I haven't found a server yet.  Calpheon, Velia, Serendia, all dc me in about 10 seconds

I think this game is broken.  I was on Serendia 4, got booted.  Got to the log in screen and the only channel that wasn't on Queue was Sernedia 1

I get DCed allot and sometimes I cant stay on the toon longer than a min. It seems to happen in the later part of the evening starting around 7PM eastern when the server gets under load and the channels start filling up. It seems the servers were much more stable at launch than they are now.

Unless it's a widespread issue... and if it were, there'd be TONS of threads about this... I doubt it's a BDO server issue. More likely there's a connection or internet stability issue that originates somewhere between the geographical location of your in home connection and the BDO servers. Most likely, one of the internet nodes along your hops to the BDO servers is experiencing trouble.

Are you like creating like support tickets? Like...

Did you just come here to cry?! Cause pretty sure you'll get a quicker response elsewhere unless your just stirring the pot.

It could be geographical... or it could be poor optimization when more players are online. Not sure which it is or a mixture .. or neither...but I'm on the west coast of NA and I used to have issues with frequent disconnects as soon as I logged in to the game on certain times. Like many of you have experienced: Game "loads". No chat. No notifications. No mail. No friends. No interactions with NPCs for maybe 2-3 minutes? Then it all rushes in and then disconnects. Channel switch and it didn't seem to keep me from the same outcome.

What I started to do when this happens is... I run lol. I run OUT of the town (in this twilight zone I am in there's no stamina bar so I can run at full speed for the entirety of the time the game is "connecting" to the rest of the world). Once I have run out of town, everything rushes in (notifications, chat, etc) and I pray I stay connected. Sure enough, every single time since I have tried this method, I have not disconnected upon log in.

I theorize that when I log in, lots of people are already logged in and there are horses all over the place and the place is packed, that there's so much information/poorly optimized data from the game that it bottlenecks to my computer and disconnects me once it all finally rushes in. That's my tin foil hat theory lol. Who knows - maybe it's my desktop not being equipped with the newest and best tech to handle it all well (my new gaming laptop seems to manage the load fine), but running out of town keeps me connected \o/.

If we're blaming it on geographical issues, I live in Hawaii & I doubt everyone else having the same DC issues is also living in the mid-pacific. There is absolutely something going on within the last two weeks. Regarding more posts about this topic, there are other post on it, with comments. Obviously not everyone is getting the boot, mine occurs within 60sec if I attempt to get on my DK, any other character I can make it to about the 5min mark before getting DC'd.

Oh I'm sure there's always a few at any given time, due to random internet issues. But that's the nature of the internet. If it was a BDO server problem, then it'd be thousands upon thousands all having the same issue all at the same time. Which in this case is not what's going on.

Don't get me wrong... the issues described stinks and it sucks. But it's not a BDO issue. If it were a BDO server  issue, then there'd be exponentially more people reporting the problem all at once.

It is widespread and there are multiple forum posts.

It is a BD issue. Something is happening at the time you go from character select to in game which disconnects users.

I had the exact same problem but I solved it by switching to a new set of servers. NA Velia channels were the cause of my problems, didnt matter which one I picked, so randomly picked a serendia channel, game loaded up fine for me, no lag at all. If I go back to the Velia channels though, the problem comes back and I dc like crazy xD
