pve and pvp builds are not that far away... basically you need mass ap and more accuracy (shield) on pvp. But then again for high lvl farming you need also greater accuracy. The idea in this game right now is mass ap. So you dont need to worry about equipment.. about skills pretty much max out every awakening skill and focus on ap buffs and atk speed buffs (pre awakening), dp buffs.

I am not agree with you. For PVE you can use also Scar of Dusk, between awekening skill CD. Also Spinning Slash has now a very good damage. Skilled Hunter is another skill who you can maximize for PVE. Instead it's no point to use skill points for Grapple, Kick (because most of the higher mobs are immune to those skills). So, yes there are big differences between PVE build and PVP build.

Skill builds and also (if possible) gear builds.

Well as far as skill builds go ideally at level 59 you want to have something like this:

http://bddatabase.net/us/skillcalc/30493

For awakening skill addons you'll want Pain damage and PvP damage on Grave Digging, Attack speed +10% and Movement speed -10% on Solar Flare. For unawakened addons you don't really need to be too concerned about, only one I would suggest is getting Monster Attack +20 and Recover 10 HP on Ground Roar for grinding purposes, the rest are relatively negligible.

As for gear you want to shoot for full boss gear, but prior to that you can run either full Grunil or full Heve. Accessories you can choose to go hybrid or full AP, though I would strongly advise for you to focus on getting Accuracy. You may want to run Vangertz over a Kutum or a Nouver purely for the accuracy benefits, AP doesn't go all that far if you're lacking the accuracy to hit your enemies. Red Coral Earrings as well, at least one of them along with an AP earring. Having a tree belt can also help with this.

Gear/skill builds are all pretty universal. There isn't really anything specific to PvP or PvE like at all.

Speaking of the awakened skill addons, do you really not see a buff bar on yourself during your successful hits? Like for example, if I used solar flare, would I not see a +10% ASPD bar on me? I just find it confusing

Typically you should, it applies if the skill connects. Also take into account that the buff bar you see on your own screen has a cutoff point so if you're running a lot of buffs then you may not see your buffs from skill addons show up because they are very much after the cutoff point.

No problem... As i say its my opinion and my build. But... i meant an overall build, granted you cant change skills all the time after 56 level.. To be honest, and i farmed everything except the new ancient site i completely dont need and pre awakening skills. On cd's of the 2 main skills i use other flows, solar flare and the rest awakening skills to farm, and it goes a LOT better than scars of dust and spinning slash. Be aware i was a warrior from the beginning, i farmed most of time with that skills i can 100% tell you awakening skills are perfect for farming cycles. You dont need scars of dust for grind. Given that you have a good ap, 2 skills of awakening almost kill everything.

Yes, idd Grave Digging and Slashing the Dead  skills kill everything, but still if you move fast enough (don't waste time to collect all drops) or you fight with high lvl mobs (Crescent for example) scars of dust it's a good choise beetwen GD & SD cd. I don't use Scars of Dust because I am focus on PVP, but I think some skills could be useful in PVE more than in PVP and some not. But, yes , depend of the situation and location ... the build (skills and gear) could be change for best results. For example Ankle Break is another good skill for PVE and useless for PVP. So, I still believe that PVE and PVP builds are different, even majority of the skills are the same.
