I don't mind the normal system that you've gotta put just a tiny bit of money into the game to get pets that loots for you, it's convenient. But @#&*! are T4s pet impossible to get, they're a huge money sink. Not only are they REAL useful, they are REALLY expensive. 

I've fused 2x T3s together and have gotten 1x T3 every single time. That is 25$ each try that goes directly to the trash.  I've done it 3 times and still didn't get a single T4. I've had my dose, this is retarded. I don't mind putting a couple dollar in the game, hell, I wouldn't mind putting 40-80$ a month if that's the only thing I play, but this right here is ridiculous. This is not Black Gamble Online, it's an MMORPG.

RNG is RNG. You knew the risk when trying to go for a T4.

T4 is a really min-maxy thing to have. I wouldn't bother sinking money into that when it could be spent on something like weight expansions.

Just because T4s exist doesn't mean you need it.

Is it true they nerfed pet exchange?  I got all my T4's early on, they weren't that hard.  But these days I was having a hard time even getting to tier 3.

I ve got 4 T3 with mediocre skills, I d love a +1 luck one on or some combat xp but wasnt lucky, my only concern atm is that they can barely keep up with my grinding speed and I occasionally have to manually loot which slows me down and that on a class thats mediocre at grinding...The only way I m gonna gamble for T4 is if I manage to grab pets over the market which by itself is a longshot....I have spend more than I m comfortable with already in this game to invest into more RNG....

RNG with pearl shop items directly is, in my opinion, dramatically more ethically questionable than many of the mechanics in the game that subtly (or not so subtly) steer players to the pearl shop such as lodging, slots, or artisan's memories.

Even with relatively good luck of going up 1 tier each smashing, it's ~200 euros to get 4 of the cheaper T4 pets.

All of this is kindda relative.

The only real reason you'd want pets is for looting cause they're pretty much essential. Then again if you want to min/max the shit out of them and get a setup of max combat/skill % to get the most out of your gameplay that's YOUR choice since the looting difference between a T3 and a T4 is .5 seconds and there is no real reason to want a T4 other than to gamble your money for the remote chance of getting an extra 4% in EXP.

IMO the reason exchanging for T3 is worth it is cause you have a relative high chance of skipping a tier; so imagine T5 was possible, would you spend a strong amount of cash for a chance of skipping T4 completely? I would. But as it stands now it's just not worth it to spend $40 (if you're lucky) on an extra skill.

I got all my pets to t4, with the exception of the pinguin and the valentines bird couple (those are just t3) and my dog (which refuses to go to t4), during the last two months. So nothing really nerfed here. Of 8 pets 5 are t4 and only  3 aren't and 2 of those three i cant (though 1 since last maintenance) get to t4 since they are unavailable in marketplace.

So you already made a bunch of T3s and had no problem that you got that P2W advantage so far over everyone else who just has T1 or even not 4 pets at all.

You were absolutely fine with the mechanic until now, and it was great you had luck getting those T3, while others didn't.

But now, when trying to get even more advantage, you complain about the exact same mechanic that you did benefit from so far?

That's pretty hypocritical.

[System]

  • The level cap for PvP has been raised to 50. (Previously 45).

    • You can activate PvP mode with Alt + C.

  • Marketplace bidding system has been changed to have 3 stages.

    • [Bid] → [Check Total] → [Check Bidding]

      • All items will be posted on the marketplace 10~15 minutes after registration.

      • All items will have ‘B’ marker when the item is first posted, with the exception of pearl items.

      • [Bid] All users may take part in bidding for 30 seconds after ‘B’ mark appears. This can be done through bidding button.

      • After 30 seconds, the bid button will change to [check bidding].

      • When you click [check bidding], you can check if your bidding was accepted or not.

      • [Check bidding] will remain for roughly 20 seconds, and all users who participated must check bidding.

      • You will need to insert a PIN when bidding and checking, in addition to having enough silver in your inventory or regions warehouse for the intended item.

      • If you do not click [check bidding], you will not be able to receive the item, even if you won the bid. Failure to do so will result in the item becoming available for all users.

      • You will now be able to buy items from the marketplace without typing in the captcha code.

      • The [check bidding] button can be deactivated when you confirm the bidding from the marketplace.

      • You will not be asked to input the amount of items when you bid for stacked items in the marketplace. You can input the amount at the [check bidding], [purchase] stage.

  • Camera view adjusted so that riding or shooting a cannon from a Galley and Epheria will have a wider field of view.

  • A sound effect has been added when you deactivate the light ping on the world map.

  • The volume of the pet sound effects for Cursed Looney has been decreased.

  • The interior of houses will now be brighter.
     

[ System Messages ]

  • When a character reaches level 16, a system message indicating the ‘Day/Night’ cycle will now be in effect.

  • System messages will now appear when you receive a daily guild payment.

  • When using the skill add-on system without having a Memory Fragment or Cliff’s Skill Add-on Guide, the system message indicating this is not possible will now be displayed immediately.

  • When first creating a family name a new message will display asking you to confirm the selected name.

  • World notification will no longer be shown when obtaining Red Coral Earring and Blue Coral rings.

  • The game will now remember the last chat type used when reloading (with the exception of whispers).

      • You may purchases Balenos at Goods and Cooking NPCs.

      • These tools have higher durability but the alchemy and cooking time will increase.

  • Marketplace register price for Intermediate / Advanced Alchemy Tools has been increased.

