So i put my pony auto walk with a 545 trade crates towards Sand grain and went afk. Ofcourse i know that there can be bandits if youre unlucky but i figured meh, not gona happen. I came back and found myself rekt by bandits so i went back to Calpheon to retrieve my pony only to see that out of 545 crates only 21 was left. What the actual -----?

Based on what is it decided how many crates you can loose, this is dumb.

I guess you learned to be more aware, crates too valuable. Using a Pony though, I can respect that.

Yeah this happened to me as well 2 days ago. Afked for a minute but got rekt. Had 770ish crates with me and had 150ish left. Needless to say i'm never taking my eyes off of BDO again when i'm transporting crates.

Yeah, bandits are nasty. It's not that they hit so hard, but they body-block you&road until you're dead lol.

I never been killed by bandits when afk'ing with my max DP merchant wagon though. For some reason it tends to plough itself through the body-blocking bandit hordes. Still wouldn't risk afk'ing if moving timber crates though.

My most genius idea so far was moving crates on a node war channel during war. No monster or bandits right?! Wrong. They're also bugged on node war maps and will follow you all the way from Trent to Valencia, unless you kill them or put the wagon in a stable xD

Lost ~1,6k Lead Ore crates (was carrying 7156) some months ago from a single death.

Seems the range of loss is high spread out.

Yeah the problem is the mobs have collision, so usually you can walk right past them but once in a while you will get hung up on one.

Just check map from time to time and when you are close to the spot marked just walk a bit to the sides of the road so you can easily dodge them.

Never AFK.
