Easy class? "Op" classes?

23 posts in this topic

Greetings!

Long story short, i returned to play tha game after a year ish break time, since my friend bought the game, and so we leveled a character (he a wizard). I personally went with blader, but found it boring on 30, so fast rerolled to Sorceress, and i have to admit it was fun, and now she is 56 with a +7 scythe and all, but basically its just a class to farm money with, since i really wanted to play Dark elf since i heard about it .

Then again i saw a really cool playing ninja and rerolled, to have fun with a bit, but its not for me : to much effort to put in for a class only to farm money with. So i wondered what to play ...aside from maybe just grinding with Sorc...

I have to say : i dont really think there are really OP classes in this game, atleast for pve...maybe some do have a little bit of edge in some parts, but lets say its more about : "Needs less effort to perform really good."

I am not really in that much endgame, so i dont know much about indepth balance, and pvp, and stuff, so i would like to ask the community to help me : What would be good for : an easy low effort fast money farming class right now?

Anyone first hand experiance?

Hmm. Whell we did have talk in guild about "how cool the rangers are with melee and all" , bust most of the ppl had really bad opinion ,"that its 2 button class" and how boring it is. Even trough the most players are Rangers in my guild...and i assume most players do play Ranger anyway.

So thats the general opinion? Rangers are fastest and most easy? Your personal experiance to?

That doesn't compute: More effort->More perfomance.

Pick anyone and become an afk fisher then.

Rangers are the go to class if you don't want a difficult time in pvp and pve. There's also warrior and sorc

Rangers get outfarmed in PVE by sorcs/zerks/musas and have to spam mana potions nonstop unless you make seperate weapons with extraction gems. PvP they are really good, but I honestly don't think they are that OP as they are super squishy with no holdable block

I have a 58 ranger, 58 kuno, 59 zerk. I have benched my ranger though.

Wiz has always been the Easiest OP class (by category of Pure Face-Rolling no skill while abusing pay 2 win Horse coupon skill minmaxing) and everyone else getting Awakenings didn't change that until people noticed that the Ranger grab  (Why in the living f*** did those morons back in Koreas even think it was acceptable to give the #1 ranged/charge class a grab in the first place???) was even more EZPZ exploitable.

Ppl QQ about sorc being easy but that's more a Latency/Netcoding problem then it is an actual skill design imbalance.

Zerkers probably got a little overbuffed but I used to fight them all the time before awakenings and they had it had it pretty rough actually.  I'd actually argue they had it slightly worse than Warriors and Valks back then just b/c it was so much easier to read their moves and penalize them when they got stuck in longer animations

yet wiz with same gear is still no match for awakened classes in terms of farming speed ect.... we've really been hit hard in the ass when it comes to anything over the past 3 months I'd say. Like max cast speed I cant even get a residual off before a sorc completely wipes my entire pack, that and if you do some how run out of skills all you have is mma for 3 seconds and no one horse wiz's anymore cause its pointless especially with awakenings coming out may as well learn how to sit your ass on the ground. PVP is nice but with little to no survivability we get picked faster than anyone else unless all you do is focus on dodging and moving a ton while still trying to heal and buff your party. I wouldn't call wiz/witch op atm in the past for sure but as of now not really. (maybe as soon as awakenings come out)

ranger, tamer, wiz/witch, zerker. PvE you want something with some good AoE. Best for pve is tamer, comes with pet and has a few AoE but the one you use the most you just spam on hot bar. Pet is like another party member. Characters can get 7 mobs per person, so with tamer + pet it's 14 mobs. So it makes pve very easy and fast paced.

If you want pure grind class your options are blader or sorc

its a simple fact that you will flat out make more money with these two classes

if a ranger grinds 100mil, the sorc and blader will grind 150mil every single time

anyone that grinds with these classes is at a total advantage

Whell, i rolled a ranger, but since i didnt know a single combo, took me a day to learn how to actually use it. Maybe i should have gone with my already lv 50 warrior. +15 weapon helps a lot, but still.

I assumed ranger might be more fun after awaken, sort of feels weak even with 115 ap at helm on 52-53. I guess its the awaken that makes her more way more op,(does it?) If warrior or musha has around the same dmg at that part, might as well could have gone with them...they are atleast not that squishy and dont need so many pots.

Looking at the answers ,most of the people say the same 3-4 class, Its actually good, there is no clear 1 op class in this topic.

Man, no offense, but it really sounds like you want an easy mode button.

Get a horse + stirrups. Get on your horse and auto attack every single mob in range with your ridiculous AoE basic shot. Took a ranger 15-50 in 30-45 minutes(?)

On normal level sorc or kuno are disgustingly good pve or small scale pvp. Tamers are the best all around grinder though. DAT pet pull can out grind any sorc in more unfriendly rotations. If a sorc can get an optimize 1area, tamer can optimize 5 areas.

Kunos though...are fast... They can beat musas easily pass a certain gear level. Words spin to win but kunos spin around the world without the draw backs of musa.

And all are fairly durable in small scale

On the high end...rangers... Once you get to a certain kill speed and mob type rangers start dominating... They really can output on the higher areas assuming gear carries.

Yeah, i see what Kuu is saying, i even leveled a ranger to 53....but i really hate the sound of : You use bow even as awaken.

I sort of wanted to mix them a bit, but really no point of rolling one to be effective, if you want to play her uneffective

After that i rolled Musha and got awaken a day ago or so...Pri spear is ...dunno..feels worse then tri Katana and feels overall worse then 15 amulett, +7 scrythe Sorc. . . I still cant decide...i guess ill afk fish till dark knigh or smt :D

Sounds like BDO doesn't have a class you like or your so picky you can't find a class you can enjoy.   I believe it's the second one.   Have fun fishing.

The Ranger, Musa, Sorc that you tried out are highly mobile classes that move around a lot. You on the other hand need a class that you can play "lazy", without paying too much attention and use just a couple of combos to PvE fast. I think Witch would be pretty appropriate. Witch is the least mobile class, your mouse movement will be minimal and the character stationary for the most part, and you can literally 2-skill PvE, then ultimate teleport between mob groups and the occasional HPMP replenish. It is also spectacular and satisfying to watch fighting. And the new outfit is the best looking outfit I ever had. I never thought I would ever say such a thing but, 'Fashion is important'. 'Nuff said.

PS: You can also level up a witch pretty fast on a horse up to 52-53 (like a Ranger, but perhaps a little more involved).
