Horse Drowning

I suggest you make horses breathe out their nose and mouth instead of breathing out of their hooves, they drown just from touching the water with a wagon connected.
But if you put them on a boat, they can go submarine mode on the bottom of the ocean for hours. Very logical.

Reported! To... animal protection :D

In more seriousness, I rarely had that issue while on a horse. Sometimes I try the big jump over rivers and fail or miss the bridge and it doesn't even drown. Only times it will drown is when I go in the very middle of a very large river.

I haven't tried with a wagon though and it doesn't seem to behave the same way. Perhaps that is something that could be looked at to make it more forgiving?

It's interesting that horses are even capable of drowning because they can actually swim. It's also interesting that they flee from us when we tame them but are all to willing to be pummeled by Centaurs lol. I guess this design was chosen with Mount Revivals in mind?

Yeah but four hooves compared to two nostrils is double the air!

don't forget the donkeys too! To make matters worse, if you mount up near the water, and turn, they may move into the water and drown.

I was roaming about the other day trading off between gathering and grinding as I went, using my Elephant.  A creature had made its way past me and started to swing at the elephant. They are pretty stout, and the Mob wasnt terribly overpowering, so I finished killing the few I had on me real fast before rescuing the fat boy.  To my surprise, my elephant actually took notice from being hit, and started to walk forward away from the creature attacking it!

Now, he was ankle deep in a water puddle, so I figured it was some fluke. Naturally I am obligated to test this further!

Im sure some of you all know this already, but im sure many dont yet, but the elephant, time and time again, realized it was being hit on and reacted by walking away from the attacker!

I was pretty excited to see that little bit of.. AI!  Thats right, I said it! The elephant has a little kernal of AI in it!

yeah i know, got way too carried away there..  but, whatever. Its still better than standing there like a hood ornament!