  • You can no longer sell the items [Practice] Lynch Cannon Assembly Set and [ Practice ] Cannonball to NPC vendors.

  • Damage from Elephants, Flame Towers, and Hawachas to characters have been decreased.

  • The function of the recovery center has been modified:

    • The resurrection cool down time reduction per installed recovery center has been changed from 10 seconds to 6 seconds.

    • The effect of reducing the resurrection latency through the Restore Point has been changed to take effect at the maximum wait time (120 seconds), not the minimum wait time (10 seconds).

    • The recovery center is not as important directly after the node or siege war begins, but will become more important as the resurrection standby time increases.

  • You can now use the observation mode during the resurrect standby time when you die during Node / Conquest Wars.

  • Characters from an opposing guild during Node / Conquest wars will have their name displayed in red even if wearing a camouflage costume.

  • Nodes owned by a guild will have the tax automatically collected 15 minutes before the start of Node / Conquest wars.

  • The amount of buildable recovery centers has been increased for Node / Conquest wars:

    • 3 recovery centers for [Node] Square Fort

  • Recovery center function has been changed to ‘decrease resurrect standby time’. Each recovery center will reduce 6 seconds from the resurrect standby time.

  • Character resurrect rules have been changed to the following while in Node / Conquest war:

    • Default character resurrect standby time is 10 seconds. (It cannot be shorter than 10 seconds)

    • After 10 minutes from the beginning of the Node / Conquest war start, resurrect standby time is increased by 1 second for every minute.

    • Each death results in an increase of 1 second, and the effect is stackable.

    • The maximum character resurrect standby time is 120 seconds.

    • The rules will be applied on characters participating in Node / Conquest wars only.

  • Characters will resurrect with full HP/MP during Node / Conquest Wars.

  • Guild gathering functions have been added for Node/Conquest Wars.

    • As soon as the war begins an icon will display in the top right corner of your screen. This allows you to teleport to the fort by clicking the icon.

    • This can be used only for the guild members who are waiting at the correct war channel before the war begins. Entering after the war begins will not allow use of this feature.

    • Characters located in Red Battle Field, Prison, or inside of the castle (or within 30M from the fort) cannot use the icon.

    • The icon will disappear 110 minutes after the war begins.

 

[ Guilds ]

  • Guilds can no longer accept a new guild member 2 hours prior to a Node / Conquest war beginning if they are participating in the war.

  • All guild members may now call guild mounts.

  • General guild members can now sell guild exclusive items to the guild shop.
     

[ Mounts ]

  • Horse market list will refresh when you have failed to purchase a horse.

  • Stats have been increased for wild horse of level 2 or higher.

  • You can now change and train the skills for private elephants and camels.

  • The distance for mount check-in has been increased.

  • Improvements to the graphics of personal elephant equipment have been made.

  • Reduced the time it takes to move from a trot to a gallop whilst auto-pathing on your mount.

Is it true they nerfed pet exchange?  I got all my T4's early on, they weren't that hard.  But these days I was having a hard time even getting to tier 3.

I believe so too, i got 2x T4s early release without any fail, then a year after i tried 3x times and failed all, now im glad i have those 2x T4 from early release when exchange introduced.

I don't mind the normal system that you've gotta put just a tiny bit of money into the game to get pets that loots for you, it's convenient. But @#&*! are T4s pet impossible to get, they're a huge money sink. Not only are they REAL useful, they are REALLY expensive. 

I've fused 2x T3s together and have gotten 1x T3 every single time. That is 25$ each try that goes directly to the trash.  I've done it 3 times and still didn't get a single T4. I've had my dose, this is retarded. I don't mind putting a couple dollar in the game, hell, I wouldn't mind putting 40-80$ a month if that's the only thing I play, but this right here is ridiculous. This is not Black Gamble Online, it's an MMORPG.

2 weeks ago I was telling some player that rng can be horrible when it comes to pet breeding but the player wouldn't believe me. I told the player  that breeding pets will sometimes give you pets of the same tier as parents if you have bad luck. To be so naïve and innocent was hilarious lol.

Not true at all, Dog at T4 is at 2.5, all T4's are at 2.5, and then they pick up a lot faster(they run to the mobs faster) and have a lot longer range than any T1-T3

Just going from the normal T4's to the buffed T4's gave me around 30% more loot, not even joking.

I have two T3 cats and a T1 cat, along with a T3 hawk. I've never felt the need for a T4 so, to me, it feels like one of those minmax things that people get all up in arms about needing when they don't actually need it - they just want the best.

At lower gear levels you can easily just go with T1-T3, you wont kill fast enough for T4's to be efficient. But I would say they are near mandatory when you start clearing way too fast for your pets to pick up everything and you start leaving too much loot behind.

This seems about right. I have 1 T3, 1 T1 and 2 T2 pets and they do not keep up with my kill speed at all if I'm really going at it. I have to stop and wait if I want the loot. With average grind parties it's really awful how much gets left behind.

I'm not geared enough to slide through Pila Ku like a hot knife through butter but I've experienced some of this and understand it but at the same time it seems like a minmax fix if you're going that fast. Maybe it's because cats are pretty quick at picking up loot, but even when I'm at Sausans where I melt through packs of mobs, I can't say I leave much loot behind. Perhaps that's different at other places in Valencia but I'd find it odd to think that one group of tightly packed mobs is any different than another.

Another point is that maybe essentially teleporting around a zone and picking up loot instantly isn't a necessity, but rather should be viewed as a lucky draw.
