Trader Master 2 Question

Hey guys,

I am still a noob with less than a month playtime in BDO. I am trying to get to master 2 trading level to start doing calph crates. I already installed the required nodes and workers required for calph trades and started manufacturing (nothing fancy like the +4 adv packing).

I always thought that I could start trading these crates without the maximum profit and gain exp to level trade for master 2. what I am asking is that is this the best time now to start the manufacturing of calph trades and gain exp or is there a faster way to gain exp to master 2. if there is any, would you be so kind as to tell me?

oh and btw I am currently at 150 CP and still rising and at skilled 1 trading level.

Thanks

To gain XP faster, just trade a lot.  Buy trade goods from NPC, and move 500 meters and sell them.  Buy more from that guy, and go somehwere else.

There used to be a loop in Calpheon people did but that doesn't get you as much XP anymore.  So you can do Velia  To heidel and stuff like that.  There is a loop in Mediah you could do as well.

Works best if you are already like pro or artisan trade however, so you can buy everything they sell.

If you don't mind not making money, you can trade basic cheap crates to get a large volume.  Say trade 50k basic timer crates and you will level up really fast.  Some people saved for months doing this method.  Trade them in at once and boom  master 2.  You do these cheap crates for  XP, not for silver so you dont care that it would tank the market.

However,  I suggest you trade your good crates properly, take them long distance and make money now.  Sure its not as much money as it will be one day, but its still good money. If you save good crates for too long, it will be hard to trade them in profitably.  You only want to trade about 50 at a time to get the best silver.

Whatever you do, do not sell Calpheon crates (or any high value) crates until you get M2 and get the 50% buff, just save them up.

You have two ways to level up crate, active trading on a wagon/elephant which or by crafting trash crates such as ore/timber ones and then using the exploit to ove-rlaod a horse and sell them.

That is very helpful and informative guys. Thanks very much, I really appreciate it. :):)

But what exploit do u mean? Sometimes when i am trading. I purchase too much for the wagon so I purchase them to my inventory then transfer them back to the wagon and it becomes overweight.

You can use a horse to trade if you want to whistle for it, it helps to have a horse whistle.

If you have say.. one thousand calph crates in storage you bring your horse near, and put its max weight on it in trade crates.. lets say 35 for this example. Then you put 35 on yourself. You then take the 35 crates OFF the horse into your inventory, then you move all the crates out of your inventory to your horse. It will accept them. You then take 35 more crates out of  storage into your inventory, take all crates off your horse, then put all crates back on, you'll be able to stack as much weight on to your horse as you want basically.

Then you just run around whistling your horse.

Read this reddit post and the discussion in it. You definitely do not ever want to turn in crates without master 2 trading. You will lose a ridiculous amount of money on every crate. If you want to start casual just sell the plywood until you get master 2 trading. To get master 2 trading you will need to sell 40K+ junk crates but be warned you will take a 150-200M hit to make that many.

I don't see why you wouldn't just make crates and make money now while waiting to eventually get to master 2 down the long road...It will help you level trading in the process too.

Not everyone can get M2 in short order. And not sure how fast plywood sells these days (maybe they sell decent speed).  But  I never lost money trading crates,  I just make more now that I have  M2 trading. But if  I had waited to only trade once  I hit master 2, many months would have passed.

Guess it largely depends if they plan to rush to  M2 or not.

He is talking about infinite stacking of trade goods on horse... You can easily find giude on youtube... And its not as much of an exploit as it is feature, since it was fixed and then turned back after the backfire from playerbase...  You just stack thousands of LT of goods on one horse and move it at once to save a lot of time compared to moving it according to limit... Its used mostly with trash goods since its waste of stamina and time to actually trade them otherwise...

Anyway hitting M2 will still take quite some time...

Feel free to make Calph crates but save them until you are M2. A good way for the lower levels are also low level crates so for instance Iron ore crates. The higher tier crates you are throwing away huge money gains later on by selling them without the buff.
