Anyone else kinda bored of the game right now?

Been feeling it for a couple of weeks now; zero interest in nodewars because they are just awful and zero fun now, can only tolerate grinding for 2hrs max, then I end up just running around to see if anyone we're at war with is around for a quick skirmish or two. It's hard to find people across so many channels without that becoming a big boring chore too. Two weeks ago I walked from the lake above Trent all the way to Arehaza just for the hell of it.

I've actually had more fun going around bumping up my max energy levels by completing amity games/talking to the right people/getting knowledge on bosses but that got boring after 3/4 days too.

I was just so bored the other night that I bought 2x Tungrade earrings from AH and tried to pri them at 25fs. Failed. Bought another two and failed to PRI them at 30fs. No big deal, it's only 260M, that's not going to hurt too bad but then I began a game of TET roulette from a woefully low initial FS. Now I'm back to pri/duo gear. I kinda hoped having a target of regaining TRI would provide some impetus to keep playing (obtaining TRI on all my gear was a big driver behind my continuing playing of the game) but I'm not even mad; I just feel a great deal of meh.

I am going to focus on lifeskilling for the time being (I've spent the last 36hrs cooking beer and manaing my farms) to see if taking a break from grinding/combat for a while helps me refocus but I'm just not sure I want to; after a year playing this game intensively I think I'm reaching the point of no return/no reroll which is a shame because there has been a lot of time and actual money invested in the game and it is quite a detailed game. I think I've just finally realised it's a large but very shallow pool :(

Anyone else reached the stage of meh but then found more enthusiasm?

ive been up and down this road before in many MMOs

BDO for me has gotten to that point before DK was released because of anticipation was so high for it.

Got my DK loved the game and began grinding by the time i hit 56 grinding was getting a bit to much for me so i passively started working on Energy and CP.

Now awakening is out and im loving it again as i can grind in places i could not have before.

I like to think of this game as a new iteration of Ragnarok online in full 3d with alot more going for the game and i can actually get behind the game and start grinding again for hours on end.

My boredom is mainly due to the lack of drops.
No reward for playing = less interest (Note PLAYING, not logging in/staying logged in)
& the lack of drops over a month.... Well i've played alot of other games while leaving this one auot processing.

After getting the boss armors and dandy to TET, reaching lvl 60 with 11 alts lvl 56-58..i really dont know what to do after login everyday.

I still need to TRI the crescent and orge tho but its getting bored af, so im not in a rush.

All i do is afk horse, sometime go to bosses, the funny thing is that i got 6 dandy boxes/ 10 boss's fight....

I still managed to earn around 100-200M every weeks (from selling materials) and then feed em to rng jesus.

Didnt give a ----- after 7 duo crescents failed. My soul is now at peace.

Aim for a big worker empire and optimize them. Use Excel sheets and plan a lot, find new things, hope for artisan workers, hope to see good skills on them. These things are really amusing, for me atleast. I enjoy the game and will enjoy It for many many months.

I feel your pain. For me the lack of rewarding group content and emphasis on afk activities are the major turn offs.

I think we all have periods where we play the game more or less, I don't particularly think this is unusual either though.

That said, blowing up 260m in tungrades followed by a tet roulette? That's just begging for a burnout.

Game needs new content, pvp modes and lands to grind in instead of the usual pirates, bandits, Fogans, Pila(mostly pirates for most).

The game is at a crossroads imo.  Can it go another year building a population, or has it hit the climax and it's diminishing from here?

Absolutely, I really wish they'd focus on making the actual core game better instead of handing out free shit to alleviate how utterly crap it is at times.

If I counted the hours I've been at Crescent Shrine without a ring, I'd have myself committed.

im all up for new content but please dont make us feel overwhelmed X.x

I just want my multiple boss kills come to fruition with some decent drops for once T_T

Agreed, I'd much rather blow up shit I've dropped myself than have to farm mobs/afk to get money to just blow stuff up. Not quite the same thing imo.

Agreed, I can't force myself to grind purely for silver/exp, I need that rare drop carrot on a stick to get me going. But hoboy that's getting really tough too.

It took me ages to get to 56 in Mediah days cause Mediah simply had nothing I wanted to drop :/

I absolutely agree with this. the game needs more group content than just node wars, scrolls and seige. Otherwise, its just a single player mmorpg for the most part, which, right now, it is.

Been there, done that. Life skill for a week or so & play something else. Every time I feel the same way as the OP, I just play the bare minimum for a bit and then I'm ready to go for another few weeks.

Well, there are also people who still think the game has SO much to offer, you will never be able to do everything.

If you choose to pick just one single aspect (usually 1 million circles in Sausan/Pirates) then you will get bored fast, yes.

This game is meant to be played casually. You fish, you grind some mobs, you spam chat, you grow potatoes, you AFK, you enchant your gear and so on.

It is kinda fun at it's current but if this game actually had real party content it could be addictive. You get bored of soloing quickly, especially in an MMO.
