Node and Siege War times changed - [January 4th - 18th] - updated

Greetings adventurers,

We are experiencing an issue with our event timers which causes changed node war and siege war times.
The problem is supposed to be be fixed with next maintenance on January 11th 18th.

For now the schedule is as follows:

@CM_Praballo can you give us a reason for 2 hour node wars instead of 3? pretty sure if you polled EU/NA servers everyone massively in favour of 3

It's to give Conquest 1 hour more. Not sure why it couldn't be 3 hour node war and 4 hours Conquest though :/.

PLEASE rethink this. In the majority of cases we've been stalemating because there's 5 to 9 guilds on every node we try to grab. I have no problem with that but everyone is too well matched in a lot of cases, and thus, 2 hours ends up being not enough time to even win. Two hours just isn't long enough at all. I say that even as someone on the East Coast who is up until 1 am right now warring because the time so so late for me...2 hours is terrible.

I am in agreement that it needs to be 3 hours.

Node wars also need to start an hour earlier since we are no longer on daylight savings time.

Don't give us this change please, theres always 3-6 guilds on nodes with med sized guilds and they end up emancipating

2 hours? WHY?

To make it faster?
Well with that time all those money nodes will never be captured because they usually have 6-8 forts and after every week when its empty more guilds wants it. So after 6 empty weeks, the node will have always 8 forts. SO it is impossible to retake.

Lowering times is only for those guilds which are MUCH stronger than others. For other medium guilds wars will always be draw.

Do you guys even see what these node wars look like these day, 6+ towers on every node and you think 2 hours is a good idea???!!!! 

 

Oh and if any GM wants to see a video of our last node war...err cluster fk, I can provide it. 10 towers  and 3 hours wasn't enough. What is going to happen is a bunch of nodes are going to stale mate week after week and build up enough money for a top guild to come in and zerg everyone for a huge payday. Please change it back to 3 hours like it has been from he beginning.

Please don't change node wars back to 2hrs @CM_Praballo . When they were 2hrs, there was an average of over 5 nodes per night that were stalemating. That is an absurd amount. A 2hr limit is simply not enough time with how many guilds are competing for these nodes, often 6+ and I've seen as many as 11. What's more, the community was extremely frustrated with the 2hr limit and when the 3hr limit came back on the 28th it was met with great joy and has been very successful since then with far fewer nodes stalemating. If you want a happy playerbase and a thriving node war system, please keep node wars at 3hrs.

We apologize for all inconvenience caused.

 

PS: Several players gave feedback on preferred node war schedule and we want to let you know, that all feedback will be considered as well as internal date to determine the best node war times. We will make changes to the schedule in the future if needed.

Thanks for the differentiation in time ! Now the guilds can choose if to play a shorter war (Node War) or longer (Conquest War) depending on their needs, it's a good system imo fkmQlVE.gif
