Blank white screen on launcher

Hey all,

At first I thought it was just because of maintenance but my launcher shows a blank screen where the login page should be and the Play button is greyed out as well. I have no idea what to do, checked the internet they suggested clearing browser history but that didn't fix it. Also I reinstalled graphics drivers and restarted pc but to no avail. Can any one help me please?

EDIT: I tried the launcher reinstall but it gives the same result. Even when the Paz folder isn't in the BDO folder yet.

EDIT 2: I found a log file for the launcher, contains this:

make sure your av/am/firewall is not attempting to kill your launcher/connection. socket errors are generally caused by that up front.

I tried a bunch of things. Made a ticket and they gave a few suggestions as well. I had tried some of them and the others didn't work. The ticket is still open right now. I will update this thread when I get it working. If any one wants the full response from the GM I can post it here as well.

Hey guys, i had the same issues for the past days. My AntiVirus and Firewallsoftware from f-secure blocked the game, even when it was whitelisted. 

Turning off f-secure's "Deep-Guard" function fixed it for me.

i apologize for the german ui in the screenshots, its a isp branded tool based on f-secure as you can see in the first screen.

Thanks for your reply @Boerdy. I have F-secure as well but turning DeepGuard off didn't work for me. Did you do anyting else? I tried turning it off completely, as well as the firewall on my router but to no avail.

i got mine fixed. i do not recommend it because it is a stupid ass work solution..

 

i resetted my whole pc (windows reinstalled) took me long AF.. but it works again now.

 

my suggestion is to do this if the devs do not come up with a solution

I'm about to get an M.2 drive and will use that for my system OS. So at this point I guess it's a race between the shipping company and the BDO devs.

Just turning it off didn't work for me. However, turning off deepguard then reinstalling (remember to save the Paz folder) fixed it.

I reinstalled BDO and added an exception in f-secure for f-secure. Works fine for me now.
