My opinion on how the gaming industry works

Someone with a professional career would have taken more initiative to inform their customers of the current "Lag Desync issues".  They would prominently face up to it with updates over multiple mediums including forums, tweet, in game, etc.

Instead of offering compensation for lost exp/gems they would be pro active and have already developed procedures for this type of situation.  For example toggling off death penalties to white players while issues similar to this occur.

They would treat this as a critical situation similar to the servers being down.  The game has been unplayable for several days now for a lot of customers including myself.  It's just not bearable.

The title of this read like a life prep course Powerpoint title.

No funny clipart. 2/10

What it means to have a Career vs a Job

soo

what does it have to do with what you posted ?

It's about the qualifications/pay for GM's being "Basic Employees" interested in gaming vs people with established careers in management.

Career driven people are motivated to the daily activities of a business and can improve the company through their ability, efforts, and ideas.

Basic Employees spend their day waiting for their shift to end and having little interest in the future of the company.

You do realize that GM and CM are basically interns right? (heck CM aren't even paid)

They got no powers whatsoever in decision making.

But continue to cut the wrong tree if you want.

lol @ op thinking the base employees have any power to change what you want.
They aren't the R&D team or shareholders.

I'm completely confused as to what this means or what you're trying to say to be completely honest.

ITT: A bunch of people confused by the title because they themselves have neither a Career or a Job.

Community has been grinding too much and its hurting IQ.

It doesnt take a high school graduate to comprehend what the post meant...

In response to the OP: It's obvious now that the game is on autopilot to last as long as it can with minimal updates. It's slowly dying and no one wants to update this pile of shite.

Maybe it does require a higher level of education because that is not what it means at all.

Diablo 3 went into "Maintenance Mode" a while ago where updates became minimal and the development ended, but BDO is nowhere near that today.

Don't we have all of the remaining mainland + Haso to look forward to? I don't know why you think it's getting minimal updates.

The circled portion is what we got at release, Mediah and Valencia are to the left of that. Hell I've even heard of a giant homeland coming later, with a giant train.

This is a top-down problem.  The entire Global market has been rigged around Top-End compensation only and Shareholder Derivatives performance.  Believe it or not, this isn't Kakoa's fault and it's not even Korea's or Asia's fault in general.  We literally brought this on ourselves because OURS was the first country that weaponized this Market Model in order to "Jobify" the rest of the world's existence from middle management downward
