Is BDO the prettiest game ever made?

Not even close to the bestest graphic. Tho this game somehow managed to attract far more of the braindead fanboy types than any game ive ever played in the past 8 years.

Bless has the potential to surpass it from what I've seen, but I'm waiting on the combat revamp before I delve into it too much. There are a lot of things done really well with BDO graphically, and with some cleanup it could be even better. It's pretty well done overall, that's hard to deny, though the combat clutter takes away from a lot of that.

this demo is by far the best thing they can push so far atm with the DX 12

but you need a hell off a comp to run it ad ultra they use 4 GTX for it O.o

but will you spend 10k ore more dollars/euros to play it ??

but its stile amazing how far they can push the limits now :)

There isnt a game who uses this technology yet , everything in this demo is rendered in real time and even the hair is rendered its not textured.

that guy on the demo says this is also in game

but its just a test how far they can make games now

i remember old days the first crysis  that game was way to heavy for players to play ad max setting

most don't even had a good comp yet

and with this later games running on DX12 will you spend 1000 off dollars/euros to upgrade your comp to play it ??

Honestly what's shown in that vid is cool, but I really don't think most players are worried about all that. Having something with the graphic quality of even PS4 games or pretty good PC games would be fine, so long as it could render those things in real time even with a mass of players on screen. All those extra details will be wonderful to see one day in MMOs, but for now pretty and playable is the name of the game. I don't think that if you polled MMO peeps they'd say that seeing pores and sweat is at the top of their list for level of graphical fidelity, on top of which players with 10 fan, water-cooled rigs are not the norm and aren't going to keep you in business =p

UR4 and Lumberyard level graphics that work would function smoothly even in more congested areas would be grand.

Its like running on 4 Titans. Its a tech demonstration I think. There is like no gameplay.

I think FF 15 was a result of SE's Luminous engine. But it was obviously not full throttle when it was finally made into a game.
