Can a GM maybe answer me why outfits which are out for 8/9/10 months on korean servers have not been released for EU/NA servers? I just don´t understand :( It can´t be a lot of work and you would make a lot of money. I just can´t figure out the strategy behind that

Cause people buy everything put on the pearl store, staggering releases lead to an ever so slight increase in pearl sales simply cause people buy the new shit cause they get tired of waiting for the shit they actually want.

^Having the exact same problem. Game uses up to 90% CPU. Sometimes it works well and sometimes its like this.

And I thought I was the only one with this problem. Seems like a memory leak or something.

CoherentUI is some kind of CPU loop. You typically get 2 which can take up 30ish% of CPU each. The game starts to stutter.

It's been for 2 months now I think, I posted this a long time ago and got a GM blessing and that they are aware of the issue. Not a word since.

Changing character or channel you get rid of it or you get them ..

I wonder when the devs, admins, and mods will just snap and start swinging axes at us.....

You think thats the reason for all the bugs ..

If they actually fixed issues and not introduce new ones with every maint people might be more friendly :)

Same reason they don't increase training related stuff, like breeding rates *cough* almost T9 here, still no rate increase, while KR had them months prior to T9 *cough*. They make too much money off of it via pearl shop.

Ur so funny, ur trying to make a T8 but refuse to use 2 x T7s because they are "a waste of time and money", now ur complaining the breeding rate is too low. It is just like trying to make TRI accessories with 10 fs and keep failing it then complain the rate is too low.

Obivously you're butthurt over tri accesories while T8 rates are equal to pen items with current rates, the chance of getting T6 out of breeds is just as high as failing that pen with ∞ failstacks. But okay, keep being butthurt over your failing tri accessories ^^

Humans used to have an old saying... "Nothing is perfect"

do you really think that with every new addition there wouldn't be a issue or a bug here and there? if so please apply for a job position with them, instead of complaining

they still have to keep up with the korean/japanese releases, so they could be on a time crunch with each update

and before you say there is no game with as many issues as black desert:

Skyrim: Still has an issue with sli/xfire configs, that can cause crashes

Fallout4: still doesn't know what to do in a full screen mode, and the movement bug still exists

NieR: Has an issue with full screen being upscaled, and the cut scenes lag so much you can crash

Forza Horizon 3: the game is literally unfinished, in order to play it you must 'brute force' it with system specs

so in short, be patient with them and just enjoy what you can... unless thats hard to do

Hold on, lemme see if I get this right.

It's ok that our version has glaring performance issues because they have to keep up with KR, JP and Chinese versions too (I added Chinese for you, just cause).

And this is fine because other games have performance issues.

Did I interpret this correctly? Cause holy -----, there's children starving in the world, which I guess makes it ok for you to never eat again, right?

well, they could be like Shin megami, and just shut down the servers, and just continue the game over seas

and im sorry im seeing it from their point of view instead of viewing it from an entitled point of view

If this is truly all you think Kakao/Pearl Abyss aspires to be, then good lord they're scummier than I'd thought possible.

You're still strawmanning like mad. Your arguments aren't arguments, they're just deflections and projections.

Just because shit happens elsewhere in the world doesn't mean you have to bend over and take it.

And it certainly doesn't give you the right to call anyone entitled for having an opinion about a product they paid for.

true i am, but im waiting for people to remember the game they paid for is literally being transferred from the other side of the planet, and in a entirely different language, i just have patience and am willing to wait for something instead of whining over it for 3 weeks like a child in toy store

but i guess thats my issue for also being in a job that has me creating things for people unappreciative of it

To be fair, the rough translations that we always get on first release of new patches are pretty much ripped directly from the Korean community patch for the English versions - I'd like to believe otherwise but there's simply way too many cases of typos and errors being exactly the same. This is a project done mostly by volunteers who aren't natively English speakers. Nevermind that the German localization (or was it French? I forgot, sorry) hasn't seen an update since June.

Cause when you get called out on projecting, you just had to project some more

It still doesn't give you any right to call people entitled for having an opinion about a product they bought or how it's managed.

then thats even more of a reason to just be a bit patient, this game wasn't created by a machine or an android, its been created by people with lives and possibly spouses and children, though i do get having in game problems can get annoying at times, but its no need to aim a gun at them

being a concept artist i draw the line and the line gets lower and lower the more people complain about things they "Didn't" pay for, but for the people who paid for i'm willing to edit what is needed, but the exchange is they they need to wait, if they complain to me every hour, i will refund them, scrap the drawing, and reuse the concept sketch for something else. so I call people entitled when its being shown to me in mass

I just want to be clear to make sure you know this.

You understand that localization is literally the only thing that needs to be done to bring the game to our region, yes?

yes, that still requires the software to be translated... or even remade (depending on how in depth the localization is)

I admire your dedication for a game, but c'mon, how is this realistic?

If you were actually being honest with yourself, you wouldn't even wait for things to "work out eventually" for 18 months with a significant other. 18 months is a very long time.

i would if i bothered with relationships, (too much work to bother with them)

and i know 18 months is a very long time, but this game isn't being made by machines

o.O

Really.

I could understand this sentiment, kinda, if the game was unreleased anywhere. But the fact is that it's been out for 2+ years in Korea already.

Uhm, I'm not complaining, I'm explaining. And I'm actually an IT guy and I don't make this sort of trouble ..

Also I'm not rude against Kakao or others. I just bring things to their attention and most of the time I think well it be fixed somewhere and don't even post about it.

Having said that, since december I have to play with absolute minimum graphic settiings. Since months we now also have the Coherent UI issue added.

Then there are a lot of minor issues I won't even mention ..

It would help if there was some feedback about known issues and whats being done about it.

Thanks for the reply though :)
