And we need Sailing XP for...? Anyone knows?

In the future we will be getting battleships(sailboats are more for lifeskills/leisure) and a Leviathan sea boss. Higher sailing = higher maneuverability.

I can confirm that I got 13% exp for the Anacado quest at Skilled 2.

I did not know that you had to be level 20 in order to get the quest.  This will make some people unhappy as I just dropped them off at Port Ratt last night.  How do you even level while I out there?

I hope they don't change the way the quest is working now.  I can't afford to spend hours going back and forth.  I wouldn't mind it so much if you actually got exp for sailing anywhere else besides Magoria and Ross.  That would make the quest optional instead of almost mandatory if you intend on leveling.

Apparently it was quickly changed in KR so that the character that accepts the quest has to finish it. I would expect this change to hit NA/EU any week now.

At Skilled 2 with 4 life skill pets out, a Sute Tea, and those.. is it Time potions? The Lifeskill ones, I get 2% each way(through Ross and Margoria).

This is holding down W the entire way.

That and 13% Ancado turn-in at Skilled 2... Gonna be a long ride to Professional. =x

Today's patch (26 apr 2017) made it so that you have to finish the quest with whichever character accepts the quest so oh well, was fun while it lasted!

Yes you have to actually put some effort in to leveling sailing now, it ain't free exp anymore.

can someone share any tips how to effectively get to Magoria without navigation?

I sailed Epheria Sailboat for hour, met 2 ghostships and didn't hit it. maybe I've chose wrong trajectory.

Can someone give any advice?

Look at the map and align your direction in the direction of the arrow pointing towards Port Ratt. If you have never visited it take the ferry once so it is uncoverd on the map. Maybe purchase a compass to get to know the direction better.

From where you enter Ross Sea, try and align yourself with Port Ratt, often nortwestern if coming from Lema/Velia or nort-north-west from Epheria.

You can kill the mob to get rid of the phantom ship, however if the mob is clearly taking no damage at all, climb on to the back storage area of your ship and switch channels. Glitched Phantom ships are way too common..

If you want to take it down with cannonballs though, go ahead. Will just take longer, but not recommended if there is a sea monster in the area as they may often move in to range to attack you as well.

That's ridiculous. Looks like I'll be staying Skilled then.
