Viable or no?

The mobility is definitely a plus when moving and re-positioning around battlefield. As a shotcaller youre not asked to carry much of the damage/tank. No constant block, but moving back should suffice. Quickly able to assess situations with their unmatched speed.

 

Warriors are tankier, more damage, better frontlines and almost as mobile. But do you guys think the mobility of musa alone makes for a good node war commanders.

I think for the most part it comes down to how you can pay attention to everything else while fighting.

more damage - gonna have to disagree on that..warriors fall off late game, in terms of ap scaling, their rage does a shit ton of damage, but thats generally about it tbh.

no offense , but a good warrior is going to do more damage with a proper combo than their ult , and they are going to do that at the drop of a hat , not when they have rage.

i'd say they are plenty viable for shot calling , you dont literally need to be in the middle of the fight to call on it , you just need to see and perceive everything thats happening in it.

so basically anything that is able to get in the fight and survive in it is a viable shot caller. be it by dashing around like a musa or just blocking/tanking like a warrior or other beefier class.

I wouldn't say warriors fall off, since they can still 1 combo people.  They do have less damage than musa at higher ap ranges though.

I sometimes shot call for my guild. Racked up a ton of wins. The major thing I've learned is knowing not every class can just dash in and out of the battlefield like you can.
