LvL 56 Musa PvE grinding rotation

It's hard to come by basic guides that focus on early awakened PvE. Most guides are into advanced PvP chains or cancels needed for those last percent of extra damage.

If you have mastered this class and are able to write down a typical 30 seconds of a lvl 56 PvE-rotation I'm sure it would be of great help to those of us just starting out with the awakening. Movement skills between packs, sustain-skills and vital skill add-ons would be a nice bonus.

So far I have this from a recent post (lacking engage, cool down skills and movement between packs):

Rotation
Opener: Dash > Twister
Rotate around mobs with Cross Cut (Strafe+LMB) and throw in Twister (Space) for front guard
Block big attacks with Q+LMB
Backflow can be canceled out of Fiery Angel (?)

@lvl59: Pack 1: BTB > Chase to pack 2: Crust crusher > Foul play > Chase to pack 3: cross cut > counter assassination > Projection (clean up rest)

HP-sustain
Use reapers potion or draining potion for 0hp pot grinds.
Press S, auto block and wait for pots/Nemesis Slash CD.

WP-sustain
For WP you want to keep twister on the 2s CD.
Throwing in spinner when off cd will also help reduce mana drain.
Extraction gems can be used on weapons if needed.

Add on
20pve damage +10% attack speed on crosscut is mandatory for pve.
Divider maxed with the +hp and +wp addon as an emergency heal during PvE.

Gameplay
LOS ranged mobs, keep them in your front arc, or focus them down early.
Bring and drink a lot of WP-pots to keep dps up.

Drink a lot of WP juice and watch your pve effectiveness skyrocket  as well :) . In my honest opinion, Addon is good for pve, the elixirs for life steal too. Spinner, while sustaining you, and dealing "decent" damage, it's slow af, crosscutting is gonna be way faster and when you grind during hours, little seconds gained everytime you spinner, can become minutes in the end.

To alleviate the repetitiveness and "grind" of grinding, I practiced PvP combos on mobs while grinding. This prevents it from being a completely brainless activity and also helps muscle memory for PvP. Granted, this only really works when your damage output doesn't one-shot the mobs and the mobs are also cc'able. I personally used this method to grind at pirates from lvl 56-58 pre-awakening, but it should also be applicable with awakening.

At tougher locations (eg. Pila Ku, Aakman Temple) I've utilized all that you've listed already. Keep in mind to line of sight the range mobs. In easier locations, (eg. Pirates, Gahaz) with sufficient DP you should be able to ignore the range mobs. However in high level locations, you want to keep your eye out for the range mobs. Keep them in front and never let them Back Attack you. And always target them down first. Melee mobs will naturally group.

Also another tip that might not have been mentioned (and is more just common sense). Don't bother with the XL WP potions. We have naturally low WP. Use mana pots that are relevant to your mana pool. Know your mana usage habits and pack accordingly. No point dragging around and chugging wp pots that recover 325 wp out of your 350 wp when you find yourself potting with 1/2 or more wp left. It's a waste of money and weight limit.

My apologies for bringing up PvP in a PvE guide.

Thanks! Your input has been added.

Any thoughts on transitions or gap-closers?

Is Musa really just about Cross Cut and Twister?

twister can be used from dash and backflow can be canceled out of fiery angel.

Gap closer? chase lol
Also your grinding becomes far more comfortable at 59 with the introduction of Foul play. Also don't forget, BTB pve damage is actually insane. It can 1 shot groups with decent AP. At some point Musa grinding simply becomes, chase to group BTB, chase to next group crust crusher foul play, chase to next, cross cut--> counter assassination-->Projection(clean up rest) rinse and repeat.
