The party health bars are cool. It's also interesting to see a 188ap/over 350 DP musa in play xD

Looks pretty fun, would be nice though if they were to implement other modes / objective PvP, capture and hold strategic points etc... 

As it stands, it just appears to be organised group red battlefield.

Thats Godna, He's been running that kind of gear set up for quite a while. He uses the same set-up on his Maehwa too.

this, if they insist on having an arena or battleground at least give us something objective based.

On a giant list of things Tera did wrong, Corsairs stronghold was a shining beacon of good choices among the bad. It wasn't perfect, but god damn it was fun.

How? It's a deathmatch where you stay dead, nothing to do with score. I mean sure, objective-based PvP would be great, but calling this "organised group red battlefield" is so wrong.

Well its just testing, it looks really stupid when GodNa is so hyped and focus on killing when enemy members waste time chat talking with GM :D

 

Looks really nice, seems like every member have 3 lives and there is 5 mins limit time...  Hope its rewarding though, cause i hate pvp modes in game that not gives worth rewards for pvp achievements...

Every member has 1 life, there are 3 members per group.

Hm... So you want something where you can pvp and try to hold a point? Maybe even take over/destroy the enemy's point? Oh wait, we already have that :o !!!! It's called Node wars and Conquest.

Not sure what you expect for an ARENA beside... you know... pvp in an arena ._. 

Not saying they shouldn't implement other ways of pvp, just saying that maybe you shouldn't expect a PVP arena to be anything but an arena to pvp...

OMG i love that bg so much, I did CS daily for all my 8 characters everyday for over a month lol 

And even I've left Tera for many years, i still miss that bg

No what I'm saying is something which would require small scale PvP/tactics (not the current zerg/cluster ----- fest that is node wars) that can be done as much as you like, not the current once or twice a week node war which lasts 2 hours. 

It would be nice if there was different game modes, capture the flag, team death match etc.... I mean that arena looks pretty sweet and it will be going to waste if it just team death match as what i saw in the video clip. 

I mean with that kind of arena they could have even implemented PvP chariot racing and things like that, some real Gladiator stuff.

Still the same crap pvp for dummies no skill pver relying entierly on gear power & lvl, but in a arena.

Personally, my favorite PUG'ing arena minigame ever was Fort Aspenwood from Guildwars.  It was sort of like a siege mode or predecessor to a Rail Cart mode because you had to push through several chokepoints by having the "Meta" be Disruption VS. Disruption so that one team's Pressure or Assassin mains could break open the Gates or cut the supply lines of the other team.   That's a super smart Meta because it takes the focus off of just ganking the weakest players for points or turtling a boring Cap-point all day like conquest

 Meh, the GW faction pvp mode was more the occasion to do "stupid" build you would never play otherwise. Was very fun for that tho ( and it was so much filled with "pver" that was "free kill" 90% of the time xD ), that was more a "relaxation pvp" xD

But, nothing better than gvg, or 4v4 arena, or pug arena for fun.

 

And in the end, whatever pvp mode was good in gw1 because the base gameplay + real balance was just... the best i've play since that day. ( despite de skill butchering during Anet "balance" )
