Fix Musa and do a AP/DP rebalance already.

I have been playing musa since the class came out in April and thus far I have enjoyed the class and I have put alot of time into it but ever since the last awakenings came out I have been second guessing playing this class at all. At the moment I am waiting for Dark Knight to come out in March so I can reroll to it since obviously pearl abyss has stopped caring about musa at all. I do agree that when musa first came out in KR is was pretty op but since they have nerfed the class into the ground. The damage output for musa is easily out done by nearly every class and most classes can do everything that musa can do but better, hell we don't even get a grab for a 100% melee class. My main problem with musa is that our damage is too low for how long our cooldowns are, we need alot of ap to be even remotely competitive compared to classes like the warrior, we suck at both large and small scale pvp, and they gave pretty much every class the one specialty that musa has which is a dash. Pretty much the only saving grace for the class is the fast grinding speed. I want to keep playing musa but I'm sick of being shafted by every other class in the game. Not to mention how rare it actually is to see a musa with the highest score or relatively high score in RBF. There is obviously a hierarchy of which classes are favored more by the devs.

 

As for AP/DP rescale...unless this is done soon the game will have no more progression at all. Fights that end in two seconds aren't fun and turned this game from a game that requires some skill to a game of tag where who ever cc's who first wins. When the area after Kamasilve comes out how is anyone going to be able to go there when people in KR are having problems even getting into Kamasilve, not to mention that when we get Kamasilve only the top 10% of players will actually be able to stand a chance there. They are going to have to add either gear that scales ALOT higher or higher enchantments which will only make people's life in the game worse since the enchantment system is solely based off of luck. The only other option is to number crunch and either upscale or downscale everyone's ap/dp by alot.

Any thoughts?

Jokes aside, I understand what you mean. Compared to other classes we really are gimped in damage, which honestly sucks, but i enjoy the class.

From what I came to understand about the Musa, and potentially by extension the Maehwa, is that you need to run more accuracy focused setups than most other classes. Well after Musa got their awakening I fought a guildie who is not at all a terrible player and who was actually more geared than me and he had a difficult time even hitting me while I was CC'd. His AP just didn't seem to be doing anything and at the time I had in the 265 range for DP and was not stacking evasion. Then once he grabbed up some TET red corals and a TRI tree spirit belt his damage just soared.

I'm not saying AP vs DP is balanced, however I will say you can't be the mainstream glass cannon build and complain about dying in 2 seconds.. Also, every class is not created equal. If you're running the full ap setup you might want to trade that AP in for more accuracy, instead of trying to brute force your damage output.

This is why I thought I would ask. Based on the AP output, you are in the low end, really low end. As a Musa, you need to be hitting around the 210 AP range with Kutum on to be viable in RBF.

false, rangers are in the same boat

rangers' cooldowns are up to 25 seconds, try again fam

if your life skill is low then reroll, weights, slots, costumes can be purchased instantly, life skill levels can't.

false, you can't die if you got super armor dash

how so? if ur class like any other class gets 1 or 2 cc chains off, the target is dead. all u need is 220 ap+. so many ppl like op are complaining about their class not being good enough, when in the end it all comes down to u having right ap as the ppl out there that makes u feel sorry, are the ones with certain dp that requires 200-220 ap+.

Musa is indeed weaker  than other DPS class. Let's not forget accuracy and you need better gear than your opponent to shine.
 

And Super  Armor on  dash doesn't help in surviving  during GvG,  we have to stack up on DP as well.  Musa's cc are  not easy to pull off and not that reliable.

honestly, the current power scale are based on

1. active blocks

2. amount of utilities (cc, heal, etc)

3. amount of super armors/iframes

4. amount of gap closer

5. damage

@AEliT I know you are proud of your gears but showing off every chance possible makes me cringe! With that amount of gear every class can own the majority of people when a CC succeed. You get carried by gear, not the class okay? Musa biggest strength is super armor combo which has to be down attack, these skills multiplier are low except for crush crusher (24 sec CD). That is why most people can only survive to pull off 3 skills combo or 4 before running away. Musa has no active defense besides blowing all super armor or dash spam, let alone heal himself. One grab and you are done for while everyone has a grab. One combo and you are done for as well so no kill = let them heal up :/

Oh, the hit-and-run style in RBF works really well when your team is rolling. I had 150AP and I got over 300p several times: see someone cced, dash in for SA combo.

You are kidding right? are you actually in the musa forum on me complaining about the class? Do you even play the class? Inform yourself before posting. With the gear i have any other class can output more damage than ours, which is beyond ridiculous. A ranger can basically 2 shot you with a grab. A class without a grab and a constant block is literally garbage in rbf. All you do in rbf as a musa is pick off low targets and or harass the back line and get out before someone grabs you.

I'm picking out this one point because it is my biggest pet peeve about PVP games.  I hate the concept of stun lock.  What fun is there if YOU are the person who cannot move and is killed?  No fun, that's what kind.  

In other games  the reality of standing without moving while everyone hits me and kills me....was not fun.

I stopped reading when you said "no active block", yes, yes musa have a active block.

LOL yeah OP, just quit your job, divorce your wife, put your kids up for adoption, and grind 24x7 so you can rip your ----- off playing the BDO casino and "git gud" if you're some luck god..  

The "progression" system in this game flat out sucks.  End of story.  You can be the best mechanically at your class but it doesn't mean jack squat if you're unlucky and constantly blow up your accessories and set yourself back weeks/months.  Where as some lucky 240+AP doucher like ^this^ guy is able go around 1 combo'ing people thinking he's hotshit because he's luck/gear carried.   Just terrible game design.  Whoever thought this was a good system deserves to be dragged out into the street and beaten to death with a ball peen hammer.

Low ap/dp is your issue. nothing more. This topic gets created about X class every X day every X month.

Trust me I put in as much time as I possibly can into this game outside of my job/gf/other IRL responsibilities.  I'm close to getting my musa to 61 so clearly I don't mind putting in the work grinding.  My beef is with spending weeks farming accessories and having them go *poof* into thin air repeatedly.  I don't mind failing my gear and weapon enchants, but the accessory enchanting triggers me like no other.
