Siege guild tier list 4th of February

22 posts in this topic

Posted (edited)

Going into this week, we were fully expecting to see a change up in regions that would have allowed for the big 3 to each claim their own castle, but it did not quite pan out that way. This has led to a shake up in the rankings:

S TIER: Barcode

S- TIER: Manup, Gravity

A+ TIER: Alloy

A TIER: BlackRose, Lotd, Vision

B TIER: NewEra

B- TIER: Critical, Audacity, Insomnia

DED TIER: Iconic, Wolvesofwar

SCAMMED BY SERVER TIER:   ChoNation, Juicy

Explanation:

Barcode: They showed why they are the number one pick this week with a tactical outmanoeuvre on ManUp's base in the early minutes to secure a guaranteed win. BC who were close by, came into their base in the first 5 minutes and wiped their entire siege weapons and also brought their fort down to 50%. They however, have room for improvement if they want to hit S+, as their grouping seemed uncoordinated after realizing they had a guaranteed win if they played as a guild. Props to BC as well for having essentially a 1v1 against ManUp as Insomnia/BlackRose focused only on keeping NewEra detained for 95% of the fight.

ManUp: ManUp came into the fight with a healthy amount of confidence after garnering the assistance of B tier guild, NewEra, giving them a relatively fair 2v3 in the home of the Valencian Sun God. They made multiple critical mistakes in this fight:

  • Bad base placement
  • Starting the fight by focusing Insomnia
  • Not having a sufficiently sized defence squad in place even though BC built nearby

I am aware that ManUp apparently had issues with resurrecting which caused them to lose their base faster than expected. Even with this taken into account, they still made some grievous mistakes that would have extended the fight by another hour minimum, and given them a fighting chance in this siege.

Gravity: They did what they had to this week to secure themselves the much needed guild funds to afford their masterful tacticians, who to their credit, deserved the paycheck this week, securing the help of 5 guilds to basically guarantee themselves Mediah, versus Vision. They took a decent amount of time, though one has to consider the difficulty to break down castle doors. It will be interesting to see what it took to gather this army ,and if there will be a castle rotation, or a whale in Gravity that has taken out a second loan to secure their help.

Alloy:  Strong showing last week has deterred anyone from contesting. Fat cash coming their way.

BlackRose: Brought NewEra down to 50% with the help of Insomnia within 30 minutes, before big brother Barcode could step in. Solid performance all round for the boys in black.

Lotd: Strong showing last week has deterred anyone from contesting. Fat cash coming their way.

Vision: Without the help of their pet, ManUp, it does not look like they have the numbers to hold off an alliance, or one of the big three placing solely (Gravity). Good attempt by them to hold out for 1 hour 30 minutes but times have changed and they need to realize that holding a t1 region requires more than 70 geared players. Will be interesting to see if they come back with ManUp to challenge Gravity, or if they wish to proclaim the Valencian Sun God as a false deity who they need to crush.

NewEra: They allowed for BC to sneak past them in the early minutes and wreak havoc on ManUp's base. If NewEra had of caught them, I do not believe BC would have been able to secure the region in the first 10 minutes of the siege. They however gradually did catch onto what was happening, and stopped BC from getting through, but by that point it was too late. Dropping them down to B from B+ due to this huge strategic error.

Critical: Decent numbers, decent gear, they show up consistently, but they are not a high impact guild and suit best working in tangent with their lovers Audacity to make an impact to soften up targets, while a bigger name guild comes in to finish the enemy off.

Insomnia:  Coming in as somewhat of an unknown, in the past two weeks they have shown they are a capable ally for BC/BlackRose. Best utilized in conjunction with BlackRose to act in the same way as critical/audacity.

Audacity: Same as critical.

Everyone that has not been mentioned isn't consistent enough in appearing in region wars to make it into my list. Let me know who the guild who placed on Serendia are that got trolled by Kakao servers, so that I can add them into my aptly named, 'SCAMMED BY SERVER TIER' tier.

Audacity and Critical did great tonight. At one point Audacity completely wiped vision during the final pushes on their base. It was pretty funny to watch.

Hyakki I think, but it wasn't a serious drop. Can't confirm since we were kicked within the first 5 minutes.

They only brought 10 people.

Good point, I did see NewEra with at least 40 attacking Barcode's flank so I agree, was more like a 2v1 in ManUp's favor.

Let me know who the guild who placed on Serendia are that got trolled by Kakao servers, so that I can add them into my aptly named, 'SCAMMED BY SERVER TIER' tier.

Where's Iconic's "Scammed by the Server Tier".. we we're scammed from spilling some ChoNation avian-blood on Serendian flowers. Now those flowers have to go without nutrition another week and our hunger for dead-bodies increase to a point where which ever poor guild of wretched souls happen to be where Maximus drops its Necropolis on for monday's Node War will probably end up quitting the game or go insane as no sane person can last under the crush of such hunger that we will bring.

The poorest souls are among the guild who we'll deal last as we won't just kill the fort.. we will crush everything in sight and for a good measure dig up your bones to gnaw if you don't respawn fast enough to feed our bloody hunger and finally after the clock ticks down we will finish the tower with Demacian Soul Lance, wielded by Chief Executioner Meatlab with the assist of Turbo "Axe Murderer" Cleave. Soul Lance focuses not on any single target but on the enemy guild's soul and has a mechanic to bring maximum pain to its victims, to tore the guild's soul asunder, causing salt-levels to cap and then pulling every last drop of salt out of the guild body. Weak ones will just keel over and die while trying to comprehend the massive slaughter being performed upon their wretched characters and total annihilation of their beloved guild. The few survivors of this guild will deserve the "Scammed by the Server Tier" most, which OP will hopefully grant them as soon as they get uncommitted from which ever madhouse they will be thrown into.

"DED Tier" just became "UNDEAD Tier" - emanating darkness which even the Valencian Sun Goddess cannot dispel!

Why does NewEra get their own tier?

So the way a tier ranking system works is that guilds get assigned a level based upon strength. In this case, there is no guilds that are relatively on the same level of strength so they get their own ranking. Happy to help!
