Musa World PvP?

8 posts in this topic

Hey guys, semi-new player here looking to jump into either Musa or Warrior for awhile until Striker gets its NA release. I've heard that Musa is top tier in terms of farming and the fire spins look really cool so I feel that this would be a good choice for farming up while waiting for Striker, but I wanted to know how it fares in open world pvp when fighting over spots. Do you need a high gear level before Musa can reasonably take on most classes, or would you consider it to have fairly balanced match ups in a 1v1/world pvp setting? Would I be better off as a warrior despite its presumably much slower grinding speed? I don't mind having unfavorable matchups, but I'd hope that it stands a fair chance against most of them.

Depends on your gear, but warrior is better with less gear.

with really good gear you have a fair chance against anything that isnt warrior or valk, musa does quite well in pve. as for warrior, dont get too blinded by ppl talking about the slower grind speed, it wasnt slow at all to get 56, just need to learn spinning slash cancel and spec into scars of dusk.

Not at all, just roll warrior you're not going to stick to Musa anyways so a warrior is most likely going to be your best choice since they can do better than us with less gear. Warrior is a very accesible class that is very forgiving on low/mid level play so I would say it fits you right now.

Musa is basically unplayable PVP-wise, just play a warrior/zerk

Thanks for the help, guys! The grind speed and flashy spins is really tempting, but I guess I'll take it easy and grind it out with warrior till Striker is out.

Easy way: go warrior.

Determined, love for the aesthetics way: keep with the musa.
