Warehouse

So, recently I got 50 and sudenly i relized how much an issue is having my main warehouse on Velia, because of having all the daylies on Calpheon. I thought on moving to Calph, but there are also the Olvia daylies so it's good having the storage near there.

Where do u have ur main warehouse guys? And why?

Heidel, out of habit. It doesn't matter jack where your main warehouse really is though, just park a stupid alt to pickup the dailies, finish them on your main, done and done. Or in case of Calpheon dailies, just hand them in on stupid alt.

My base of operations is in Altinova ATM. I usually like to have my hub closest to where I grind a lot. Also looking at the map, soon as the continent expands, Altinova is pretty much the center of the continent.

No need to select one village to make it "the main".

E.g. I'm shipping all wood stuff to Calpheon, all cooking stuff to Glish, Keplan holds relic and boss shards, Velia for enchanting (because of Reblath), Tarif some random stuff....

And cash is quickly transferred, if you're talking about the main cash bank.

I situate myself in Heidel, but often use the warehouses in Velia and Glish for extra space if needed.

Having a wagon in a stable for storage also works, too.

Heidel. Its rly close to both Glish and Velia and I need more than the maximum avalible slots in 1 single town because I collect stuff, lots of stuff.

Also from a Calpheon, Balenos, Serendia, Mediah perspective its almost right in the middle.

Hoarders gotta have one or two spots for everything so I use Heidel/Glish/Valencia as main my warehouse, Calpheon Altinova and Tariff as middle points.

If  you buy slots from the Pearl shop remember you get at least 2 areas with each one you buy. So the Serendia pack will get you the same number of slots in Heidel and Glish. Calpehon will go Cal, Trent and Keplan etc...

As you further progress in life-skills you won't be able to have one main storage and you'll have to dedicate each town to a certain lifeskill so you don't run out of room. Calpheon is my "main" storage as that's where I have most of my silver but it's mostly full as it's also my processing hub for metal and wood currently. Keplan is for storing my gear and misc items like tools, Glish for alchemy, Heidel for cooking, Epheria/Velia for fishing/rods, Trent for storing lifeskill clothing and Altinova for Manos Golden Coral Belts.

Word of advice, never ever ever ever ever use the ocean/sea trade transport. The river transport is slow, but the sea/ocean one is broken. Takes a minimum of 4/5 hours to send from Altinova to Port Epheria. It may however be bugged as I sent crates from Epheria to Ancado and from Altinova to Ancado. The Epheria ones took about 2 hours, the Altinova ones travelled to Ancado, then went to Epheria and back to Ancado. Took about 6-8 hours I think.

With a properly connected network it takes 3 hours or less from Altinova to Ancado - I do it daily and have been for months.

I'm connected properly, I started a transport of 50 Jewellery boxes yesterday at around 4pm they didn't arrive until around 11pm.

well, that was i was thinking on doing: Velia for cooking (i have an alt there with good proficiency on cooking), calph/heidel for daylies and altinova for end game content.

is just that i have too many items on velia... just doing gathering, and i have to keep my cp there, so i cant invest on other warehouses

PF: just three times to valencia? i thought all the end game was there.. and end up spending most of teh time there...

i thought that too, but there is the new continent and if they expand content there... might be good having my base near the sea... are just too many places to go and do stuf...

u mean using the transport? its not that too much expensive?

eg: farm wood on olvia, then send to calph, then all ur cooking + base ingredients (mainly famed near velia, like potatos, etc) send to glish, etc

well, i'm doing that with my loyalties (i'm not sure if thats a good invest) i'm buying storage on calph

My storage is all over the place but it seems to be mainly Velia for metal, Glish for leather & gems and Heidel / Calph for wood.  (I'm casual and spend my days making pottery and furniture.)  Just branching out into Altinova now so that's being used to store new woods and leather etc for the dailies.  I'm also a late-comer to fishing so Epheria is my fish base.  Only get a few hours to play a night anyway & concentrating on crafting rather than much else - poor connection means I often dc when I'm in combat but hey, this is where I come to relax so works well enough for me :)

i hate having to use transport of any type, i mean, thats useles when i need a certain item inmediately, or i just need to free som slots from a warehouse

also having that much storages and items spread all over the map just force me to run to a point to an other and i dont have that much time be runing all the time

well, when the game launched i was doing the same thing, but now i'm back and im enjoying the game more by doing dailyes. the problem is that i have all the old shit from the launch, ans that takes a lot of storage T.T

Well, currently there are no plans to expand that continent according to PA. Even if they do, they have 2 more Regions on our current continent planned AFTER Kamasilve. We got quite a while till anything happens with the Magoria continent.

Hmm not really sure what's going on with yours? I tested it again today just because of this conversation. I started them at 6:07 PM, I forgot to check and its now 10:04 and they are sitting there.  No clue if city node investment has anything to do with it or not that would be a nice perk "more reliable shipping brought to you by your taxes'. Dunno ~shrug~

it's super cheap compared what you get of the saved CP and/or much faster worker income, even when nodes are not connected and you have triple price
