introducing pvp system for bdo in owpvp

how the fck can these developers cant get this right in bdo..

I played this game @ launch till level 50 orso.. found out that the open world pvp is pointless.. they responded with.. yes we know we will be fixing this ( read like 20k post of suggestions from pearl) and its still a mess

 

Your solution is right here:

 

PVP Currency:

- killing enemies in open world pvp will drop pvp currency ( item or whatever you come up with)

- cant kill same enemy within x amount of time

- cant kill players with a higher difference in level of x

 

its that simple.. MAKE IT HAPPEN

Your solution is right here:

 

PVP Currency:

- killing enemies in open world pvp will drop pvp currency ( item or whatever you come up with)

- cant kill same enemy within x amount of time

- cant kill players with a higher difference in level of x

 

its that simple.. MAKE IT HAPPEN

Bit like WoW with Honor, Karma penalty should also increase/decrease based on level to to stop 55+ killing fresh 45s. Would also help those who whine about Karma bombing if they get less of a hit each kill for a same level player..

Complaining about people killing lower lvl player in this game makes no sense, as you can't even know what lvl they are without asking them lol.

Complaining about people killing lower lvl player in this game makes no sense, as you can't even know what lvl they are without asking them lol.

Some skills only unlock at 54 so you can tell by the effect for example range shotgun changes, but im pretty sure if u 1 shot a player you probably are 5-10 levels above them. That or the gear difference is massive meaning they are a newer player.

Awakening also for 56 only so yea again you can tell by certain skill effect their level.

Good joke dude.  And btw if you one shot him that means you already attacked him so it s too late already, and i will still one shot you if you are wearing reblath even if you are lvl 60.

You can always judge by how fast the kill mobs compared to you. The whole 1 shot thing doesn't happen to me, took a warrior quite some time to kill me, i think he paused when he didn't 1 shot me.

Awakening classes dominate  pre awakening classes so far from what the forum cries about, so in that case level is a important factor.

To be honest the idea of PvP Currency is a perfect fit for open world pvp, however i would enact a few changes:

1. Make the PvP Currency character bound, and unable to be stored

2. When the one who flagged dies, they lose a portion of the coins they collected

3. Make the rewards for the tokens very hard to attain, requiring someone go exceptionally red to gain a large number of tokens, and can't get back to positive karma easily. However, since the negative karma player has a higher chance to lose his tokens on his death, they should get good rewards at the end if they manage to stay alive and farm these bloody(working title) tokens.

4. Have the system also reward bounty hunters who take these people down, giving them "justice" tokens. These tokens arent dropped on the death of the player as they were acquired while doing something positive rather than negative. Same concept of having you collect a large number of them to turn in for rewards.

5. Also need a system that prevents people from exploiting the system to get the rewards, by having two friends kill eachother and gather these tokens, such as a daily limit you will receive tokens from that individual, who will instead drop trade items they may have or something like that, which i would cap you can get 10 coins from any one player a day, for both the negative and positive Karma players.

Feel free to rip my ideas apart, since these are all just suggestions for things that could be implemented to make this system more balanced. Tell me what you think, and have a good day!

If you read 20k worth of post you would know they already ruled this stuff out some time ago.

Nah no point in ripping your idea apart because the devs/pubs said no some time ago
