Apologies to the new players

On behalf of Pearl/Daum I would like to apologize to all the new players for destroying what was a great experience.  I was lucky enough to play through the game naturally and enjoy the content as it was originally intended.  This was before all the massive exp boosts and free hand outs.

Equipment Upgrades. Before everyone was just handed Ogre's, Basiliks, Layten, there was a stepping process where you farmed or bought lower grade items then moved up.  Especially with Accessories.  Don't worry about that today, just pop on your Crescent Ring and go.

It was fun doing the all the quests and slowly leveling up.  Today's you can just fly right past all of it and cheese your CP via afk cooking.  You will be 56 nearly instantly and spend the next few years grinding through 4 levels if you can stomach it.

Lets hope the Developers reflect on the damage that has been done, although that's not likely to ever happen.

That's all the squeaky forum wheels and WoW want it now crowds.

Blame those folks, not the company trying to satisfy what they think are the masses.

I don't know whats wrong with people who post here and complain just because they didnt like the game.

If you don't like the game, just quit and move on, no need to drag everyone else who is having fun and trying to play.

Let's be honest here and i'm not trying to be rude,

No matter how hard you try to complain or post whatever salty stuff here in forums,

Nobody cares if you leave or quit the game,

Everybody has their own opinion, you can share it but no need to force it and pretend everyone will join you.

Once is enough,

I'm sorry, now move on.

It's structurally wrong and has massive impacts on the economy & market.  It's done a lot more damage than the things I have listed which have been brought up by many players.

There are plenty of examples in the past to demonstrate just how fragile a games ecosystem is.

You can take a game where players grinded for years and destroy it in a single week by handing out massive exp/items.  This has been demonstrated in the past with situations where the company planned to shut the game down and did final events.  The players didn't quit immediately because the game was going to be shut down, it was simply pointless and boring when every in BDO's terms would be 65 for example.

Players may spend years to achieve 65, but if it's handed to everyone, no one cares and the immediately result is /bored quit

The worst part of BDO is the end game, the longer it takes to get there the better ironically.

PS You might need to look in the mirror......

You sure about that?

Imo it aint much different than new updates in WoW, where first green trash gear is stronger than highest tier from previosu expansion... Its killing your effort anyway... Though it is probably more obvious here, since we went through few updates quite fast and in BDO there aint many items yet...

And just boring grind is no enjoyable experience... If your levels are somehow aligned with quests, its still ok...

What concerns me more is the destroyed quest line we got in latest updates...

To be fair, they had a 3000% life skill xp boost the day the game came out. Folks were Guru 2 in some skills on day 3. Every single weekend since release there has been a 100% xp boost. I am curious as to what time period did you get to enjoy the game without massive boosts and such?

Just go away. . The antics coming from people like you are pathetic to say the least. As Juliet has said, nobody seems to care about your opinion, I know I don't, I like Black Desert Online, nothing you will say will deter me from playing it.

They still do.. sort of.
3000 river water gets you 1% at Artisan.
I'm so glad I have it so easy.. I feel guilty...

That is mostly all wrong. As someone who's played actively since CBT1, there was no 3000% life skill boost on launch. There was a small handful of 300% life EXP weekends for a select handful of life skills (trading/training one weekene for example), but those quickly ended.

The 100% EXP weekends weren't a thing commonly if at all until Awakenings started releasing either.

Guru life skill ranks outside of fishing weren't obtained for a LONG time after launch.

I disagree with Feebleone, but don't spread lies and misinformation to disprove someone's point. Thanks.

You are incorrect again. Some shards did indeed have 3000% boost others had 300%. It was all over the forums at the time. I and many others took advantage of it and hit guru.

I can't help that you don't understand the complex intricacies and impacts of what the developers have done.

To be fair I have had many years to analyze and develop very accurate information and reference things that most are probably not aware of.

The core of your last statement btw makes no sense.  It's not about deterring you from playing, it's about BDO reaching it's full potential, which it's not.

For example when people complain about the RNG system, they are mainly requesting A BETTER SYSTEM.

Are you sure you are not apologizing to yourself instead ? You seem upset.

I was all like ummm like I'm so triggered, but then I settled down after being re assured people like you would bump my thread.

Thanks buddy!
