe going up to 2h a day.

At bad gear grind less, quest and lifeskill to know what and how to get your 10-30m of daily income no matter what you do. Now is the time to step it up or take longer.

59-60 will make you around 800m.it takes 50-100h this is not fast but still easy going and u see hourly progress. There is no need to rush some people ground it weeks ago if u waste 10h a day it is fast. If u go only 1h it takes some months,  always have some tears now to not lose xp. U should have taken all or most of the weight limit for loyalty first but there is always some for a couple of tears.

As I said only 60+is horrible if u even care, progress is slow and only spending your life gets u to 61 within this year.those that do make 100-150m a day, tet boss gear,  duo ogre...  All the good stuff incoming.

Those that stay and keep it up will get to 61 within 1-2months,some are there now they started at 58 months ago, always ahead. This is what I consider painfull. This is when tri ogre,  TRI crescent, pen kzarka come into play and this is when they totally out scale people. While making all that money is nice the upgrade are a pain too,  u can go months without getting a tet.

Normal people get there too this is what KR is at right now, they had it harder but more time, nothing is hard in BDO it just takes time. Stay with the game is what matters, never stop the lifeskill and fishing or crates whatever ur doing even if u have a week of no time try to spent the 10minutes to keep it running.

If u hate the grind at some point lifeskill make easily 60%of grind and only takes some clicks per hour.

Just don't tell yourself how hard it is, not getting to 58 there is no excuse but at the same time start slowly and enjoy daily income being meaningful and improving your gear before u start grinding a lot. And stay away from sausan unless your guild carries u.

Did you mean that it is unusual that I only got 2% exp per half hour with 200% bonus (56 witch, 148ap, 178dp), or it is unusual that there are not many other players around (usually there are just a few other players)?

I am also wondering whether I am on the wrong island or spot for pirates. I have been grinding on the Kuit island, where the NPC Shilly is located. I have got 2 red coral rings there so far. Is this the correct island to grind on? Are there some popular spots on this island that are not easy to find? Or should I grind on the island to its south which has a cave full of pirates? Or some other islands? Please let me know. Thanks.

Yes Kuit is the right one. U know there is the other island that has some quests to do.not that many mob there and no players.

I am surprised that u didnt meat many people, pirate island is crowded and to go anywhere u go through main which has ALWAYS somebody grinding from 8in the morning to 5in the night.

2%xp is what i get at night in 30minutes using 200%buff if i go really hard and dont loot but this is 58-59, your level it should be more.

Gz on the red corals, its nice getting them.

There is a lot of "harder" to find spots, most plebs only know main and even grind around at the dock where u arrive. U have 4or5 spots that u can go for.

Main spot, hill spot, jungle. Those are the best imo after 58.

Then at the west of the island u have another spot around the beach maybe it is enough for 2players but i recall that the mob level is lower, more grey ones. Doesnt matter for u and this is the spot that i found to be empty most often.

North of the main spot people call it the jack spot? I never stayed there it didnt feel nice for me but some people like it.

Then on the way to the hill spot just below it there is a couple of good pulls too, if its crowded people use that too and if your gear isnt up there yet(your ap thats with a hit offhand? if it is u should have no problems grinding more xp .if it is the ap offhand y u have lots of room for easy improvement within the next weeks) this would maybe be the most profitable one for u to be in, nobody will want to take it from u because it is a bit too slow for geared players.

Thanks for the information. I think I went to at least the main spot, north of the main spot, and the spot around the beach. It seems that I got significantly more exp at the spot around the beach. I think I might have got 2% exp in 30 minutes around the beach with just 50% buff in exp, but I only farmed that spot once so I am not entirely certain whether my record is accurate (it could be 40 minutes instead of 30). Since you mentioned that the mob level is lower there, it makes sense since I killed faster there. It does require more dogging and healing on other spots. I will go back to find out. The 148 ap is with the steel dagger, so yeah, I need to gear up more.

There are often a few players at the main spot, but unlike Sausan's, it's not crowded enough and I have no problem finding groups of mobs to kill there without getting into others' way. Maybe I chose some low pop channels to play in. Lately, I haven't played much during peak hours in weekends though.

Get red corals, it helps a lot. more people know though so prices are going up currently, it is still a very good jewelry at duo already for below 100m each.
